cave horrors abby specs and daggys do drop them but nechs have a much better drop rate unless its been changed. While going for 99 slayer i was getting anywhere from 3-9 torstol seeds a nech task I'll just add that this wasn't my experience at all. From what I remember I got maybe one seed every four or so nech tasks. They were really rare.

I always thought this would happen too, but ever since the GE was introduced prices have always crashed at the beginning of summer. It seemed logical that once everyone got out of school there would be more people playing, and demand would go up and prices would rise. It just never works out that way.

Yeah, I think that you're being way too pessimistic. It took me quite a few tries, but that was the first day it was out. Now there are countless guides and hints available. If I possibly could, I'd actually love to try it again. Knowing what I know now I think it would be a much easier fight.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows how butterflies compare with the agility courses for XP/HR. I have 99 hunter already, so the only XP that I'm concerned about would be what I get in agility. Also, if anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them. I tried butterflies a while ago, but I hated it. I heard that its possible to camp a single spawn to make it more tolerable, but I've never tried it.

It all depends on how this is implemented. If it's another Herblore Habitat, I'll be spending my next few months there. But if it's another Artisans Workshop or Charm Sprite Hunting, I'll go once and never come back.

Lava Titan or Juju Mining Potions? [ANSWERED]

I'm almost positive that you can't put Juju potions in a yak, since they are untradable. Here's what I do... Three 4-dose mining potions in my inventory and a yak with 18 incomplete urns. Mine for an hour, glory to Edgeville, restock and 30 second run back to the mines, continue mining. -
I'm not an expert, but I think that you're confusing the Thieving Guild and the Rogues Den. The chests are in the Thieving guild in Lumbridge.

It's not a glitch in the sense that it is working in the way that Jagex says that it is supposed to work. I still feel that it is a "bug" since it only happens because they never bothered to keep track of what the herb was supposed to be once it dies.

I don't know if there is a list anywhere, but I've made 25-30 ships with magic logs and all of the rewards were pretty much junk. With all of the effort involved in getting them I assumed that there would be a pretty good chance at a decent reward, but I usually ended up with stuff like 2-dose barbarian potions or mithril battleaxes.

The GE will always be a mystery to me. A few days ago I was trying to buy a few hundred magic potions. I put in an offer for one at the suggested price of ~6k just to feel out the market, and it bought instantly at 5k. I thought that was fair, so I put in an offer for 200 at 5K each and it didn't buy at all. I needed them right away and didn't have time to fool around so I put my offer back in at 6K each, and all 200 instantly bought for 4.8K each. I find it hard to believe that all magic potions that were for sale <5K completely sold out between my first and second offers, and magically got replenished at a lower price in the few seconds between my second and third offer.

Its not a Myth that needs busting. At this current time it is true; but after a few more quests come out it'll be 0.5 seconds per qp (at around 370qp) I think its gone up by a few seconds perhaps, but it was around the 185 seconds mark years ago when I stopped really going up. If it had of kept at the same old rate we would be in there for over 300 seconds now, as it was 1 second per qp very early on. Sy, it's 1 tick per qp, not 1 sec per qp. You have no proof unlike the above poster, I'll time (With my qp cape) next time tears are open. My proof is the masses of forum posts a few years ago when people noticed guthix tears time stopped increasing and ranted and questioned and investigated. And the fact tht it used to be about 1 second per qp, but now is clearly down to 0.6 seconds per qp. Also all the poster above proved was he went in there for 189 seconds, that does not conclusively prove max time is still increasing. It only proves that currently with 315 qp u get 189 seconds. That might make sense, except I did the exact same experiment a year ago with max qp and only got 181 seconds.

I timed it today and I got EXACTLY 189 seconds with 315 qp. That works out to be .6 seconds per qp... which is precisely what it should have been. Myth busted! There is no cap. Please feel free to try it yourselves.

