For just a second, when I saw the line "The new king is .....", I was expecting that I was going to be the new king. Oh, well. It would have been great.

The first thought that popped into my head when I heard about this was, "Lambs to the slaughter". Although, there are lot more protections around these days, so maybe it won't be all that bad

Nothing says that the GE will go away. It can continue the way it is, or give "suggested values" but let you sell/buy for whatever you want. The thing about this that I'll really, really enjoy is when the people with rares "worth" billions of coins actually try to sell them for what they think they are worth. The sound of people crashing to reality will be deafening.

I guess you should have posted this on the front page. As it is I had to read through 5 pages of discussion to find out that there was nothing to discuss.

I used to play on two computers. One of them always had it on, the other always had it off, and there was nothing that I could do about it. None of the settings that I ever changed made a difference.

Is this true? I thought that you had a chance for some extra runes up to 91, but you would never actually get double until you were at 91.

OK, I finished the quest a few hours ago and I started thinking about the new magic carpet destination. Is it of any use at all? The only attraction in the area that I can think of is the pyramid to change to ancients, and the Bedabin camp seems to be just about the same running distance. Can anybody think of a useful purpose for it?

I'm stuck on the first banana puzzle. I know what to do, but it's driving me crazy trying to get it done. Annoying and frustrating =/= challenging

Does anyone know which jadinkos would be best to hunt for herb seeds? I have fairly good luck with the common ones, but I haven't tested all of the others to get a really geed sense of their drops.

I'm totally at a loss at to what to do with tracking with a noose wand. I clicked on a burrow, and it led me to a hole, and now I can't seem to do anything. I've searched every plant in the area and attacked every bush, and nothing is happening. I know that I'm missing something, but I don't know what. Can anyone give me a hint?

It's worth mentioning that at 95 thieving with the gloves and cape you no longer fail, and at 93 thieving with a magpie (invisible +2) you also no longer fail. I always found the magpie to be well worth using. This is great because you no longer need food, and you gloves never wear out. I've got a question. I've always heard that if you thieve when your inventory is full, you won't get XP for the pick if you don't have room for the new seed. Is this true?

I got to 92 in Nardah. I loved it because I could do my whole inventory plus an entire yak in one straight line.

This is why I'm maxed combat with 2300+ skill levels and only 66 dung, mostly from tears. Solo is excruciating, but multi was even worse for me. I'm waiting for Jagex to balance out solo XP rates, but since that probably wont ever happen, my dung level will always be miserable.

The resets clearly show up in the adventurers logs. Check it out if you don't believe that it's happening. Look at his agility level.

It's now happening to both members and non-members in multiple skills. The rumor going around is that Jagex is resetting stats on accounts that were botting. I've got no idea if that is true, though.

Thanks, I always thought 1/6. That really makes it worse. 6/10 of a second is actually a pretty long time.

Here's how I understand this.... Even though it looks like the game "exists" continuously, it is actually split up into discrete 1/6 second intervals. People call one of these intervals a game tick. A sixth of a second may seem like a short period of time, but it is long enough for "ties" to occur in the game where multiple people can perform the same action at the exact same time. When this happens, the game has to come up with a tiebreaker to decide which person is the winner. In the past, the tiebreaker was based on the IP address assigned to the computers that the individuals used to connect to the game. It was possible to get a "good" address and always win the tie. From what I understand this has been changed, but it is unclear how the game currently resolves ties. This doesn't matter all of the time, but for actions like iron mining where you can 1-click to get the ore, it can make all the difference. You'll also notice this in single combat areas when you are competing for monsters, and the other person always seems to get the monster over you no matter how quickly you click. So, you might actually be doing nothing wrong. For whatever reason, you just happened to be on the bad side of whatever method that they are using.

There are other people on the RSOF complaining about this. They are all F2P, and they all lost woodcutting levels.

I got enough money to buy the ore going solo on a medium floor. I just killed everything and collected the money, and alched everything else. I mined all of the ore that I found, chopped every tree, and caught every fish and alched all of it. It took almost an hour, but it worked.

I'm looking to get a tackle box, so I'm giving Fish Flingers a try. I've played it twice and I've pretty much got the basic concept down, but I can't figure out how to get all six types of fish. Supposedly there are six types of fish spread out between four locations, so two of the locations has two different types. But I can't ever seem to be able to find more than four types. I know that I'm doing something wrong or overlooking something, but I can't figure out what. Can anyone help me out?

I had pretty good luck with the chaos elemental. Two elite clues in about 20 kills. It may have just been a lucky streak, though. I didn't go back after the second one so I don't have a really reliable drop rate.
