  1. Pures are kinda pointless in this day and age. Just take the reward.
  2. Unicorn isn't great at these as you ideally want to be able to keep the mithril bars and bones. Using a War Tortoise/Pack Yak makes more sense as you will have room for the loot. Someone said they managed 14 kills. Thats 14 bones and 42 bars, lots of profit you really don't want to be throwing away. When I go (only for slayer) I manage about 8, but I only use whip/shield.
  3. The only charms really worth storing up are blues. Greens/golds give rubbish XP compared to blues/crimsons so use these whenever. Crimsons give good XP and are quite common so use these whenever too. Only thing I will say is use golds/greens first if you can before using these, but they are still common enough to use whenever. Blues are rare and give great XP therefore save these as long as you can. I wouldn't bother hunting for any charms other than crimsons outside of slayer. If you must get golds, Hellhounds are the best dropper per kill but Fire Giants are a little easier to kill. If you can get crimsons easy enough then get those.
  4. 2-3 hours. No harm in making multiple trips. For the tunnels wear light prayer boosting gear, Monks Robes, Lightness boots, penance gloves, spottier cape. Just bring a prayer pot or too and some super energy restores along with some lobsters for the falling rocks. Just be careful whilst on the Atoll and you will be fine there. Final fight may be tough, but prayer works there too.
  5. All skills 70+ is a sign of a well balanced player, 80+ if you can. I would personally get 138cb. Get some prayer and summoning XP even though you don't really want to train it. EDIT: I thought 70 prayer was enough then when I got it I wanted 80. Now I'm 80 I want it at 90...don't have the luxury of 120mil though :(
  6. Sorry had to go out. Glad you sorted it. Bit of a schoolboy error though :D
  7. Goats Horn Dust isn't easy to buy.
  8. Also if you can the artic bear is the best hunter boost you can get. Makes it a lot faster. I use the larupia for tele'ing there, and if I can be bothered I summon an arctic bear after my larupia has died. Most of the time I just log after the larupia dies and go do something in real life until I can do another herb run lol I charter to the Ogre place, bank there then take a dip in the Hunter pool. Summon my bear then hunt. Ooh. Does the pool stack with the invisible bonus of the bear or is it just a little extra bonus? I don't think it stacks, but it lets me lay 5 traps for a little bit as the boost is visible.

  10. Lag is caused by numerous things: Distance from your PC to the server. The number of "jumps" your PC has to make to the server. The number of people on the World The number of people in the vicinity you're in Your PC specs Your connection speed I live in England but find the Canadian servers are less laggy than the UK ones. Main reason is the UK ones are usually packed out.

  12. Take a screeny of your equipment and the place you are trying to do it.
  13. Stick with leeches unless you can get the goat horn easily.
  14. When I used to get them for a Burthorpe'd task I used to go the whole task without getting poisoned. 9/10 they'd be one hit KO'd and on the 1/10 there hits never used to get through my defence. From what I recall they drop all the ingredients for anti-pots anyway so you can always chance it without pots :P I'd bring a super anti though.
  15. The XP you get is per bar, not per item. So if an item uses one bar you get say 50XP, but if it uses 2 bars you get 100XP. Therefore it is faster to smith larger items (plates being the best) and there is no loss of XP. The only difference may be profit.
  16. You are right they don't drop ranarr seeds. Only irit+
  17. Cave Crawlers are a piece of cake. Bring a couple of super anti's just in case but they die fast.
  18. Yes but I don't advise it, use the official world.
  19. Few outside the slayer tower in Canifis too.
  20. Yeah strength is better to raise first. You can use a SS though, so just buy/loan one of those as it puts the dragon scimmy to shame.
  21. Bit confused as to where you are. If you have done it all then the "back" door will be open which is accessible from the death altar (use Abyss of death teletab) although I am unsure if this is accessible before completing the quest, it should be as you already have access to the Elven lands. If you have neither door open then your kinda screwed. EDIT: Next time just wear prayer gear and pro melee. They won't hit you at all.
  22. Abby Spectres are good herb/seed droppers. If you're rich then cannon Dags in the Lighthouse Dungeon. I get a fair bit from them.
  23. They drop junk and are not worth camping at if that's what your asking for. However they are not hard to kill and if you get them for slayer don't skip them. Wear Karils and you won't get hit much. They drop bones so you can use bones to peaches, or stick mage prayer on and Guthans to health. Bunyip works too.
  24. Mithril plates with alch runes is a lot faster once you can make plates.
  25. You don't need to do all of Fairy Tale pt 2 to unlock the rings. You certainly don't need the herblore level. Pyrefiends next door. They never hit much so it's quite effective as it's only 2-3 runs to Pyrefiends per task. TBH I don't get Basilisks anymore though and If I did I'm sure a Bunyip would eliminate the need for Guthans.
