  1. While I am not a fan of the system itself, (it is ludicrous if you ask me.) I don't believe it is anything to worry about and I feel reassured that we are due to go on the Platinum list and that their is nothing 'wrong' with us. It makes me wonder, why in good heavens RuneHQ are on the Platinum list, considering it is filled with non-RuneScape gaming advertisements. I also question their advertisement censorship methods in general. But other then that, is there much point to caring? It's good we can still say Tipit in-game and we will still get some sort of prizes for competitions. I suppose its some benefit for us, in strange-small subtle ways. As for the rest of it, I have the full utmost confidence in our Administrative Team, they are not ones to let their community which they are so passionate about to fall into depths of doomsday predictions of the Slippery Slope effect. I'm not going to worry, I was a bit annoyed at the start but after being able to look at other replies there is definitely nothing to worry about. The system has flaws some may wish to take into account, but I don't see much effort worth putting into it.
  2. Simply repugnant.
  3. Thanks. :D I hope all staff enjoyed my messages from me to them. :)
  4. "...watching the meerkats go about their work, digging for no apparent reason and having 2 of the meerkats on Sentry Duty" These Meerkats have my approval. I bet you were thinking of me there, weren't you? :P
  5. I am not one to usually disagree with Jagex's ways, but for once I actually am, I am agreeing with you all. It's a strange act of censorship and I don't believe Jagex should have any control over any other sites bar their own. I don't understand, why do Jagex fuss over us for having bad advertisements that 'might' take away people from RuneScape, when in-fact myself and a friend witness World of Warcraft adverts on the RuneScape website? With all due respect Jagex, but thats a bit hypocritical if you ask me. It's not like they are going to lose people to the lights of Ebony, a game where you most likely click once, go "What...?" and head back to RuneScape.
  6. From a point of view of someone who has very little experience in the PK Clan views, (Perhaps Skilling clans, but of course that isn't classified as the same.) I found that to be an excellent read. I was never aware of how much diplomacy is involved in clans and how the general concept can go pear-shaped. :P This Crash War, while I do think on one side, perhaps people should have a little bit more respect and know when to stop the crashing but I believe it is good on the flip side, this prepares Clans to be more paranoid (in a good way), to expect the worst possible situation and be ready for crashers which builds Clan members tactics, at least it seems that it would. But I still don't see why Clan Leaders can't discuss it with each other to make an agreement to stop the crashing, perhaps it is fun but is it building relations with other clans? There is always room for fun events to be arranged where everyone can join in and mess about in low level amour. But hey, what do I know, I never been in a player killing clan. :P I'm glad to hear DDoSing is on the slow down, as its a petty excuse to do anything, RuneScape, out of game or anything and I wish people would have a bit more respect for each other, it IS only a game after all. The improvements for Clans seem to be linking a lot to this weeks Times, I would like to see Clan Halls stuff and the like. The things Jagex can make which we can't, I think we are set for communication. More In-game stuff which would help, not replace anything that is already fine. Great article and kudos to the Clan Chronicle team I look forward to the next one. :)
  7. Welcome newbies, welcome to Tip.it forums! We love your company.
  8. Same here, really can't wait to see all the wonderful works by the people who participated. And it seems I'm getting more dirty looks from staff then usual since I sent in my own entry, I love it. :P
  9. *Looks at Blastoise avatar/signature* I see what you did there. It was fun, especially trying to assure Sentry_Wolf that nothing was planned for April Fools when he noticed the pokemon being posted. A few wet blankets, but you can't please everyone! Of course I knew you Noob. :P I even said I guessed that there was going to be a scavenger hunt. XD P.S, I had to laugh at Laikrobs post. :P Also, Fosakenmage, don't hate me when you see you and Necromagus on my entry.
  10. Sent my entry in! I have a fair idea as to where Das's Mudkip is hiding, I just don't have the time to look for it properly. :P
  11. That was the best april fools ever! I had soooo much fun, thanks staff <3.
  12. *Sticks hands in Darkdude's pants* Back off, he's mine  What is this? Are you *actually* two-timing Kill_Life, Rachael Racheya Cheese Lady? This is... I don't even...?
