  7. Since I'm such a narc, I'll post 4 pictures in chronological order!
  8. Sorry. Couldn't find time to go out and take photos. :( Will try this week.. And with the risk of sounding dumb: what's Tootsie? Maybe he means something like a tootsie pop or roll? Pretty much, or some form of candy like that really :)
  9. New week, new topic (you can still send in pictures from the last topic though) This weeks topic is Tootsie
  10. It is still only Tuesday ... :P
  11. This is my entry for this week... obviously right outside of an engineering building on campus!
  12. No, that would ruin the fun of a scavenger hunt :)
  13. It's not a strict contest at all, just a fun game... so anyone can get in anytime, there will be no winner.
  14. Looks like it's wednesday and the subject is Street Lamps/Street Lights/whatever you call them
  15. Just a basic tally of who participated ;) Really interested in seeing the pictures, not judging them, so I won't :P
  16. I'll be gauging interest for this over the next few days and if there's enough I'll start it up on Wednesday, posting new items every week. What is it? -- I give you the subject and you have to go out and get a picture of it, somewhat similar to a scavenger hunt. The subject could be anything from Silly Putty to Street Lights to Photo From a Roof. Rules? -- ANYONE can enter, ANYTIME -- You have one week to get the picture -- Must include the subject I post in some way (however creative ;) ) -- Must be your picture (honor code here, guys) -- Picture cannot have been taken before the topic was posted -- Resize pictures to a respectable size (320x240 or less) for a thumbnail that links to the fullsize picture -- What other rules can I put on here? Go out and have a fun time. -- Posted thumbnail should be 320x240 with a link to fullsize image.... or you can host on imageshack and use their default thumbnail size or whatnot :P November 14 - Street lamps Runesmithie dusqi Zargo woopidoo2 Overall Tally of Entries ---- 1 - Runesmithie 1 - dusqi 1 - Zargo 1 - woopidoo2
  17. Going to have to put my two cents in and say that this post made the entire 12 pages of flames worthwhile
  18. She's 13, there's not much in lost wages... And Mythbusters used a stationary pig with a cable hitting it... like I said, substantially different than a moving girl with a cable wrapping around her feet what if she modeled? or garden and got paid :P then there is lost wages , oh i bet they will be a upcoming mythbuster then, sorry i dont ready every post dont have hours to spend on here. It ISN'T a myth... mythbusters is about MYTHS, this is a real life documented case... I'm sure they could go tell her that her feet weren't cut off, but I dont think that would go over very well

  20. If she's lucky she might end up with a very small payment in return for her suffering. Due to the poor health care in the US, the money she receives might not even cover the hospital bills. Hopefully she's well insured. There's a chance she will be disabled for the rest of her life. Even if they manage to reattach her feet she might have recurring pain or problems which will prevent her from doing many activities that we all take for granted. This is a really tragic event. I hope she'll be able to walk again... :( You do realize that you don't have to sue for a static amount? She could very well likely sue for the cost of hospital bills plus other damages
  21. Their test was with a stationary object... From what I read, the cable wrapped around her feet as they were going down. And even then, isn't this more proof than mythbusters could ever offer? Her feet didn't just magically fall off, did they?

That really wouldn't matter..... except people would be able to see your junk when you ripped your pants :-s Clearly the term means something different to where you live form where I live lol... and I don't really BTW! "The terms "going commando" or simply "commando" are often used in the United States, Canada, Australia and Great Britain to refer to wearing no underwear under the trousers."

  24. Don't read Fahrenheit 451. Dear God, don't read that book. Very weird, very out there, very boring >_<. I dunno, maybe 15 was too young for me to read it, but that was the dullest book I've ever read. Okay, Red Badge of Courage beats it, but just barely. If you think 451 is out there, you've never really read any sci fi :P
  25. Your kidding about not having a anti-virus right? If your not then you don't have much common sense at all #-o . You can get viruses, adware, spyware and malware from nearly every type of media (I found a trojan on a brand new MP3 player ). And about 1/3 of all programs and games come with 1 or more piece(s) of adware. Easily replaced with common sense...
