Gargoyles...
1. Never killed em in the Chaos Tunnels. Slayer tower is usually empty. 2. I get one per task usually so 1/170

Madness of the Monkey!
It's very easy. You just need prayer and range.

85 Slayer
Lose the dragon legs and torags. Guthans body and skirt is fine for slaying and you save 2 inventory slots for more loot. You will make more than repair cost's easily. At 80 smithing it cost's me just over 100k to repair (helm and spear at 100, body and skirt at 25) every 11.5 hours. If I don't make that then there is something seriously wrong! Also do the quests for Prostelyte armour for your prayer gear. Karils body/skirt is good for mage defense. If you can do the Fight Caves for a fire cape. If you can't trimmed skillcape or skillcape. I suffice with a trimmed skillcape. Go get a rune defender now. More use than any other shield (except anti-fire for dragons). Do Smoking Kills to allow you to ban tasks (up to 4) and get the slayer helm (black mask with better stats and facemask, nosepeg, earmuffs and spiny helm all in one) Best way is to use the Canifis master for 9 tasks and on the 10th use Duradel for max points. I would buy in order of Helm, Rings, Fletching always leaving yourself enough points (200ish) to block tasks you don't like. For these I would suggest Iron and Steels with the other 2 the 2 you hate the most. Mine are Wyverns and Terrorbirds. Chances are you won't have unlocked Terrorbirds unless you're a quester. Get some dragon boots if you don't already. Ring wise, Berserker is the best but expensive for what it is. If you are on a budget I would go with warrior as if you are whipping (slash attacks) the extra boost is good. For anything else theres no harm in using the ring of wealth. As someone has mentioned 68 summoning will aid you no end. Yes Guthans heals you, but it's slow compared to whip/defender, the Bunyip allows you more freedom to whip before having to switch to Guthans. Get some bones to peaches tablets too, handy for tasks were bones are dropped. Finally once you are rich and have cash to spare then invest in a cannon. It makes certain tasks go by a lot quicker. It is a bit expensive though so only really for the hardcore slayer but there comes a point when you can offset the cannon costs with the profit you make. (I average 60k profit a task before "big" drops)

More npc's would be nice too. The chaos tunnels certainly helped for some assignments. (Hellhounds perm-blocked for me for just that reason) Err, kinda veered off topic sorry. PVP worlds FTW. (I can't believe I said that) Not true. I did some Hellhounds there and got killed by a nasty little double team. Couldn't run away. So it's only good if you use cheap gear which slows down the kills.

The Start of being a member plz help (Btw i am a girl)
I'm a guy, but play as a girl. Main reason was I changed sex for Recruitment Drive and then lost the free makeover thing, but it's actually a better game as a female. Less cries of "noob!", cheaper equipment (Dragon Skirt) and something better to look at.

They need slayer only worlds for people killing monsters on tasks. Hellhounds and Abby Demons both suffer from overcrowding.

OK so I tried it. Pretty impressed in honesty, seemed very fair. XP isn't bad for me either. Don't get me wrong it's not the best, but for something to play for fun it's nice. 60 Big Bones on the gamble btw if anyone is logging.

10-Feb-2009 Soul Wars Minigame
Not played it. Not likely to be playing it soon either but it seems decent enough for a minigame. The fact it isn't the best way to train slayer/summoning pleases me no end. Slayer needs to stay the most respected skill.

dragon boots drop rate
Don't be a pie noob, the extra levels are not that much harder to get. People will seriously look down on you if they see you dropping pie dishes.

Yup :o Wow that's a Western expansion if I'm not mistaken. Maybe the Eastern lands will appear one day then...

Further west than the Elven lands? Is this on the map?

Dragon claws...
And why shoudn't hardcore questers be rewarded with a way to make some nice cash? It's all find and dandy when they are releasing a massive dungeon which any Pest Control product can profit on but as soon as Jagex cater for the questers you slate them. Agreed, questers are pretty underrewarded. Completing anywhere near all quests is ALOT of work. (Although I'd say the days of PC products is gone) PC Products won't just go. If they got stats to 99 via PC then they still have 99 stats because of PC. Instead of PC they now just do GWD.

Melee Void vs Bandos
What is the price of Bandos? How long will it take you to get void? Is the time it takes to get void cheaper than that of Bandos?

Agility Boost (As A First Resort)
That's one question we should put to the new "honest" Jagex CEO

dragon boots drop rate
1 in 90 seems about right.
-
Waterfiend Crims Per Hour
They drop a crimson 2 out of 3 kills on average.
-
Camping Waterfiends
Bit of overkill on the prayer pots. With 90 defence I can last without prayer 70% of the time with some lucky drops. Anyways don't camp them. Do trips of 2 bunyips each and bank in between.

The Easy 99?
Just ploughing money into a skill is usually a good way to level it fast. Some players are uber rich. For example firemaking is fast, with magic logs it really is ludicriously fast XP. If someone was rich they would get 99 via magics and get 99 within the week. Most players stick to maples though. Same can be said for most skills, there is usually an expensive way to power train.

length of desert treasure?
2-3 hours I'd say. Was different when I did it. No summoning and no YouTube :( Basically with familiars to hold stuff for you and YouTube to watch guides theres no reason it should take you long. I remember having to bank 3 times on the ice boss. Something you may only need to do once. Plus if I'd have seen the guide, rather than reading it, it would have been easier still.

Feb 9 2009: The Future of Runescape
Why do all the big corporations always embrace the attitude of: "Money lets roll in the money bring in more money money money money..." Jagex whether in the previous years or after this post never struck me as that kind of company. Whatever happened to gaming companies producing a product that not only brought in Benjamins but actually had people rave about it and say it was simply "fun." I'm sure even with this supposedly radical (or attempts to "please everyone") approach Jagex will stay afloat and prosper just as they have for the past several years. Forgive me if I am using poor and rudimentary logic here but I just don't see a reason to worry so much :P... Niceness doesn't pay the bills. You need money for that. I applaud Jagex for actually giving there free users more. A stance I've recently changed due to the current economic crisis and the fact theres other games out there which offer similar gameplay and better graphics. However if I was CEO of Jagex my main goal would be to get f2p'rs to buy members. Advertising the pluses of members and making f2p'rs aware of what members has to offer is the best way to acheive that. I remember going east from the Karamaja Volcano and getting to the Brimhaven gate and trying to get in. "Sorry this is a members only area" appeared. Same thing when I tried to enter Taverley. That made me want members so I could go there. Then there was the no adverts things, weekly updates, more bank space etc. etc. All of which spurred me to get members. If I didn't have to suffer adverts and annoying messages saying I couldn't do things then I'd probably still be f2p now.

Dual Arena Clue
Just pay a noob 10-20k to let you do it. I had to do that at first. Now my HP is so high I can withstand them with prayer (plus I know where to dig)

wtf my herbs
Use an amulet of farming/nature on the first or last patch. Then you get an alarm when they are ready.

The Start of being a member plz help (Btw i am a girl)
I read this post as: "Hi I'm a new female member *flutter eyelashes* and was wondering if any boys would like to help me *flutter eylashes* gain some decent equipment, or maybe give me some gold *flutter eyelashes*. Oh did I mention I was a girl *flutter eyelashes*, with big boobs *flutter eyelashes*" Or maybe I'm just being cynical.
