Star Hunting
Thanks for the guides. Life on Mars was better written and was more funny. Ashes to Ashes was more my era (I was born '81) and features the lovely Keeley Hawes in legwarmers \

Unholy Book.
Back in the day when pages were common in the early days of the GE most pages were worthless as the items they make are useless. The only book which is remotley useful is the Unholy Book and that's only for mage/ranging. I wouldn't bother with Sara/Guthix.

Cooking MOnkfish
They are not affected by the Gauntlets. Even at 99 cooking you will still burn Monkfish (all be it very rarely).

Kingdom Management - Yes another one of "those" topics.
1.) No you don't. Make sure you get it to 100% before claiming your reward though. 2.) Varies. Last I heard the best was full fax and 5 coal but I would assume this has changed. Someone really should make a spreadsheet 8-) As for the amount of cash you invest they take 10% of your coffers daily up to 75k. Therefore every day you need 750k in there to get max resources. However this then requires you to go back every day and replenish the 75k taken. I do it weekly, just after doing Tears Of Guthix, so I don't forget, so I need to add 7 days of 75k to the base amount of 750k. This is a coffers amount of 1.275mil and a weekly replenishment of 525k as the coffers will drop to 750k. However I strongly advise you sticking a couple of days extra in just in case you cannot get on. If you go away for 2 weeks, just add 75k per extra day your away. Also I will re-iterate that you do not need to get your favour up daily, just do it before you collect and you won't go wrong. Easiest thing to do is Fairy Ring CIP then mine the coal. As a side note you can change what you get, even a week later, so if the best spread does change within that week you can make the most of it. To do this say no to collecting your items now and then change the spread. Re-talk to him and say yes to collecting and you will get the newer stuff.

Summoning: Which pouches to keep?
The best way to raise summoning is to make the highest amount of XP giving pouch you can at your level then trade back for shards. Buy all the pouches you need. Why waste a blue on the Kyatt when you get far more XP for a Titan? You can buy most pouches fairly quickly on the GE.

A few questions
I don't know figures but Willows are better for XP, Yews for cash. I got my 80wc with mainly willows using a beaver for the boost. I would now use an Inferno Adze but I did use a dragon axe.

Star Hunting
Me too but the avatar is from Ashes to Ashes  It was 70's Gene, but I liked 80s Gene more. New series starts soon \

Star Hunting
OK so I need mining XP *grumbles* and have the proto pickaxe for double XP. Star Mining seems the way to go (social, semi-afkable) but I need some advice on star hunting and which clan is best. Ta

Fastest way to rune defender
All of you are doing it the long way. Best way is to use the OoogLoog pool for infinite run and use the shot putt. This is done from run energy, which depletes by 20ish every throw. However with infinite run, you will get it back. Just do this until it runs out and you will have loads of tokens. Wealth does help, it's classed as a rare drop from the cyclops.

whts better to wear?
I wear: Slayer Helm Fury Trimmed Skill Cape (Fire is better and easier to acheive, I'm just lazy) Whip Guthans Body Rune Defender Guthans Skirt Barrows Gloves Dragon Boots Warrior Ring Which is pretty effective. The Warrior Ring increases the accuracy of slash attacks making it better than the Berserker for use with a whip and at a fraction of the price. Dragon Boots are a must. Barrows gloves you can use rune gloves or the regen bracelet. Guthans offers great defense, not the best but the difference between the best is negligible, plus you then save inventory spaces when using full Guthans to heal. Also Barrows armour is cheap, the cost to repair isn't much, for every 11.25 hours of combat it cost me 100k. Thats nothing in the grand scheme of things. Fury can be swapped for a glory but Fury is noticabley different. It isn't like using a Torag plate instead of a Guthans one. +4 strength is better than +4 slash. And Guthan's plate and helm has the same stats as Torags; Guthan's chainskirt is 10 def points lower. 4 strength isn't much and only means you hit higher. 4 slash makes a difference and means you hit more. I prefer the Warrior with whip. As for Torag's my point is Guthans is superior as it allows you to heal. Take Torags along for extra defence if you like but you're wasting inventory space and it isn't as if the difference is that noticeable, especially with higher defence levels.

prayer help
Use the RSOF and search for "altar". People advertise there.

SGS or 90 pray?
Cash in the SGS. 90 prayer is better.

whts better to wear?
Torso is pretty meh tbh. Better off with Barrows. Glory should really be a fury. Rune defender is ftw Barrows legs slot but helm you want slayer helm if you are slaying, or helm of netiznot if you are not. I forget the best Barrow combi between legs and body but it's worth using Guthans. Then you can flick the spear/helm in to heal when needed.

