Why would playing RS deplete all of my social skills and prevent me socialising (going to parties or whatever)? If you think it's one or the other you need to get out more. It's stupidly easy to play RS and socialise - obviously not at the same time if you're out somewhere, but you can have both in your life without any problems. I think all you losers complaining about this are pathetic tbh. You're the same ones who were complaining about real-world trading. Everyone's so quick to knock Jagex down, it's rare that I see anyone defend them. They're doing their best, even if they have to take these measures. If you don't like what RuneScape is becoming, the simple solution is to quit. Either that, or grow up and accept that Jagex have tried every other option they can think of to get rid of this problem that affects every single player. Yes, every one of them, whether they're a woodcutter whose logs are being taken by macroers, or merchanters whose prices are affected by bots bringing gp into the system. Lol. I agree with you on this, Jagex is lazy about in-game security. :ohnoes: Lol they think bringing in SOS will solve everything.. Like, 'why should we bother with more in-game security? It's their fault for not going to SOS!' Well, that seems to be their attitude to this because I can't believe they FORGOT about it. But tbh I disagree, they're not too bad with account security. Anyone with half a brain is aware of hackers and so they should set good passwords and PINs. On the other hand, the stupid people and/or newbs hear about SOS and think "Ooh 10k!" (the ones that don't find 10k a big deal must have been playing for a bit, if they haven't set a PIN by now it's their own fault). They have to set a PIN to get through SOS. I think Jagex should mention the Stronghold on Tutorial Island, the only other way newbs can find out about it is through other players, and Barbarian Village isn't the easiest place for a new person to get to... A couple people on here have threatened to quit - but would you? I personally would carry on playing as if the update hadn't existed, and have the honour of earning my money. Actually, I doubt this is possible, like someone said, there would be inflation because the money would become worthless and therefore I'd have a bunch more, but I wouldn't have taken the cheat's way out and bought it.
