Like I said it's approx at that fungus thing where the aggro line is, approx 10-15 squares of OK space. Also there is no East-West zone, it's just North-South. You only need suffer the dogs for 20 mins then. Another handy tip whilst they are aggro is to not kill a demon and then move to an empty demon blocking the dogs with the empty demon. Do the finishing blow to the first demon, and the 2nd one will then attack you, rather than a dog.

you mean 12hp? 12 hp, but it gives half of a pot, therefore it gives 24 hp. No each dose heals 6HP so 2 doses heal 12HP. Barbarian potions only come in 2 doses so thats 12HP per inventory slot.

Just use Brimhaven. As you go up the stairs stay in that area. Theres a fungus thing, never go South of that. You'll have 2 demons in the area and a 3rd who wanders in occasionally (can lure with arrows if you so choose). After 15-20 minutes they all go non-aggro and as long as you don't go too far South the rest of the task is a breeze. Or get 127 combat to stop the dogs attacking.

lol no I won't be I was just pondering the XP and profit margin with higher ores. If it is faster and/or cheaper to smith addy plates and buy the bars then I will do that. I won't be smithing addy plates for a long time. 80 is more than high enough for the time being, wanna concetrate on slayer/melee/summoning/prayer.

To F2P, the quest is part of the holiday. Don't call people stupid and overlook the bulk of them please? I never said the quest wasn't part of the holiday. I said the quest wasn't part of the event. I said people saying the event had an amazing reward because of the xp, cat, broom and outfit were stupid because only the outfit is the reward for the event. Equally for the f2p view point the quest reward ain't exactly brilliant. The main high points of the quest reward are the mage xp and purple cats. Since f2p can't get cats and can't get any of the enchantments they receive neither of these boons. Though the 10 genie xp style doses of the soup is no doubt useful to them. My argument still entirely stands regardless of p2p or f2p status that only the warlock/witch outfit count as the event reward as the rest is the quest reward. Allright Paw Claw, that's your opinion. And when I look at this year's Hallowe'en your way I quite agree, but I choose to look at it as more fun more diverse that former years. Besides, in your summary a few posts back you forgot to mention that we all (f2p included) got a really snazzy emote \ Clothing and emotes are pointless. Sure it's nice to look good sometimes, but if it has no stats then I couldn't care less. I never wear my mime, camo, skeleton etc. As for emotes, what purpose do they really serve? Even skillcape emotes are pointless. So the actual "old style" event failed. However in adding in the quest and XP rewards they have made my style of player a lot happier.

Yes bolts/knives are better for profit but plates are much faster to smith. I make my own nats so still profit a bit, plus I get mage XP. Mithril isn't the issue, I was wondering about smithing addy/rune and whether you can speed it up a bit more.

Currently getting to 80 smithing via mithril plates and alching. However for future knowledge is it worth using the Blast Furnace for Addy+ and if so what are the methods as you'd need to bank. Ta

I used to get about 130-140k XP an hour with maples. Will probably be a bit more now as I have the ring/gloves from All Fired Up. TBH firemaking levels fly by, however it gets boring fast. I only have about 36k more logs to go to 99 but the thought of lighting fires is putting me off as I need to give it 100% attention.

I would suggest farming in between another skill. Fletching is ideal for this. Basically do a tree run daily, then an allotment and/or herb run whenever you can. After the allotment run fletch in bank. If you use an Ammy of Nature you can be alerted when the first patch is ready and stop fletching to do another allotment run. This worked quite well for me, and if you sell herbs then you're laughing. Doesn't work quite so well for slayer though :( I find it very useful while Slaying as well. Just remember how long each task approximetely takes. Swapping into farming gear / slayer gear is too much hassle. Plus if the ranarr/snapdragon which I'm using ammy of nature on gets diseased I have to stop slaying to go fix it, probably wasting a super pot and a bit of the bunyip's heal. Plus you have that one less inventory space for the ammy of nature as you'd want to be wearing a fury /salve(e). I can't imagine farming now without a Terrorbird so thats another Bunyip.. I guess it's preference.

Now I'm an old skool metal fan. You can't beat the 80's in my opinion. However Trivium have produced what could easily be metal album of the year. It literally 's all over Metallica's - Death Magnetic. Matt Heafy's voice is incredible.

Go for all stats 80+ but work on 99's as well. Currently I'm maxing my melee, then prayer/summoning but also getting the others to 80+ in between.

Jagex got it spot on this year. The quest made all the difference as it gave it all a bit of a purpose. So people like me, who don't like doing stuff for no XP found it much more enjoyable. The fact the quest had no requirements and was open to everyone made no difference, I still got a QP, 20k mage XP and 7.2k construction XP. Plus they catered for the F2P/P2P divide nicely. P2P got all that extra XP and the teleport whilst F2P still got an extra "holiday item" which they can enchant further should they go P2P in future. The trick or treating was old style holiday event and a bit boring as it was just lame holiday clothing reward, but it was so short it didn't really matter. All in all I was very impressed this year and only hope future holidays are celebrated in a similar way.

Sound to me as if you want an untrimmed cape. Seriously don't bother. Your forever going to be unable to get more than one stat 99 as any subsequent 99's automatically trim the first. I'd rather have all 99 melee stats and 99 slayer.

If during Temple of Ikov you sided with the Guardians, then you will get this. If, like me, you sided with Lucien then you won't. Basically it's Jagex doing some housekeeping for the new uber quest. Lucien obviously needs to have the staff in his possesion otherwise it's going to screw up the storyline, and the people who did side with the Guardians would have been like "omg how did Lucien get the staff!". This effectivley allows Lucien to have the staff, whatever path you chose.

I agree. This was broadcast last Saturday and was available for podcast for almost a week. No complaints until almost a week later. I'd wager 88% of the complaints are from people jumping on the bandwagon as they don't like Russell or Jonathan. People are saying they are a waste of license payers money. What they fail to realise is some people do like them. I loathe soaps, period dramas, AutumnWatch and Strictly Come Dancing so does that make them a waste of license payers money too? Has anyone actually seen the pictures of Georgina Baillie? She's a self-proclaimed "Satanic [bleep]" and was obviously well aware of Russell's reputation as a lover. She is also a burlesque dancer so should have been prepared for her sordid life to be made public, especially because of who her Grandad is. They'd all be level 99 >.>. Maybe not. You can smith all rune at 99 smithing but thats all you need. If Jagex added a second requirement to smith dragon, they could then start it from 85+. For example: * Dragon ore could require 90 mining to mine, and be untradeable. * Dragon bars could be a rare, maybe untradeable drop from Adament/Rune dragons. * Dragon items can only be smithed after each stage of the Uber Quest. Dagger with 1 part complete, longsword for 4 parts complete...dragon plate for all 10 (11 if boss fight like RFD). Personally I like the idea of them being a quest thing, after all dragon items used to be quest rewards. Makes sense too with all the clues given.
