  1. It's mid 60's I think.

Way to bump a 4 month old thread. :wall:
  3. Some people don't like slayer. Some people are noobs. I dont like Slayer... and I think there are more "noobish" people other than myself. I'm not saying you are, but in general high combat with low slayer = noob. Anyone can AFK combat or gain massive amount of XP (old PC for example). Slayer shows you have dedication to a skill and also net you extra XP. Trust me I am so glad my levels have been gained through slayer. When I do max melee I will be 96-97 slayer, leaving only 2-3 levels to get whilst "wasting" XP. If you have max combat before slayer then you are having to do all that fighting all over again. Plus the charms I have gotten so far have got me 86 summoning in a year. I've been doing slayer for over 3, so if I had have had charm drops from the start, I'd be damn close to 99 summoning as well. high combat with low slayer = smart? If you want the fastest xp, (which I don't see why you wouldn't) slayer is useless. Why waste time going to get new tasks, finding where the monster is, getting different armor depending on what monster it is, getting different slayer items to kill them, and sometimes having to burthrope your task and kill some random low level creature. In all the time you spent doing that you could've gotten loads more xp, while hardly doing any work (if you're at an AFK training spot, but even if you're not, its still not that much work compared to slayer) Sure, I get your point, but really, slayer is pretty much useless. I have 65 slayer or so on my main, and it took quite a while, and I really have never "used" my slayer level. The drops that I got from getting slayer levels were less than mediocre as well. And if you want charms, well then I'm sure you can find a monster to train on that drops charms. I'm just saying, if you want fast xp, don't bother with slayer. If I could do it over again, the only reason I would level slayer is for total levels, and hell, I'd just level it to around 30 or so because after that the levels get incredibly slow. Slayer = 99 levels of your total level. If you plan on maxing all stats one day then it makes sense to train with the other combat stats. Once you hit higher combat and higher slayer then you make about 40-60k per task on average. This is before you count herbs, key parts, high value drops and the little you lose cannoning a few. Slayer is pretty cheap to train. Few pots and you're sorted. High slayer = respect. Slayer cape is awesome. High slayer means you will be first in line for the next "slayer" drop. I'm almost 95 slayer so as and when we get a 95 beast to kill for something better than the whip, I'm in for a serious payday. Thats the extreme example, but look at Dragon Boots, people made a fortune in the first week there. At the end of the day it is down to personal choice, however the vast majority of players will recommend slayer over camping at armoured zombies.

Well the amount of essence, and tokens you get depends on how you perform which isn't a factor you can gauge. Same with how many rounds per hour you can do. Therefore those figures are not easily guessed at. Seriously though, as nice as the tabs are, there are better methods.
  5. Well the max you can make in junk is 100k an hour with the maples so that's out. Seriously you cannot make that much cash daily in junk, it just isn't possible.
  6. None I believe. Lunar Diplomacy and Dream Mentor make it quicker but you can access it whenever. It will cost you 20 runes to bank each time though (180gp).
  7. answer to your question because i want the junk to sell some of my items and to also lend out my zgs and make a profit i lend for around 100k an hour and i play 4 - 5 hours on holidays thats 500k a day extra cash for me can anyone actualy answer a question lol? You say you make 4-5mil a day. Why would you want to pause this to make junk to earn to only 500k? There is no magic way to make millions in junk in a short space of time and that is why no-one can answer your question. You are better off lending for max trade you can and then going back to your 4-5mil a day method. Or lend it for free and make someones day :D
  8. I am currently 51, and i've heard laws through abyss are great money. Since i don't have 57 summoning, is rc'ing nats through the abyss still good exp/cash? Use abyss and if you are near law portal go there, near nat portal go there. It is still the same XP as it was previously, just Graahks blow it out the water. How much money could i make through this method crafting 6k nature runes and buying my pure essence? :? (Price of nature rune x 6000) - (6000 x cost of pure ess) Another question: Why is abyss being replaced by Graahk and regular nature crafting? Graahks are fast. You are looking at 2.8k per hour at 75+, or 5.6k per hour at 91. That's a lot of nature runes. Another option to you would be the ZMI altar. Probably the best way until you get 57 summoning.
  9. Children stop your bickering. As I have said before you cannot make junk unless you are lower levelled as otherwise it just isn't worth it. Why make maple longs (u) to 99 fletching when you can do it in a fraction of the time and still profit with yew longbows? Even pouches are not junk. You can trade them for shards for an instant saving on your summoning. Junk trading is all well and good if you have the actual junk, but if you havn't then it's simply not worth making.
  10. If you have ancients you can barrage rock lobsters. this gets you lots of mage and hitpoint XP as well as a load of crimson charms. It is costly though. Stringing ammies is a nice easy semi-afkable way.
  11. You cannot buy junk, you need to make it. However making junk is usually a very slow way to raise a skill. If you have a ZGS then I assume you can boss hunt, if so you will make better cash at the GWD.

