Not really. If Game Freak didnt screw with attacks and make everything overly powerful, there would be more reliance on defence than attacking and stealth rock + defence on SR.

RoW sucks. And the abilities of the other rings make doing things easier. For slaying i find getting tasks done faster and having time to make money some other way a good option. Also when grinding you rather have items that increase attack/str/def to increase exp/hr and staying time. But if you like you can use the RoW. I just don't like it. Anything that gives me a better chance of a drop I'll use, I need the money >.> But me? Grinding? Hah.

As I said, the more wanted pouches, like Bunyips, Titans, Tbirds, etc will be in demand, generally making charms cost more than normal. It would be nice to have them "buyable" but not "tradeable" in other ways than SW. Maybe Pikkupstix on a Taverley (Seers? Fally?) A.D level 3 can sell you like, 3 blue charms a day? Maybe 5 crimson? 8 green? 15 gold?

Well, attack/str/def get remarkably better after every level, each level actually does something. One fishing level will help you collect one shark every minute?

Doubles teams or singles team? Regigigas is NU or UU according to Smogon so it's playable everywhere. If you have a trick room team, GET URSARING :twss: Trick room teams are a bit.. hard to use though
