  1. I'd like to agree with that but at the end of the day it's all about the bottom line. A lot of people at my work had their hours slashed and given to people who: 1. Have no concept of upselling 2. Have barely any product knowledge 3. Are ineffecient at a lot of tasks 4. Lack effective custom-service skills Reason? We were too expensive to employ for the total sales being made :uhh: I find that hard to believe given that the week before she turned up my store hit 80K for the week. And since she's been there it has struggled to hit 40k at the end of the week. And when you have a 9.9% wage budget (so for a 40k week that's only 4k allowed on wages). She was hitting around 7k for wages, even with the cheapies because they simply couldn't make the sales, upsell or even answer basic questions about products so a consumer could make up their own mind #-o On the plus - She's now been transfered to another store and our sales are on the rise again. Slowly but surely my store will be back to the 80k mark per week :) Maybe it changes for larger operations :P But the managers were always telling me to slow down and take a break when I was doing minimal work, but a good job at it. :\
  2. Maybe if you actually cared to read the article you'd find out that the finger length was representative of hormones during pregnancy. It also made for a snappy headline sure to gather morons like you.
  3. I learned: 1) Do a good job everytime and it will be noticed 2) Always volunteer for the first task or you'll get a hard one later on 3) Act like you're having fun while you work and you'll ... have fun while you work :) 4) Not everyone shares my views 5) People will try to corrupt you into not doing the best you can do For reference, I volunteered at a Lowes/Home Depot type store that was stocked by donations last summer
  4. Working my way through American Gods, which I suppose could be called fantasy :P So far it's a really good book, but it has pretty coarse language and 'suggestive' scenes (think man swallowed by a woman......'s crotch) Other than that I really liked Ender's Game (who doesn't)
  5. I update the worlds one when I remember >.> Not automated yet, and the hiscores ones are just oneoffs on request.
  6. Right, so it's the last 3 months, the X-axis is time (dates are labelled) and the y axis is the experience. The filename cooking100.png tells you that it's the graph for the Cooking highscore, rank 100 for the past 3 months.. Any more? well I don't see a graph named cooking100, but are you trying to say that the graph shows the xp the people in that rank have? Yup, and I don't have all the graphs generated because 1) they're always updating and 2) they take a bit of time to prepare each (10-20 seconds, up to a minute for the world ones) That's why I'm doing requests instead of having it all out there :P
  7. Right, so it's the last 3 months, the X-axis is time (dates are labelled) and the y axis is the experience. The filename cooking100.png tells you that it's the graph for the Cooking highscore, rank 100 for the past 3 months.. Any more?
  8. Just updated my list, wondering if Newegg dropped anything, so if some of you could look it over to see if anything's missing it'd be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to keep this under 1500 without shipping. I'm also recycling an old monitor of mine, that's why there aren't any of those :P Same with mouse and keyboard.
  9. Mining 1: done The world data is only the past day And do you mean all of the worlds in one graph? Quite cluttered that would get :P The worlds are sort of in order, ones starting with 1 come first, although 100-199 worlds also start with a 1, so it can get a little confusing :P
  10. Am I the only person that loved MathBlasters then?
  11. Right, I just moved all of my pictures to http://www.eclipsor.com/rsgraph/
  12. I put 55738008, same thing :P BOOBELSS? (the 1 is an I in mine :P)
  13. I've seen 58008 and 8008, but not 5318008 yet!
  14. Within the hour I should have graphs of the past days activity for every world on the main world page (no german worlds) Just use this format: http://www.eclipsor.com/images/rsgraph/worlds/w1.png Replacing the 1 with the number of the world you want to check :) Tell me if there are any bugs or improvements that could be made!
  15. New graph added! Runecrafting at rank 1337 for the past 3 months :D
  16. Well, from what I have seen of his posts he doesn't do that, and besides you probably did that when you were that age so have a little more respect. I never said he did it, but it's just a general tip. And I know for a fact I did some of those when I was his age and I think it's immature now.
  17. My opinion on how you should act if you want to be treated like a mature person... No lol's, lawl's, hawt's, 13775p3k, excessive exclamation and/or question marks, caps to a minimum. I think that's it, but I can't remember... Oh, yeah, and keep devotion to a completely ridiculous topic hidden (like say.... cabbages? or squirrels)
  18. Not that casinos really want the math geniuses to come :P
  19. You knew they had rules against it. You pushed it. You deserve the detention.
  20. He want's a flight sim, not a game that just happens to include flying in bits
  21. Be prepared to *learn a ton* unless you want to get bored of it in a few days :P And if you want to get on the multiplayer circuit (VATSIM), you'll need to have your stuff down pat or look like a fool. The tutorial courses are definitely worth it and even then they don't cover everything you'd need to go about flying in a live ATC environment :\
  22. More like a year and 8-9 months ago :P
