They have all been repeatedly raped by JPEG. They all look like they are using the same old technique, too, with no blending. The render was just thrown in. Go onto dA and look for tutorials, or go onto Gimptalk.com (Presuming you have GIMP). And don't use text if you don't have to. It's just a space filler. Sound familiar, LB? ;)

Looks like you used the same tutorial for all of them. Try to do things different then repeat the same thing/effects over and over again. And why the hell did you bump this after less than 10 Minutes?! The Gallery isn't as popular as Off Topic (Yet), be patient.

What are you talking about with the 14 Layer Limit? All program that I can name of the top of my head that have layers have an infinite amount of layers (GIMP, PhotoShop, Fireworks, Paint.Net, Illustrator).

That looks like quite a good camera you have chosen, although you could have got a basic DLSR, like a Sony a200, for the same amount of money, but that should be fine for you :) And resize it even further.

Number 1 is definently the best. Very original and good composition. Here's some overall feedback: 1. Original, good focus, and placement on the ribbon. 2. I don't know what it is, it looks quite ugly :-X 3. Not focused entirely on the necklace. The front is blurred, where it should be the other way around, front not blurred, going to a blur. Is your camera a D-SLR? Or normal? Learn the manual feature of your camera better, you will end up with better picture that way. And resize your picture, I tend to do mine at 900 Pixels wide, so that your screen isn't stretched too bad.

A new Skim board, and some money. Not what I was expecting, but meh...
