Yes a new BoB. Currently it goes from 18 spaces all the way to 36. One which lets you carry 24-26 would be great. Plus the Terrorbird (12) is cheap as chips but fills up fast, whereas the Tortoise (18) has the extra space I crave but costs me a fortune to use all the time. The time/money difference to get from Tortoise to the cheaper Pak Yak is immense so another BoB would be awesome.

Actually, quite the oppisite. Defense usually wins out against strength and attack outfits. If two people with the same stats, one used max defense out fit, one used max strength, defense would win. You've confused what he's said. He was saying that in most cases attack/strength bonuses are better than defence bonuses which is true. Plenty of people get by with just rune armour when they could use dragon or barrows. Obviously if you deal with someone with the same stats then it becomes a different story, but most of the time you are killing things with lower levels.

We need one in the mid 80's. Currently best XP comes from the artic bear which has a horribly overpriced and/or a hard to get en mass second. Therefore people are using the BArker Toad all the way to 99. All the other charms have higher levelled summons so why not gold?

Level 20 is minimum I think.

Heck, if you like clues, go clue hunt for a few days and buy laws with your profit :) I've lived off of law runes I got from clue scrolls for about a year and a half.

:thumbup: Do something which earns you cash then buy law runes. Back in my days of f2p I used to buy 100 at a time from sellers (this was before the GE, laws were 1kea if you bought low amounts but if you bought in 100's you got them for 500!)

Both [wagon] and damn are perfectly OK words. It's just the way it's said. For example: "You my friend are a total and utter tree hugging mongoose." Now is that bad? Yes it is. Does it use any bad words however? No. To make matters worse, innocent words then become "bad" words. For example, [wagon], damn, gay, [rooster], etc. etc. Jagex are quite right in uncensoring these words, it isn't the words which are cause offense, it's the people using them. Censor the user and not the words!

The best defence you can get is with a dragon square .... So im not sure why everyone is saying rune defender... Torags and the square shield is better defence then a defender and torags... Ahh but the best defence can sometimes be offense. This is extreme but say you could 1 kit KO a monster 100% of the time with a rune defender but with a Dragon Sq it would take you two hits, meaning the monster "got one in". It would be better to use the defender as you have no hits! Same kinda theory in reality. You are hitting more and are therefore killing faster and taking less hits. Either way defence has never been that important in day to day slaying due to the sheer amount of ways to heal. I mean there was food and then Guthan's came along and made it so you could heal on task without food. Now you have Bunyips and Unicorns and SGS's and suddenly it doesn't matter if you get hit, cos you can deal with it easily and cheaply and still continue attacking at full strength.

Sorry to post hijack but I'm thinking of going for my long overdue Fire Cape* and would like to know how you can practice prayer switching as I thought the only way to face Jad was to get through the waves first. *I got to the latter waves, logged off for the loo came back and was at wave 1. Gave up after that.

Well all Barrows melee armour is pretty similar. Torags is best for out and out defense, Veracs for prayer, Guthans for healing and Dharoks for strength. I forget the exact best defensive combo but it's a Torags/Dharoks hybrid I'm sure. However you'd be wiser to use Guthans. Reason being you can flip in the spear/helm and get a healing boost when needed. This saves you 2 inventory spaces and saves you lugging around 2 sets of heavy armour. The stats are not that dfferent.

Slayer. With a Sara Sword.

Varies dramatically with your stats and gear. It's roughly 2/3 kills though. Very common.

Crimsons are your best bet. Slayer is the best way to get charms but only if you're in it for the long haul. Waterfiends are a good crimson dropper.

I have 91 slayer. I have been training slayer for 3 years. This is what I have found in my experience:Slay points are stupid. They are a complete waste of time. The only reason people use them is becasue they are too afraid to drop them. Who cares about your slayer level, or the ammount of time you've spend in it. Fyi, I've played longer and have 99 slayer, and I disagree with you. By your logic, I win. Agreed. I'm 94 slayer and can safely say Slayer Points are the best thing to happen to slayer. Points = free cash when you trade for runes. Who is going to knock that? Also TheDay's list of bad tasks is dubious. Black Demons give awesome XP and should never be skipped, sure you burn a few prayer points, but if you alch, collect coins and have a semi-decent pray level you break even or slightly profit. Greater Demons are also OK XP, granted easier at 127+ cb so the dogs don't attack you but even before then you can slay them with only 20 minutes of aggro if you bother to work out where the "zone" is. Hellhounds have rubbish drops but are pretty much a "free" task with average XP. Only trouble is the place is packed, but they are still not worth skipping. Only one I agree on is Steel Dragons. I block Steels, Irons, Terrorbirds and Wyverns. The latter 2 mainly for ease as they are a pain to complete.

Unlock the fletching. Pointless yes, but Jagex will most likely have this as a requirement for something or other in the future. After that I would leave 90 points for cancelling tasks and spend the rest on runes. Nice profit to be made, pays for the cannoning I do \

All my SC stats are 80 except Hunter and it's always a lvl 5 swarm I find... Maybe we are just unlucky.

Slayer wise unicorn is good when Bunyip can't keep up or on task where you usually pray. However in most slayer situations you're better off with a Bunyip or a BoB for carrying loot. Boss hunting wise, unicorns are a godsend, and combined with a SGS can seriously prolong trips. I've not seriously done any boss hunting but I have heard from reliable friends that the unicorn was totally worth it.

No idea. Best bet is to cannon them in that little enclave just before the Queen. I bring a Titan to help/heal but Bunyip will work, or Guthans. Take about 4-6 super antis. Little bit of a boring task but it's over fast.

Rune defender. If you are getting hard use a different monster or if on slayer task use an Obby shield. Obviously use an anti dragonfire shield on dragons.

Hehe I got my Adze back but died when leaving Wildy, got everything back cept the gloves. Reason I wore them is because I was running with an inventory of logs and needed to keep weight low. What is annoying is I did the 13th beacon and got attacked by a rev. I was naked cept for weight reducing stuff so he got 3 high hits in leaving me with 21. Luckily I managed to light the 14th beacon and was running to the Mage Bank to tele back to Varrock where I got hit by another Rev, stuck on pro range, but he maged me dead. 3rkid I would love a few games of BA with you. I'm level 5 heal and defender as these are the roles which most people mess up and I found if I did them myself we'd be able to get through most waves with some nice points. I only need attacker points currently, and its about 50ish so it isn't the end of the world.

So I stupidly did Summer End with my Inferno Adze and died and lost it. Now I need my Adze again (did quest on day of release). So I do the beacons again, this time only with maples (easily done btw) but died leaving the wildy to a double edged rev attack. No issues went back to get my stuff (wasn't a lot) but my Penance Gloves didn't protect. So now I have to play BA again, which I enjoy but I have to do attacker and collector which are the 2 hardest roles to get points in as usually the heal/def are noobs. Grr.

You lose a little bit of efficiency each day that you don't keep your approval rating up. Therefore, you have to decide how often it's worth going back to miscellania to get the approval rating back up to increase profit. It does make a difference, however small. I've left it 2 weeks without getting approval up but with enough cash to cover it all. Got approval to 100% then collected and I had double what I usually get, no losses.

No, he picked the most usefull one How does that affect it being the most expensive one? IT IS the most expensive one to fill. i agree. thats why i picked guthix first because i was planning to get all 3 and it was the cheapest. clever me. =] What's clever about paying approx 100kea for 2 books which are useless?
