  1. Yes, you really can sue for anything and you really always have been able to... However, you won't always have a chance of winning.
  2. I'll trade a Cranidos for pretty much anything I don't have (only 30 or so that I've had, probably less in my box) I've got 3 spare Cranidos and my friends code is 1933-7220-5549 I'd rather get something from previous games that can't be had in this game without pal park and all that:P I don't give a flying hoot whether they're hacked or not as long as they aren't level 100 shinies with max stats, I just want a normal one
  3. who knows, McDonald's was suided becasue they didn't put a labal saying "Hot Coffee" when the lady ordered "Hot Coffee" Yes, especially when it gave her third degree burns and they served their coffee considerably hotter than other establishments...
  4. I'm pretty sure it's adbased and free (at least free for now)
  5. Do you know a single thing about operating systems? a) It's not linux, it's Solaris B) It's Sun, not java c) How do you know it's quite secure by looking at the source code if you don't even know the difference between solaris and linooks?
  6. Seriously, how do they find the time to make all these mmos :)
  7. I think you can still get Visual C++ for free personal use if you just need that Visual Studio fix (which I admittedly like)
  8. He said something similar at Asimov's funeral, and hoped someone would say it at his. He said it was his favourite joke :P . Can't remember the source where I saw that at, but yeah, that was where I got it from :P
  9. Well, he's happy in Heaven now :) I'm so horribly sorry, I couldn't resist ...
  10. You should start off with Ubuntu if you do anything at all, since it is by far one of the easiest to use distros.
  11. Yay for unexpected upgrades :P My ISP likes doing that ... we started out with a 512kbps line and then they upgraded us for free to a 1mb line without telling us.. then 2 mb,then 2.5 mb, and just last week they pushed it up to 3.5mb :D
  12. We look into them 'way too much' because that's usually what it takes to figure out what's actually wrong instead of just assuming it's your ISP working on something. People that assume it's just the ISP 'working' every time something like this happens end up getting shafted in the end because they're paying for unstable services. I have one of the best internet providers in the country (USA) and I still sometimes have slow speeds or more commonly no internet every now and then. I use a small ISP and I haven't had an internet outage. Period. In the last 3+ years. The only times I havent been able to get online were due to my own stupidity in setting up my router. Maybe you need higher standards?
  13. One system I read about in my gov't book that sounded interesting would have the regular system, but the winner of the popular election gets +100 electoral votes or something like that :)
  14. A boat that weighs over a billion pounds and a 2-ton truck are quite different Size does not equal safety. Period. Everything fails, it's a fact of life... I thought you were too mature to post on these message boards. My IQ was feeling too high, so I decided to browse the forums a bit.

  16. Hate to say it, but time for a new computer :) Just because it says minimum requirements doesn't mean its playable requirements.
  17. It can crop to active window though, which is really nice
  18. I think you may want to read OP again and see if you comprehend it better :)
  19. Update here: As of now I have collected hiscores 24 times and worlds 1326 times.
  20. The name (Plan 9 from Bell Labs) was based off of the film :P From what I know so far, it's how the Unix guys thought they could reinvent Unix to be better http://plan9.bell-labs.com/plan9/
  21. Don't worry, that rule's been done away with :P
  22. Installing Plan 9 from Outer Spa^W^WBell Labs as I type... Taking forever though :x I suppose thats what you get for virtualization :\
  23. That'd suck a crazy amount of their bandwidth, especially since they provide no easy access to hiscores like XML or something and you can't fetch specific bits of the page :P Right now I'm fetching 3mb worth of data per run. All I really want to do with this is track changes over time, since they're always interesting :) Not too familiar with the terms, but I'm sure I could pass the script off as second party since I wrote it (although it wouldn't be a wise idea to distribute :) )