    1. Too long. 2. Roughly 2.3-3.5k per hour at 75+ 3. Too long 4. Not a lot. Either use ZMI or nature craft with a Graak. all other ways are slow. Astrals are OK for a faster buck once you can do doubles but the XP will never be as good as Graaks.
  13. As people have said the max XP is locked in due to coding. To change it ruins everything. However they can (and have) softcode there way around it, as proved in WGS when you're stats get boosted to 200. Or by creating monsters with 2000hp. Theoretically those levels would require XP amounts not possible with the limitations currently in place.
  14. Do the fast slayer points method (Canifis Master taks 1-9 then Sumona for the 10th) until you have the rings and helm unlocked and most of your bans in place. Then Sumona. Once 100cb (f2p) go to Duradel. You can go to him with 100cb (p2p) but it is tougher as summoning levels mean nothing.
  15. Hit the nail on the head pre 57 or post 57 without using summons. You stick ur hosue in taverly and use a combination of house teletabs and ring of duelling for max speed Post 57 with pouches use a spirit kyatt(? might be garahk[sp?] i get them muddled) it teleports u a few steps from the obelisk ladder in piscatoris then you can run to bank or duel ring to cwars. Kyatt is Summoning, Graak is Runecrafting, Larupia is nub.
  16. Trouble with scouting for dragon imps is you get nothing for it. I found one, tracked it for 15 minutes until someone answered my forum post and caught it. He got 2 of something or other but didn't share. Kinda waste of my time.
  17. Agreed. A maxed main will kill any pure with ease if it was allowed too. More money in boss hunting anyway.
  18. They don't attack. Jagex got it wrong again.
  19. ZMI or Graak are the only 2 realistic options these days unless you have a load of runecrafting tabs. Laws are just too slow to warrant doing solo anymore, and since the demise of free trade fast free laws have ceased trading. Just make enough for personal use then stick to nats. Abyss is also an option, but again is slow XP compared to both ZMI and Graak.
  20. Use a War Tortoise. I wear weight losing gear and an air staff. Inven of Laws, Earths, Tinderbox, 2 marras, rest bones. All bones in familiar. This is just the right amount for the length of the burners. A few times the burners will die before I finish but it's only 1/20 if that.
  21. It always was. At 75rc it's about 2.8k natures an hour. That's 5.6k at 91.
  22. To be honest you should be able to skip them. 5 tasks at Duradel is 75 points and skip is 30. Even at Sumona you should have the points stacked to allow a skip. Best way to tackle slayer points is to use the Canifis master for tasks 1-9 then Duradel for the 10th. You will power through the tasks, won't need to skip any, and rack up the points. Make sure you keep 130 points in stores before buying anything. This will allow a block on the Duradel task if need be, and a further skip if required. The helm is the most important item to buy. Offers you greater training areas and boosted stats on a lot of tasks. The rings should come next, the teleports are nice. The fletching isn't a big deal, especially at your levels but it would be nice to have in case you need it in the future. I personally stopped doing the Canifis master thing after getting the rings. Once I had banned the other tasks I wanted to ban I waited until I had stored up enough to get fletching. After the always buy the runes. You make millions of extra gp this way. The XP is a pittance and not worth it.
  23. If you are slaying them for slayer. Don't. If you are slaying them outside of slayer, why with your stats? Get to GWD
  24. If you are cutting profitable trees then you can make your money back eventually. Depends how long you plan on woodcutting. Like someone said buy it and sell back, or rent someone elses. I have an Inferno Adze by the way, and it is the dogs dangly bits. Well worth all that time I spent firemaking (now I just have the last 35k maples to burn for 99)
  25. Can you use familiars there? If so Spirit Wolf and Howl scrolls.
