  1. Instead of being able to buy Skill Capes in F2P, I'd rather see Skill Capes usable in F2P. A non-member would still need to pay for a one off membership but then he can equip/re-equip that cape in non-member worlds as much as he wants. Forcing people to pay £3.50 for membership, it is forcing you into RWT with JAGEX to get a cape, thus breaking one of JAGEX's rules. That idea has been suggested so many times already, it is actually only a few posts up. And it has been argued many times that it is not RWT. Answer this: What is the difference between buying membership for members content and buying membership for a skill cape, which is members content? Um, and this whole usable/wearable skill capes in F2P world is actually my idea, so come check out my suggestion thread. Here's the link: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=752642
  2. New update from the MMG Q&A on his position on F2P skillcapes. It was on one of the later pages, so I missed it.
  3. It's not lifetime. Probably just a year.
  4. I'll subscribe to you. :P Just ask if you need any help.

  6. It's not ridiculous. You may belittle the skill cape, but, to many others, it is a highly sought-after item. When they first came out, skill capes were one of the reasons why cooking and fletching became much less profitable than they once were. It's not hard to imagine an F2P player buying a card from 7-11 and grabbing a skill cape or going for 99 hunter or fletching in a month's time. They might even try out some of the members features for a little bit. This is what I did. However, I see myself mainly as an F2P player and I'm sure some people have done it as well.
  7. I did exactly that, but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy a little castle wars along with it. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=752642 I've had that idea for about a year now. perfetc, Full F2P access to skill capes would be great; it would solve a lot of problems that my suggestion would solve. However, as you have seen, there is still a lot of opposition to full access. Jagex might not be willing to give skill capes to F2P just because the small percentage of F2P with 99's have parents that won't buy them membership.
  8. This is exactly what I've been saying. perfetc, There is nothing wrong with buying membership and using it the way you want to. You must have misunderstood that.
  9. Then what is Jagex doing, offering membership in the first place? Besides, many people buy membership just to get capes already. I find it very hard to belive that the only reason people get membership is just for the cape. JAGEX offer p2p so they can make more money and if the people enjoyed the game then they have the option of getting the expansion for it, which includes 1,000s of extra's on top of some crappy, over rated cape and is only slightly improved when it is trimmed which add's +4 prayer on it (incase you didn't know). They could have atleast made it as good as the fire cape stats wise. Well, I did it. : I was mainly responding to your statement that it was RWT. Why not allow the small $6-7 charge for the skill cape?

  11. It's just an innocent little poll... I doubt that Jagex would consider making a movie.
  12. Why not just make the skill capes unbuyable in F2P, but keep them wearable? We wouldn't have to move the skill tutors, which many of the cape-sellers are.
  13. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=752642 Make skillcapes wearable in F2P. Everybody wins.
  14. I'd like to know that as well. The grand exchange database on the Runescape Website. Some people could see them, and others couldn't. I guess I'm one of those who can't. :| Yeah, the old icons show up for me instead of the new ones.
  15. Disruptive spamming can be reported as offensive language.
  16. I second that! The other guy was a lot worse tbh.
  17. Have you posted this on RSOF yet? Seems your Total EXP is high enough for you to access the Forums. The other thread seems to have been eaten by the Page-51 monster :( This is so simple and yet so effective it just has to be added to the game. :D Sure. I'll have to check if any other threads about this are there first. My other RSOF thread is doing well, so I guess I could manage another one. Edit: Here's the QFC: 83-84-132-59225246
  18. I thought I read that Jagex would detect price manipulation and fix prices back to compensate when the GE first came out.
  19. Can I get a list of Musician locations?
  20. Eh, agility is my highest member skill, but I'm not complainin'. :) I'll go check out all the updates now.
  21. I'm all for giving F2P complete access to skill capes. However, it might be too sudden if Jagex did that. Here's something I said regarding this topic from the RSOF thread:
