An Unlikely Coincidence
I was reading somewhere about the Icyene and apparantly they used to live in Morytania before they were made extint by the Vampyres. I believe it was on the wiki but can't access it now from behind this firewall.

Well iron dragons :(
You're thinking too logically for Jagex again . . . metal dragons are resistant to EVERYTHING, it seems. They are weaker to mage apprarantly. I got from 87-90 mage there quite easily. Was using the fire blood spell (wave?)

RFD Final Fight
Pretty easy tbh. You can exit and restock after each "boss" so it is a piece of cake.

Quick question regarding pages...
I got mine on the second evening of release and it sold at max instantly.

Summers end - Inside the cave
Cut all the logs first. Every pyre you light makes the Beast hit harder/faster making it harder to cut more. I heard you can take willows with you and as you enter the spirit realm they go into the decayed version. Unsure if this is true. If you have the first few pyres lit then you have to suffer the nasty attack. Best way is to keep entering and leaving the cave per chop, as this resets the Beast.

first time for dark beasts
Melee them with prayer gear and melee prayer on. Whip cuts into them as they are weak to slash attacks and as such Warrior Ring works well too. They will always attack you so never attack them. If you do they will mage you once, maxing an 8. You will need full mourner gear to get to them. Best way to get these are to kill the lvl 111 mourners in the mourner HQ. They drop full mourner which doesn't need repairing every kill. I get a stash of them and then am free to drop them on task. To prolong trips use multiple BoB's and a summoning pot. Most tasks I suffice on 2 war tortoises and then 3 terrorbirds. I use 4 super sets (minus def) and take 4 prayer pot (4) per super set. Depending on task number you can drop these, though I advise always taking the BoB's and extra prayer pots, better safe than sorry. Nothing worse than having to bank with only 15 left to kill. I kill them in the "new" area which is just inside the cave and North up the passage. You can then duck into the passage to deal with randoms/change your BoB's.

90 slayer worth getting?
I agree with Kent. Slayer is perhaps the most respected skill in Runescape owing to the fact it is a combat related skill and slow to level and that alone is worth raising for some. A lot of people like to train efficiently, myself included. I would rather gather melee XP, charms and wealth through slayer, even though it isn't as fast XP or profitable as other methods. As for the original question, 90 is worth getting, but only from a slayer XP point of view. Dark Beasts are great XP but not worth camping at. In all honesty no slayer monsters are worth camping at for profit as you're better off at GWD these days. Plus it stands to reason Jagex will release a 95 slayer monster eventually, better to be ahead of the game surely

99 FM
Don't delude yourself into thinking it's that short. It is very very boring and you will need a break as it's constant work (unlike cooking). I've had 99 banked for about 6 months but just got bored of it, even saying I only need 2 hours a night for a month. I would get it to 80 then see how you feel about carrying about, certainly don't buy the supplies for 99 all at once.

99 FM
With maples at 42 you will rocket to the mid 80's. It's only after 86 that it becomes slow and boring. Best place to FM I found is the Ghost Port. Nice long lines there with few people to distract you and minimal lag. GE is a big no no. If you can do All Fired Up and the subsequent minigame then using the ring/gloves will make it quicker still.

Using whip?
That is so ignorant. Strength is the most important melee stat for general purpose combat. It's been proven. I do agree.

74-80 Hunter
Tried Red Chins but they are packed. Yeah the money would be nice but tbh I just want 80 fast. Tried black salamanders with some success (using Arctic Bear) but the trees are too far apart. People say red salamanders are fastest XP at any level. Is this true? Or any other suggestions (grey chins?)

Using whip?
If you get 99 attack and strength then you will be hitting "at max" to get 99 defence.

Where to max magic?
I did 88-90 there and it was OK. Too many green charms for my liking though.

26th November 2008 - While Guthix Sleeps
Since the update dragon plate *should* rise.

About Quest Requirements -
Rocking Out and While Guthix Sleeps are the only 2 which require the levels to start. To make it more confusing you cannot pot up for RO but you can for WGS.

Where to max magic?
Ice burst rock lobsters? Meant to be super fast mage XP and you get charms for use for summoning. Wee bit expensive though.

What is this area? Christmas event?
Looks like the bit from the holiday event where we got the puppets as a reward.

85+ on slayer: worth it?
Which is pointless as you lose out on slayer XP. Whip drops are rare these days (1/500) and only worth 1.5mil. Your better off sticking with slayer the full route. Or if it is only cash you're after, GWD. isnt gwd alot harder though? my main was mem and when i did armadyl the most profit i got (even with a nice clan) was the aviance drops of noted addy bars. I would think camping at abby demons would give more profit and their definitly easier to get to. GWD is better cash. Bandos/Zammy being favs for meleers. However I would stick to slayer, just not for profit.

quick cannon question?
It does flash up a warning before it degrades. I've missed it a few times. You can get a replacement, for free, from the Dwarf who sold it to you. (Dwarven Mine, upstairs, Eastern door). Just annoying having to trawl back across the map.

High alch value of ruined dragon armor pieces?
Don't try to sell with D'Hai or Elite, you'll get millions of trade offers for the D'Hai and Elite and none for the shard. I'm lucky I sold mine for the max it ever got. (So far) :D He means use the dragon piece as "junk" to bump up the price of the elite and dragon hai.

Using whip?
Miner are Frosty are both wrong  Seriously the order you level up is down to you and your preference. Attack effects how often you hit higher numbers Strength effects how high you hit Defense effects how often you get hit. Each has there own pros and cons. Personally I got all stats to 70 then trained in levels of 5, in order of strength, attack, defense. Once my stats were all 90 I then left defense and trained strength, attack again in levels of 5. This worked for me (and will for most people) as the standard armour/weapons boost attack and defense more than they do strength. For example I use Guthans body/skirt which offers brilliant defense along with healing capabilities meaning defense isn't as important. Whip and rune defender offers excellent attack bonuses meaning attack is covered. Warrior ring makes this even better. As for strength, the items which boost it a lot are severely overpriced, making them out of reach for the average player, meaning the best way to hit harder is via strength levels.

green dragons
CT, try to work with a slayer. You stop the greens getting him he stops the blacks getting you. I quite often "protect" green dragon slayers on tasks.
