Quite a nice hunter level, and I see your stats as the start of a great tank ranger if you'd like to go that path. I guess I'll be following your footsteps with regard to hunter/range. Not so much wanting a 99, but I'd like 90 range, and the hunter that would come conveniently along.

2/16/2007 Today's a Friday. What a hectic day it's been. So I come home and sit down and play RS. Anticlimactic, and kinda sad really. But whatever. Whether or not people understand it, this is entertaining for me. And after a week of focusing on schoolwork, I think I need a bit more of entertaining computer games and a bit less of homework. There's a break next week; that's partly why I'm making this. I considered my options. I was thinking of maybe going for full Guthan. Then I decided that wasn't too interesting. Or maybe wasn't too likely. Whatever it was, I ended up settling on trying for 75 slayer in this week to come. That would involve approximately (a bit less than) doubling my current xp, doing approximately four tasks a day. Doable? I dunno. Today started off with the second half of an Aberrants task from the day before. Sometime in the last 50-ish, I realized you could use a Salve ammy. That was funny. Free battlestaff. I got a clue in the middle. Rune plate. Oh well. Then I got iron dragons, and after wasting one prayer potion inventory, Burthorped for Icefiends. Clue scroll. Which wants HAM robe bottoms. Which I threw out. Bleh. Thieving time. And thankfully someone traded me the bottom for practically every other piece. Two black items (long, baxe). Oh well. Black demons. Hey wait! I can't melee those! More Burthorping. Wolves. That I can do. Back to Duradel. 141 Aberrant. I have a love-hate relationship with Aberrants. Great drops, annoying routine, modest xp. And then, WOOT! Mystic Red Bottom! First red mystic drop for me! A few kills later yet another lava! And now it's late and I have classes tomorrow morning (weird out-of school thing). Good night world! 2/17/06 Didn't do much today. Had classes in the morning where they tried to teach me physics. Unfortunately, having taken neither Physics C nor BC Calculus, my understanding was very limited. I was at the CW event with the TET. Great idea, not so great in practice. The problems of CWing with the whole of TipIt began to show up. Higher levels dominated. As did barragers. There wasn't so much room for strategy, you were too busy being one hit by a group of 120s. Whereas I'm used to games in which I'm part of a two person team against another more or less two person team. (For all intents and purposes, I exclude those who sit around and melee each other from a team's member count.) I'm still around 450 tickets. Gonna get 600 eventually enough. Then I went KBD with the SODB. We're all really high level, so we last forever. But the droprates are down, way down. There was only one med this whole trip from about 30 people. And I'm proud to say, I got that drop! And then in Edge I realize my screenshot software wasn't working because I bound it to an improper key. Hilarity ensues. And so now I'm back to Aberrants on task. SODB is taking over the tower soon enough. And take over they did. Alas, that means no spawn for me, so I world hop away. Finished. Got a new task of Fire Giants. 87 ATK! And then forgot my hotkey for screenshot software. Two half key loops. Now on new task of Kalphite. Loop half. Wow. Hellhounds. Maybe tomorrow. 2/18/07 Instead of going on slayer, I decided to take a break and do... barrows?! Meh. Strange me. First run of nothing. Now, my barrows luck is horrible, I've had a dry streak of 100+, but I never really fully tracked. So... Went CW for most of the day. Went on task. Got 87 HP. Missed another screenie. I lose? 2/19/07 Went to hounds again. Clue. Finished. Duradel gives me... Aberrants. This is getting silly. I guess my clue then comes first. 2 pickaxes after a runaround. Going Aberrants yields one lava on the first trip. Met another TipIter who was also SODB. Yay! Wasted the day. Don't even remember how. Kalphite. Infernal Mages. The aberrants task was indeed short, and no lamps came to me, so I just got a wolves task, and did it and got 75. I realize this blog has recently become a slayer task log. I would continue that if I could, but my RS finances dictate otherwise. I've been left drained of gp, though I plan to be back slayering by next week. For now, I have purchased three crystal bows that I intend to use at blue dragons. I have also purchased 1k iron ores to make into knives. I am currently smelting.

You can't one hit anything past iron, and that's kinda my definition of fast. Coal could be a few hits higher on, kinda maybe fast. Everything else will take you tons of hits regardless of level, and although you average faster times with higher levels, level doesn't matter much and in the end it's just slow.

It will stop them from dds-ing you quite as consistently, and if you're really lucky then it might let you live to run away. But a hassle, and kinda hoping for too much considering how most pkers hit.

I just use ring to CW, which was once one space but is now usuable while equipped.

With the ancient Carallangar tele, definitely so. Without, I don't advise the walk.

I should ask, as far as super energies go, do you make back the gp spent on them or is it just a way to "buy" xp?

Definitely nice of you all to put the RP back into RPG.

I only have b2p (got it 5 mins ago actually), and probably can't afford Guthan's any time soon. I can however say from personal experience that b2p can't keep up with the rate many things will sometimes hit me. Guthan heals you usually 20+ per monster (from jealously watching every guy next to me with his/her shiny Guthan set), better with more str. Bones to peaches just 8. A lot of higher level things hit you for way more than that.
