Got my first Nigerian bank scam e-mail today. I feel so happy. His name was Mr. Jacobs Salami. I'm going to be rich! :3
  2. Umbrella, by the Baseballs. Elvis-esque cover of the Rihanna song. Is v. awesome. :3
  3. Nuclear Attack, by Sabaton. In anticipation of their new album, Coat of Arms.

Maybe if a v. hefty guy was playing over an old mineshaft.

It's... not. Started work today. It's pretty easy, and pays well, and isn't too long. Whee. :3
  6. I just finished Tallow, by Karen Brooks. Pretty good book, the first in a series, the next of which doesn't come out until next year. ;_; Reading some old Terry Pratchett novels for nostalgia, just finished Thief of Time and Hogfather, they're still as awesome as ever. Also read To Ride Hell's Chasm, by Janny Wurts, which was interesting. About halfway through The Throat, by Peter Straub, pretty good so far. Also starting on Domes of Fire, by David Eddings, the Bachman Books, and Confessions of an Economic Hitman. Also, a pretty cool biography to read, if anyone's interested: Don't Tell Mum I Work On The Rigs, She Thinks I'm A Piano Player In A Whorehouse, by Paul Carter. About a guy who worked in the oil rig business (duh). More interesting than it sounds, and hilarious at some points. Sadface at others. D:
  7. My sister is a barista (I think that's the name, they basically make fancy coffee) and she has this really awesome coffee making machine thing at home which she taught me to use, so I usually start my mornings off with a lovely cup of coffee. :3 If I need a quick boost of energy before sports/working out or whatever, I usually grab an Orange Mother or Samedi from the servo. But I really prefer coffee. :3
  8. Little Houdini, by Sage Francis. Probably my favourite song off his new album. :3
  9. 1. Warcraft 2. Diablo 3. Half-Life 4. Command and Conquer 5. Thief 6. Silent Hill 7. System Shock 8. Zelda 9. Timesplitters 10. Pokemon I think that's pretty much my list.
  10. Sage Francis' new album is out, Li(f)e. Check it out, it's pretty awesome. :3 Quite fond of Little Houdini and Slow Man off it, though everything on is listenable. I prefer some of his older, louder stuff. I think he raps better with heavier beats. I'd post some YT links, but I'm shaped. :<
  11. Down With Bane, by Shael Riley. Nerdout music. :3
  12. Confession - I promise people my soul in return for getting me seconds at lunch. Eternal damnation for a chicken burger? Awesome. Regret - Getting mah net shaped by dl'ing KotoR when it doesn't work on Vista. ;_; Secret - Uh I'm drinking a creaming soda at 12:10am. /slaps self
  13. Pfft. If it doesn't mention dragons at least five times in the lyrics, it's not real power metal. >_>
  14. Just a heads up. If anyone wants to buy a real cheap mindless shoot-'em-up kinda game, head to Steam and pick up Beat Hazard. It's $10US. It's like an arcade shooter, similar to Asteroids, etc, but the enemies that spawn/your weaponry/other things is customised to your songs, like in Audiosurf. It's an awesome time-killer, pretty challenging when [cabbage]'s flying everywhere, and the graphics looks soooooo shiny. Langzor away!
  15. I still play CSS now and then, but, since I'm a boring person, it's usually Dust/Office 24/7, with some Surf and Jailbreak if I'm playing with friends. That's the thing I like about FPSs, they never change. :3
  16. Do they still have that grey-haired Asian lady? She's my favourite news person, if it's not weird to have one of those.

Sitting down in a comfy chair after a day spent almost entirely standing and carrying heavy boxes and furniture is some kind of sheer bliss. Especially if it recliiiiiiiines.

  23. Broadside, by Captain Dan and the Scurvy Crew. A rap battle between the British Navy and pirates? Hells yeah. Intooooo Chests O' Plenty, by ^^ Yeah not treasure chests. The kind possessed by wenches. In large amounts. Yeah.
