  1. I would also bet you are killing a monster with mage based melee. Wear Karils or Black Dragonhide. If you are still being hit pro from melee prayer is the one you need.
  2. Did you get the Fairy Pink one? I like those ones.
  3. I skip them cos they annoy me. Maybe I should try them again now.
  4. Guthans. If you are training with a BGS then get a whip and rune defender instead cos it's faster.
  5. Duo tormented demons.
  6. So If I can sell in GE at med to enchanters it would be better. Cool.
  7. I had loads of gems in the bank and loads of gold bars so I made ammys and used the lunar spell to string them. Great XP. Is this a profitable way to train mage? I know there is a guy who buys ammys from the Spirit of Summer / Summer's End portals but dunno which or any details. Also what are the XP rates like? Is it worth buying ammys and stringing them, or buying bars, crafting to ammys then stringing? Slow crafting xp sure, but it's pretty painless. Thanks
  8. A level 80 item nets you fast points so it's worth it.
  9. [*]Summer End was good quest, new high level RAID monster introduced. [*]Whilst Guthix Sleeps was a the biggest quest so far. Dragon plate tied in with it 400k free XP and when released required all other quests to be done. A few main npc characters die. [*]Stealing Creation minigame was released, offering double XP in a few skills with it's reward. 99 smithing and construction got easier. That's really all the main points I can think of.
  10. Yep. High alch anything worth more than a nature rune though.
  11. I do agree with Kent. However summoning isn't hard to train. Yes it's expensive for lower levels but it isn't hard. If you slay for your charms then I see the charms as a by-product of slayer so they've taken no effort at all. Then the pouch making is quick, better once you have the Kyatt but the Pictoris method or the Balloon Method work just as well for lower levels. If you really want summoning XP then use all ya XP lamps in it. You can't use Tears of Guthix as you have 31 summoning and are unranked in both runecrafting and hunter. Plus you're only 2 levels from overtaking 33 construction as well. A lot of your other stats are well below 68 so by the time you've upped them past 68, you could have got far higher summoning from regular methods. The penguins give decent XP per week if you want to them, but that's probably the only thing you'll be able to do regularly.
  12. im pretty sure it does : btw nice avatar cat Hehe and you. Brand rocks.

Bandos Chest is only makes a difference for GWD. With his stats he won't be doing that so cashing it in for Torags/Guthans is the best option.
  14. Melee is close, hand to hand combat. The only 2 melee stats are attack and strength. Defense and HP can be trained via mage/range making them not strictly a melee skill.
  15. Still, you can "use" the logs on the pyrelord but it doesn't allow you to create fires above your level...I don't see a difference. The level boost doesn't come from using the logs on the pyrelord, you actually get it at all times while the pyrelord is alive, I believe. I mean, I don't see what the point of a measley 3 level INVISIBLE boost is...especially in firemaking, but in anything. You don't catch fish THAT much faster and you don't make fire that much quicker....or longer. Oh but it does. I have used familiars in Woodcutting (beaver) and Fishing (ibis/granite lobster) and found the invisible boosts make it that little bit quicker. 3 levels makes all the difference. Plus those familiars forage you stuff, netting you more cash.
  16. But you save masses of time. Time you can use to make more money.

    layer with a capital S
  18. Use a gilded altar.
  19. Actually, Flax is worth 90 gp on the G.E. So that makes about 10800 gp per day. What a wonderful reward! While that is true at the moment it won't be for long. Maples used to be worth alot and if you could be bothered with the effort of selling them u culd make huge money every week via mtk with them. GE comes, it takes no effort to sell things. Everyone puts mtk onto maples, boom price crash. This thing is no different really, everyone gets the headbands and therefore free flax, but there's no increase in demand for flax so the price will crash Start of the GE was different. People had masses and masses of stuff stored in there bank. Reason being you got 3k+ of maples a week and it was a pain to sell them. Fill in forum post on RSOF, arrange a meeting place, switch worlds, and then finally trade. Hardly worth doing weekly to high level players. However GE arrived and suddenly it was easy to sell stuff. People stuck items in there thousands onto it which caused a huge drop. This extra flax won't make that much difference. People won't do it daily, people will forget or will have something better to do. I expect it to drop slightly, making fletching more profitable, but then steady out.
  20. I believe you use the saw to get to the level for the shelves. Then use the tea and saw to get to the level for the altar. I got mine at 71
  21. Smoke is easy. Blood is medium. Shadow is hard. Ice is hard. Just read a guide and you should be fine.
  22. The FM boost is the most pointless in game. Once you start one fire you can make a full inven at same speed, regardless of level and regardless of logs. It's only if you leave it too long to light the next fire does the boost come into play. Use a forager instead.
  23. Just needs four clicks around it to work.
  24. I thought this was a rant about how stupid the storyline is but no it's just another noob who died cos they were not prepared. How hard is it to protect from range? How hard is it bank between parts of the quests to ensure you're not carrying loads of expensive gear? Obviously very.
