  1. Note that Slayer isnt the best boredom breaker. Especially with bad tasks. Everything in runescape becomes boring as soon as you do it enough.
  2. That reminds me to PM Kent a little thing. Thanks for the reminder  @T bird. Imo you should bring a summoning potion and a tbird to every task if you have to bank because of a full inventory. You never know - Tbird lasts for a long time and can do some very low damage which can rack up. But use a bunyip or combat familiar until you have the need of more bank space, then flip the Tbird out and put in your LOWEST costly items. Just incase you somehow take a while and your Tbird runs out without you noticing. (Wont happen dont worry.) Also because it can only hold a limit of Geepeez.
  3. Old ancient old ancient ancient old old old console. BUT GAMES RULED. I sold mine. I sorta needed the money :?
  4. ^ = big yes. It depends if you're going to be a member for only a while. If you are I'd take benifits of the epic awesome ways to train F2P skills that Members has to offer. If you're going to be for a long time may as well train member skills. Before mems you shouldnt really raise much more than your runecrafting, which is much better in members anyway, fishing, and woodcutting (5). I'd also say getting 60 defence aswell as 43 pray minimum for the protection prayers, but I still advise getting these up in members.
  5. Well from what I've heard, my friend \ only use a combat familiar in MULTI combat areas (obviously), only if you have guthans/sgs though. Bunyip all the way to Unicorn unless you can Fruit Bat and pick up the food. Other than that, Jelly is the first good combat fam at 55, only cause of its special. Next best is any of the hunter familiars - I think the Kyatt or Graahk hit 2/3 times if they're called into battle? Then the almight Karamauthauhtuhalaluaua Overlord. EPIC. Other than those I have no idea.
  6. ^ I find it hard to believe they hit as high as addy. I hit the same with mith, and my max so far is the same with both. And I'm sure addy would hit 1-2 higher. :?
  7. Go PvP worlds with an addy/mith scim and full steel, + say black boots and mithril gloves plus power ammy Lawl. Nah seriously I find it fun to do boring skills. I always find killing hard-to-kill things fun

Roflmaol Ask them if I can use their TV for my Wii? :? Btw, KFC dp and you work at Maccas. 8-) Any real info on the next SSB installment?
  9. They are ~59gp each, hit as much as mithril bolts (~73gp ea) just slightly less often Apparently*

Gosh this thread makes me want wifi so much more. Anyone know how much I have to bribe McDonalds to let them use their TV with my Wii and their WiFi? :XD:    By the time i get WiFi this game will be out of fashion. :wall: Note: Somehow last night I lost my groove with falcon.. I broke my good controller and tilting up doesnt work well so I have to use my crappy one with no cover on the joystick. I dont think that works well either. I keep FALCON PAUNCHING when i'm meant to FALCON DAIVING.

Kc, the game is a literal gamble, and if people are too sooky because they cant win a tournament because of a hazard, (which are SO easily avoided) they should really just try the stage a few times themselves. And imo Norfair is the ONLY stage I think should be banned. I honestly glitched someone through the door when I tilted them.
  12. There's 2 there, one I forgot and the other is about the Whip v GS. I dont remember where but I think its under something like equipment. Either way it's really on yourself. If you have a nice attack and strength level, either work, even though the whip is much better in means of fighting in general; any godsword can be used for a low-defence slayer monster. (I'd love to use a GS on bloodvelds. Not many shields really help on magic defence anyway) Imo Kent to make the guide slightly better make a list of Ring of life / Ring of wealth tasks. Ones where you can die quick if you lag and dont prayflick or run out, and ones where their attack is so low you honestly need nothing but a better item to allow the drops to be nice. @ Steel dragons. Make a guide - seriously. The guide would only be like 5 lines long. Only decent way to kill these is by magic (fire bolt). It's really the only one that costs money, yet can give epic rewards. Plus, if you give people a way to kill these then I assure you, people will thank you.. eventually. Here's my example: Wearing your best MAGIC ATTACKING GEAR, with a decent staff (either air or fire is usually best), a glory or fury necklace, along with infinity boots, and chaos gauntlets, (DO NOT FORGET ANTI DRAGONFIRE SHIELD), These should be extremely easy to kill - The best thing to bring is a load of antifire potions with maybe ~4 monkfish (or higher) food. This is one of the only tasks where magic is one of the better solutions. My friend got an easy 1.1m task there. Almost every one he's had he's gotten a dragon item.
  13. Dang. I really did like this guide. And for scarabite slayer tasks, in the swamp east of Sophanem, just where the scarabites are you can go across a river and range them from there. It's not the best of safes due to low amounts there, and un-ava'able spots, but its better than getting hit all the time. They sometimes drop well o.o

@the pokeball and assist trophy post; I dont mind items but it is a huge change - these are usually hard to avoid whereas 90% of the stages hazards are avoidable easily. The game is a gamble, it was kinda made like that for a reason and people go out and call it too easy to win due to hazards. And imo, if your opponent knocks you into the Chimera on NPC, they have skill. Same with [bleep]e into brinstar liquid and then aerial ko. Hazards really kinda do need some type of skill to use as an advantage.
  15. Be a pray-using tank. They're awesome. Eagle eye pray flicking owns. :)
  16. I really hate how you just turn your opinion of something into a "case closed" subject. And plus, ring of life is much, much, MUCH more neccessary than a ring of wealth. Especially with a bad internet connection. And also, you should list that the main way people get 99 untrimmed slayer is by addint combat magic into it aswell. (including a cannon so your hp level isnt too high too)
  17. ^ You can use a controller for GH, I think. Any more ideas? ;)
  18. RayOxide replied to Caxis's topic in Off-Topic
People who play games like this for money dont like hazards cause they can change the game completely. They dont understand the meaning of gamble.
  19. World 2 - Telegrabbing Wine of Zamorak. Slow but kinda decent cash. :) Other than that, Im not very knowledgable on combat mage.
  20. Search Scarabite on http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster ;)
  21. I'm not one to be trusted on 99s, but I do have some decent knowledge of skills. Finding a 99 that people do not have will give you a better recognition. List: Cheap: Fletching, Cooking Fast: Fletching, Cooking Fun: Any combat. Money: Hunter, Farming Easy: Farming, any combat. They're my opinions anyway.
  22. Dont be angry because im "bashing your opinions" :P But I was the F2P one doing this method around the time the G.E came out, and it took forever for unstrung sapphire/emerald amulets to sell. Ruby/diamond may be better but I dont think Six has the requirements for either. :|
  23. I dont bash opinions, its just a fact they have the same defence, and for this guy who wants/needs a whip that ~130k can come in handy, Sorry. @ the rune part, Rune g is really bad in members - it does show richness but a whip is much more necessary, plus the chances of dying are much higher. I suggest checking your GP balance. If you sell rune g and can buy a whip, and rune body with rune legs only, go for it. But if you can buy a d skirt, as ugly as a wrecked pie (stronger defences, nevertheless) I say do it ;) LETS BE FRIENDS ASLAN :D
  24. VIVA PINATA!!! :D :D :D
  25. Adamant bolts. Then when you have only a bit of money left, buy (same amount) of feathers, and (/12 of CUT rubies), tip the rubies, fletch the bolts and tip - I think it breaks even or has a slight profit. Takes a while longer though.