Diseased only drop herb seeds, but Draconic drop all kinds of seeds. I did about 5K of each and 1 in 5 seems seems too high. I was probably getting 1 in 10 or so. Getting 10 seeds from 200 is pretty low, but it should average out a bit higher if you keep it up. Draconic DO NOT drop all seeds they only give herb. Only Common, Shadow, Diseased and Camouflaged drop all seeds. Igneous and Cannibal give only Bush Aquatic gives only flower Amphibious only Tree Carrion and Draconic only herb. You've got me second guessing myself. I know that I got other seeds, but they might have been coming from the common jadinkos that I was catching at the same time. I'll have to put this on the list of things that I'm going to check out after the bonus XP weekend is over.

The barbarian course may be slightly better XP/hr, but the gnome course will put off madness the longest.

the 1 tear per tick is true the 1 tick per qp is false. It WAS 1 qp per tick aaaaaggggggges ago, but a good 2 years ago now total tog time stopped going up, instead each new quest has just made 1 qp worth less time in there. Are you absolutely positive about this? I remember this topic coming up sometime last year (with the suggestion that the max time is now capped) and I did a little research. I'm almost positive that you still get additional time for every qp. No, it's definitely not 1 tick per QP anymore. Max QP stays in there for the same amount of time as it did a year ago. Well, I guess I'll have to time it again. I'm doing it again in 1 day 11 hours. I've got max qp (315), and since a game tick is .6 seconds, if I'm right then I'll get 189 seconds in the cave. Will post again then. Anyone else is also free to experiment in the meantime. edit.... I'll actually try to get a video of it just to make sure.

A few years ago Jagex said that they were looking for ways to train skills without creating massive piles of unsellable junk. I'll have to try it to see if the implementation is any good, but I'm happy that they are trying. edit... I think that it's cute how the stressed that it's good for "smiths of ALL levels", when in the BTS they explicitly said that it was only useful up to level 70.

I liked the quest, but the ending was a bit of a letdown. I made the boots and boom....quest over. I didn't really get the feeling that I accomplished anything. I made a full cosmic set, and it gave me an idea. Instead of mutes and stat wipes, make people produce primed bars as a punishment. I only made six of them and it was torture.

When content is released it needs to have a balance between speed, fun, and reward. If something is slow and unprofitable, it better be really fun. If content is fast, then it better not be too profitable. It just bugs me when content is unbalanced and obsolete from the get-go. But, it bugs me even more when Jagex spends months developing a piece of new content, and seem to be perfectly happy that NOBODY ever uses it.

Too bad you aren't allowed to interact between accounts that you own. You could have just made a separate account for each item, and used the trade system to lend them out. Since that is against the rules and out of the question, it seems that giving them to trusted friends would be the only legal option to lend out multiple items.

Spec... drink spec restore pot (awesome).... wait .... wait .... drink (DENIED! Didn't wait long enough) ... wait .... wait .... drink (DENIED!!!) .... wait ... waaaaaaiiiiiiiittt ... drink (VICTORY!!!! YESSS!) .... wait ... wait .... wait ...wait ...wait ........... Zzzzzzzz...... drink (DENIED! Waited to long! Spec restored by itself.) Spec .... I can tell you with absolute honestly that I can live a completely contented life without having to deal with this. The 10 extra hours would be a blessing.

You guys are way too intense for me. That 2% increase works out to less than a minute and a half saved per task. I'd rather eat the minute and a half and be able to leisurely get through my task without getting an ulcer, constantly potting and watching my spec bar (or even worse, prayer flashing). I'm not putting down what you guys are doing, but I tend to factor in how much I need to pay attention when figuring out how much time a task takes. If I take 1:02 to do a task but only pay attention for five minutes, that beats a task that takes 1:00 but requires me to pay attention nearly the entire time.

You can have 10 urns of one skill type with any amount in them. So yes, 10 full urns of one type is the most you can have. You can have an infinite number of charged but empty urns though. Again, this is all in the KB if people bothered reading it. No point in banking urns you can't empty them, ecto them or altar them. To do that you need to plain ashes. Also lol at ppl saying the ashes aren't worth picking up. Sure they r 7xp less than d bones, so 28xp less ecto and 21 less altar, but still they are so close they are darn good xp; even if odds are they might make prices of prayer plummet. I mean people bound to camp black demons for them and result in simialr-ish supply to d bones. I kind of wanted to stock up on them and open all at once. More of a psychological thing. The 625 mining XP is pretty unimpressive by itself, but if I opened 1k or so all at once it would be awesome.