Lunar Island
Or go the Ourinana altar on the ZMI world and get a free tele there \ I was really annoyed that there was no easier teleport to Lunar Isle with the Fremmy Diary, it's such a long trek atm.

Best way for me to obtain charms?
Just train slayer and you'll get a nice selection.

Iron Dragons.
I wouldn't go without super attack and strength.

Another Godsword Question
But it has it's negative points: Slower than a whip/defender combo. Sure it hits harder than a whip, but you can do 3 hits with a whip in 2 for a GS. You can't use a shield/defender. It's mega expensive. Couple that with the fact you can heal with Bunyip/Guthans on most monsters it's only real use is the prayer recharge which given it's price tag just isn't worth it.

Little Confused About Slayer
No it doesn't. Burthorping would give you a rubbish task, 43 desert lizards or something equally as bad which you couldn't skip. So you had to take less XP, and still do an annoying task just because you were not strong enough to take on steel dragons. Slayer points are so awesome. Firstly you get to select 4 tasks never to be recieved again. Secondly instead of burthorping, you can pay 30 points to skip, without it affecting your streak. Thirdly, once you have all the knowledge through points and have 4 tasks blocked you can keep a stash of 90 points for skipping tasks you don't feel like doing and then everything else you can put towards slayer dart runes. These soon add up and monthly I am trading them for almost 2mil's worth of runes, nice little bonus for the hardcore slayer. If you are struggling with slayer masters and points just use the Canifis master for 9 tasks and the 10th use your highest master. And after the 10th task ? Who should I go to? This won't get much XP, but the points will rack up, allowing you to buy knowledge very fast. Just make sure you leave enough points to perm block tasks as they appear. Well, when you argue so well Cat... Im Just lazy Sorry I wasn't that clear. Use the Canifis dude for tasks 1-9 as these are easiest tasks which count (The Burthorpe man/woman doesn't). On the 10th task use the highest you can. This will be Duradel/Lapalok if you are 100+ with 50 slayer or Summona otherwise. Then tasks 11-19 use the Canifis guy again and on the 20th Duradel/Lapalok or Summona again. 21-29 Canifis and 30th the highest one. To clarify this nets you fast points not XP. Most people suggest this method to power through getting the helm/rings/blocks and to build up a stash of points for future cancelling. Once you have them all bought though use your highest master all the way.

Another Godsword Question
I used Sara Sword for strength. In theory it's faster XP than any GS as it's the speed of a whip so if whip is better than a GS for training then SS could be too. For Bandos, I heard the best GS is the BGS as it provides immunity. I'm no expert, but I wouldn't waste the cash on the AGS, or SGS when you can easily suffice with the cheaper variants.

That's how I got to 99. This was long before the GE though so it may have changed.

Better Money
In my honest opinion, as a slayer, these drops should be obtainable on task only or at a reduced rate outside of task. This would bump up the price for the hardcore slayer and mean the monsters are not packed out with people killing outside of task. However, out of the 2, Abby Demons would net you the most profit over a longer period, whereas Mages will make you decent money pretty quickly. I would seriously consider joining a GWD clan though, that's where the serious money is, and once I hit 99 defense that's where I'm going to pay for 99 prayer/mage/summoning.

I wantttt Bandos!!!
Bandos is just for showing off. Stat wise Barrows is better and it's alos a lot cheaper. Sure Bandos has some strength bonuses, but it's not worth the price tag. EDIT - Barrows isn't that expensive to repair. Like Kent said, you'll only use the body and legs which takes the cost down a lot. Plus what are going to do with the armour? If you cannot make the repair costs and still have money spare then something is drastically wrong with your training methods. I train via slayer, and even without a "big" drop, I average 60-100k per task in coins and alched stuff. Using my armour stand the cost to me is about 100k for body and skirt at 25% the helm, weapon at 100% (Guthans)

Law runes & Death runes
Abyssal Familiars make little difference to the speed of the Graahk. Loading and offloading it makes it longer per trip too. That said if you are using the Abyss, then use an Abyssal familiar not a Terrorbird, super energies are cheap and you only need 1 dose per run if you dress smartly. The Graahk wins XP wise hands down as it is so fast. The only faster XP is the ZMI altar, but then the profit is minimal.
