I have virus scanned twice now. I think I'll download a different virus scanner and try that, then use a spyware detector. Lol. It will also help out the clan mods in which they can easiy detect the spammer in the clan list and kick them. :D That was what I meant lol :P

I think clan chat needs a little adjusting so you can't leave chat/logout until 10 secs after you last spoke It'd solve all these "OMFG YOU KICKED ME" business :wall:

There's no way to win - I saw the best player in the game (are we allowed to name him in here if it's not in a negative way? Meh you all know who I'm talking about) Anyway, I saw him in Seers bank and it was all "LOL NOOB." Goes to show that no matter how good you are, or how good you think you are, there'll always be someone to criticise. I have to admit, I'm not too fond of training combat but I was lvl 79 too for a long time whilst I was mining. I got one 'noob' comment, I just replied: "I'm a noob? GREAT! Thanks a lot dude, I always wanted to be one of those!" Act as if it's the best compliment ever, they give up soon enough If it bothers you that much, the ignore list is your friend :)

I have exactly the same problem!! RS is just lagging so much since the billing thing and a Java update! I've un- and re-installed Java and Firefox several times with no result Tishala - I'll be keeping an eye on this topic, but if you manage to get it back to normal would you mind messaging me please? My bad - forgot to mention, IE now just does the same as Firefox, when I uninstalled and reinstalled Java earlier in the week, it got rid of the error message but it just loads slowly :|

L0l0lpur3, GET OVER IT!!! From what I can tell you were kicked ONCE, with warning!! Grow up and move on. It's just a game yet you seem to be getting so angry over it. Fair enough if someone had hacked your account and stolen that party hat you'd been saving for for 2 years, but you were kicked from a chat channel that you could have easily rejoined within an hour. It's really petty how annoyed you are about this lol

I'd love to see you do a better job. Lightning's chat mods are lovely, I HIGHLY doubt they'd use spammers as an excuse to kick people. I've been kicked before instead of Rsw44 Spam, sh..tuff happens, get over it. Talk on other clans or to other people for the next hour, then re-join Lightning's chat ..Actually, don't rejoin it until you've had an attitude fix. The mods are not 'terrible', they're usually efficient and incredibly nice people. GROW UP!!

I'm getting incredibly annoyed recently... I've started to notice more than ever the amount of people who come up to me on RS and take the pee for having a female character. For the picture on the right, I went to Control Panel -> Java, like it says on your link, but I couldn't see how to clear the cache tab - where is this? :? Then I discovered the picture on the left (Tools -> Java Console in Firefox, Tools -> Sun Java in IE), tried pressing 'clear' at the bottom and restarted but it still doesn't work

Client did the same as Firefox, strangely, despite it using IE :? And Opera did the same as Firefox too I'm so confused lol it's never done this before :|

Reinstalled Java, same results.. I'll give the client a go, if not I'll download Opera and see how that goes

It comes up with "The Java Runtime Environment cannot be loaded" I don't think it's the internet connection tbh, I can load other pages fine while RS is making a pathetic attempt to load in another tab Also, what do you mean by the RS client that Jagex made?

I'm on Firefox atm and it just will not let me play! When I click on a world, it comes up with a white screen which, after about 5 minutes, comes up with that red and black loading bar. Another 10-15 minutes and it comes up with 'Connecting to update server' Eventually, about half hour after that, you get the login page. But it's ridiculously slow, I'm not kidding. I managed to log on last night, tried doing something that could possibly be done with stupid amounts of lag, alched something and got Prison Pete -.- So now I can't just put up with the slowness, I HAVE to do something about it. (Edit) IE used to come up with a 'The Java Runtime Environment hates you' error message, it now does exactly the same as Firefox. I've tried installing Opera, same problem. It was absolutely fine on Firefox up until Friday night (16th November).. I've tried removing all Java from my computer and then reinstalling it but it still won't load. It needs fixing pretty soon as members is up in something like five days and there's obviously no point renewing if I can't play Thanks, Plugpoint92 :|