  13. Picture almost done here too, just need the last few people to post theirs. :(
  14. Got all the pictures that are out so far, stalking the remaining people in anticipation for them. ;)
  15. Pika-tips > all! :) But still gave me a smirk. :P
  16. This is obviously a coming-on-to Dassle. I think Shahdie wants to be Misses Das Forum Admin. What do you say Das, do you dare run away from Valerie and Laikrob?
  17. Lol at above. :P I enjoyed the last few episode's immensely, it was brilliant (in my opinion at least) to see Richard(o)'s background story, I thought it was really interested and good to see we got some mysteries peeled about the ship, the statue, Richards gift and how he got there ect. This weeks was excellent and for the sake of not spoiling it for anyone else: [spoiler=Spoiler of this weeks episode:] That was Desmond, wasn't it? :P Assuming it was him at the end staring into the now freak of a Syaid (spelling! :P) eyes, I'm guessing that 'the package' being Desmond has something to do with the way he is 'special' (according to the now deceased Daniel Faraday.) and that the rules don't apply to him, perhaps that was only for time-travel but I'm nearly sure it will play a part. Maybe he'll be able to kill Locke/Smokey? Also liking the way Widmore is now the good guy, dunno why. XD I was thrown off by the fact when Sawyer asked Locke that he didn't just 'fly himself over to the other island' by changing into the Piller of Smoke, is it like something to do with he can only change at certain times? Only when theres fear or something? I could just be plucking at straws that don't exist. All very exciting though. :P
  18. I thought January was a pretty decent month. :P All the others, despite this sudden urge from a lot of people for 'high level content', I have to agree with some thoughts that have been echoed through the posts, not everyone is a high level and Jagex can't be catering to them all the time, the other players deserve something they can do. (I do know of lower leveled people who were absolutely thrilled with recent updates as they could participate in them, they enjoyed them too!) Plus the way I see it personally, I think as the year passes, we are gradually building up in the requirements of quests and new content, it reset after January. We are back to the low leveled updates and over the year we will see more and more difficult content. (I can't really remember the start of last year, but it kind of had a similar pattern didn't it?) Plus we have a new skill coming out soon, which should keep us very busy. Until then, even though I don't have as much time to play I have plenty of tasks to complete to keep me occupied, I can only see someone having reason to'demand' content is when they have 200M XP in all skills. XD You just have to look around and get out of your comfort zone to try something new in RS, to keep you busy. :P
  19. The 2nd article had me in fits of giggles, the mind of our characters are sure in-depth. :P
  20. Congratulations on your first 99, I'm envious as its quite the fabulous 99 to have - well done. :)
  21. I agree to this, even though I am not one who has got his posts removed in the past or broken any rules, but I would be nearly terrified to visit Tip.it if I had to be mega-careful on what I post (freedom of speech after-all. :P) as much as I detest trolls - I don't believe Tip.it needs to be labeled the "Troll Pesticide", while sometimes I do believe someone with a bad history should be given slightly less tolerance, we all deserve second chances - providing we are willing to take these chances when we are given the opportunity. And it is right to say - we don't know what goes on in terms of 'punishment', perhaps people are permanent banned or let off Scott-free when a post is removed, I don't see how anyone could know outside a Moderator or Administrator.
  22. My Player owned house, it has become a major part of my 'scaping and how much time (and effort :P) I have put into it! I wouldn't trade it for anything. <3: Secondly, my agility outfit - agility cape, blue skimpy short shorts, short top and moon clan sandals, although rather bizarre they are a vivid part of my RuneScape playtime and all the fantastic memories with friends and experiences with them. Makes me feel very nostalgic wearing the outfit.
  23. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. :P
  24. Most of them, yes. ;) They are a fun activity to celebrate the holiday - Runescape style. While I would find the rewards more of an 'extra'. I really enjoy the storylines and graphical spectaculars they conjure up. Halloween and Christmas recently in particular and I for you cannot *wait* to see what lies in store for Easter. I do wish I was around for the really old events back from 06 and so forth, I would love Easter Bunny Ears, a rubber chicken (<3:), easter ring and all the sorts that I would of loved to experience - but other then that I can't complain.
