For 17, I'd say Redridge Mountains or Loch Modan, after finishing off any of the quests in Westfall/Darkshore you can find. And your friends right, most of the armour from vendors is Common junk and the AH is usually way overpriced. Quests and dungeons is where it's at. @Jaziek, same thing happened to me. Came back after a couple of months break to find my account with an authenticator and no characters. D: Got the Authenticator off and the characters back (never got the gear back) and then decided to restart when Cataclysm comes out, if I decide to play again.

I like Cherry Coke, and I've been told it tastes like Dr. Pepper. They don't sell Dr. Pepper anywhere around here, though, so I've never tasted it. D:

Talking to characters in Bethesda games has always creeped me out. They just... stand there. I'm playing Heart Gold. Thnnn nostalgia. Also, Trillby's Notes, a game made by Yahtzee, which is pretty creepy. And Batman Arkham Asylum is on its way, too. So yeah, I've got stuff to look forward to. :3

I'd say the GOTY version, but get it on the PC if at all possible. I can't remember the second expansion, but Shivering Isles was awesome.

I spend most of my time pub-heroing it up in FFA matches with my Knives kit. Extreme Conditioning and P90 makes me feel like some kind of witch doctor from the Matrix. With a knife. It's depressing that there's really only one non-HC FFA server in Aus/NZ that's consistently full, though the upside is that I can just hear the squeals of terror when I join the server and proceed to disembowel everybody. I tried using guns in a match last night, and I'm pleased to say they're still as easy as hell, even though I haven't used a weapon kit in months.

Fascination, by Aesop Rock. Into The Best of Times, by Sage Francis. I can't pick the best rapper. D: I like the beats in Aesop Rock's songs, but Sage's lyrics are usually more engaging than Aesop's. They need to collab. Srsly. And the album would have to be co-produced by Blockhead and Ant. That would be orgasmic.

Reading a couple of webcomic archives. Namely El Goonish Shive and Least I Could Do. I really should do these sometime during the day, I need to get my sleep schedule vaguely back on track. School starts next Wednesday. Fffuuu.

I quit Netherwing grinding when I hit revered. It was almost physically painful for me to keep doing those dailies. Those quests and SMV in general just make me want to strangle a kitten. Nether Rays from Shatari Skyguard are probably my favourite OL mount, 'cept for the Phoenix obviously, which I would kill for. And they came with an awesome transformation trinket. I seem to come across those kinds of trinkets a lot. Got the faction-switching one and the Arakkoa one on my Paladin, the Belf one on my Tauren, and the Furbolg one on my Gnome. xD And it's only the one ZG mount, unfortunately. I'd swap it for the tiger instantly. The Tiger is so cool. o_o

But since this is the ass-end of the expansion, raiding won't be as rampant and the raiders usually will be a lot more pissy over gear requirements and experience. And there'll really only be 4 raids running regularly (ICC, VoA, TotC, RS). Just remember that if you think that raiding sucks. ;P And yeah, achievement hunting is pretty fun. Getting Well Read was awesome, pretty much travelled all over the world for it, as well as into all the capitals. Also, ley, I'm so jealous. : ( I think I ran UP pretty much everyday, whenever I could, and I only saw it drop once. And of course I lost. I've exhausted all my mount luck in getting Midnight and the ZG Raptor. D:

That reminds me of the episode of Family Guy where Peter starts filming the plastic bag, a la American Beauty (I think?), and God yells at him. :3 Kind of related, people who act superior because they don't watch television. It's not even a very good reason to feel superior about.
