Crafting my own nats, what should I alch?
high alch of rune jav 394 ge price of rune jav 340? pure ess price 140 nature rune price 230 I already have all the ess, so the price of ess isn't an issue... I should probably add that to the main post huh...

Crafting my own nats, what should I alch?
Got any to sell? Spam aside... The problem with that is, because of skillcape mania, if I bought gems/gold bars for making bracelets, I'm certain I would lose a huge amount of money, no matter WHAT I actually made.

Crafting my own nats, what should I alch?
I'm crafting nats and using them to alch all the way to 99 mage. I plan on crafting and alching 10k at a time, to keep myself from killing myself with boredom from either one. I already have all the ess I need, so the price of ess is not a factor. That said, my question is two part: 1.) Is there a calculator around that can sort a large amount of items based on their high alchemy price minus their GE prices? I am aware of the RuneScape Wiki calculator, but this only covers a very small amount of items. 2.) What items have limits on the amount you can buy in a 4 hour period? These limits will have a huge effect on what I am able to feasibly buy and alch. If weapons have, as I remember, a limit of 100 every 4 hours, it would take me 400 hours to buy all that I needed; that's over 2 weeks! I will therefore need to find an item that either has no limit or has one of the 25K limits that I believe applies to runes, arrows, etc. Everyone knows that these limits exist yet for some reason Jagex refuses to put this kind of information in the Knowledge Base

Creating new life in old places... But how/where?
Because of the telescope, my dear friend. With it you can see any meteorite falling towards our planet ;) P.S. See my signature? See what it says? Good  Hmm I wasn't aware that you could use that telescope to search for meteorites. Is there any benefit to using that telescope instead of the telescope in your player owned house? Does it give more precise readings?

Creating new life in old places... But how/where?
I think this is a great idea! I just have a couple issues with this. Both of those are great, although if you were to create a necklace teleport to Trouble Brewing you'd have to consider what would become of the rum that currently teleports you there. Of course it could be removed from the game completely. Why not add these teleports to the Necklace of Binding and change its name. We could say that each 100 rune crafted with it uses up 1 charge, as does one teleport. Also a good idea, but once again why not add it to an existing piece of jewelry, the Digsite Pendant. Honestly, 5 charges and all you can do is go to the digsite? Crazy! You could add these teleports to that and rename it. The only problem, then, is that the Digsite isn't exactly a Diversion or anything so it wouldn't "fit in" with the other teleports. Also, why teleport to the observatory? Firstly, I believe these should be added to the amulet of fury. It could be like the glory amulet, but recharged somehow in Tzharr, but preferably NOT with tokull. Also, the Fight Caves and the Fight Pits are both extremely close together. It seems a bit wasteful to have both.

I do know that occasionally Jagex will present conflicting historical stories, however in the example you provided, and in many other examples, there is a reason for it. The Priest in Lumbridge says that Saradomin created Gielinor because that is what he was told. It was a lie told by Saradomin himself and passed down by his followers and priests. How could they know any better, and why would they doubt their God? This historical contradiction is one that is made intentionally because it serves to develop Saradomin's personality. It is also interesting to note that the priest is in Lumbridge and will probably be among the first NPCs that new players talk to. That said, the Priest would provide his own biased view of how Gielinor was created. Initially the new player would accept this without question, but as they do quests and explore RuneScape, they would learn things that would lead them to question if things really were how the Priest said they were... So just because two stories conflict, it does not mean that its sloppy. Its often an interesting and multi-dimensional plot device. But in the example I provided, and in a few others I can't immediately recall, there seems to be no reason. Due to the massive amount of evidence supporting it, we can assume that the Dragonkin are the creators of dragon weapons. So the question is, was the Frenaskrae reference an intentional contradiction? If so, why? What would the fairy have to gain by saying they were from Frenaskrae? What would the Mahjarrat (the only confirmed beings from Frenaskrae) have to gain by saying they created the weapons? The Mahjarrat are known for their incredible power with magicks, not their prowess with a blade. Furthermore, nearby the fairy that says dragon weapons come from Frenaskrae is a fairy who was released with the Impetuous Impulses Minigame. This fairy follows the "new" history of Dragon weapons, that they were made by the Dragonkin, although she calls them by their true name, Necrosyrtes. Why would these two fairies believe two different stories about the origin of dragon weapons, especially when there really is nothing to be gained from lying? Also, don't think that I am unduly critical of Jagex for being sloppy. I have no experience in programming, and cannot even begin to imagine how difficult is is to make a game like RuneScape, much less remembering to update every little bit of dialogue every time they change something. I only presented that information to show a complication that comes with trying to learn the history of RuneScape.- The /\ < V game

7/10 for being an individualist- Underrated Items
True true  . I can't really find other ways of using them other than what Mmmcannibalism said. Although in theory you could run to the Ice Obelisk, go to one of the Obelisks in sub-20 wild, use the imps/pack yak/whatever to bank the ore, then Obelisk back. Uuum, if your talking about the KBD visage drop, the KBD lair is NOT wilderness, so yur free to use the imp there ;) Using those obelisks is an enormous pain in the butt. They never teleport you where you want to go, even after like 10 tries. You always wind up getting sent to the one near rogue's castle, where an Ork or Knight is waiting to poison you or teleblock you instantly.- Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Talking to Juna during the quest was a great idea, I never thought of that #-o- Underrated Items
The 400 points is worth it, and it is assistable. Its actually 300 points, and it will only teleport you to Tarn's Lair if you've already done it once before.- What are you hoping for in 2009?
Mages are supposed to get owned by rangers ;) He's talking about meleers wearing dragonhide instead of plate armor- What are you hoping for in 2009?
Something random that I would really love is customizable shortcuts. Like, right now the Fkeys open up menus... and some are used for QuickChat. I never use QuickChat, so I want to reassign those keys! Players would be able to use the settings menu to change each one of the Fkey's actions. They could choose from a list of common/useful commands, such as Toggle Run, Deactivate Active Prayers, Remove All Equipment, and a lot more. Players could choose whichever commands they wanted, so it'd be completely customizable. Something original I'd like to see - What's on your clipboard?
Exciting.- What are you hoping for in 2009?
Amen to that; not even Disney censors those - Tip.It Times: Jan 4, 2009 (New Style!)
