  1. LOL the Santa wasn't mentioned at all in the liar's little fairy tale! Isn't the point of theatre to make the audience believe you're that character? Man, if I was your drama teacher I wouldn't even bother marking you... Plugpoint92
  2. Exactly what I've been thinking - all I've seen on TIF today is either "YEAHHHHH SUMMONING" "FFS STUPID DUEL ARENA UPDATE I HATE IT!" "GRAND EXCHANGE IS GONNA RUIN MERCHANTING FOREVER!!!" People jump to conclusions about future updates far too quickly - just wait and see what it'll be like before talking about it, mmkay? Plugpoint92 :
  3. Someone hasn't read the Tip.It guide properly... http://tip.it/runescape/?page=taibwowannai_cleanup.htm Talk to any of the people highlighted in that map. Talk to them and say "I've been doing some work around the village" and they'll give you sticks. However, they only give out sticks once every so often - you might find that you have to return a couple times to spend all your favour. And why would you want to report this 'noob' - THEY WERE TRYING TO HELP. They offered you an anti-poison because they could see you were poisoned - what is so wrong with that?! Am I a noob because I just tried to help you with Tai Bwo Wannai? Have I just wasted my time on an ungrateful moron? The person quite clearly wanted to help! Then I guess they were trying to compliment you when they said 'I want your armour'. HOW were they trying to distract you from being poisoned when they were trying to help? And how have Jagex frustrated you? You just haven't understood what you were meant to do, and your computer overheated, someone tried to be nice and you have gotten all angry about it and blamed Jagex. It's not their fault! Plugpoint92
  4. eh, i'm an rsof'er... Yeah but you're not one of the RSOFers who is moaning about the GE ruining merchanting :D Plugpoint92 :
  5. Don't exaggerate so much when you don't have a clue how this will affect merchanting. I hate how everyone's jumping to conclusions about both the Grand Exchange and Summoning. Let's wait til they're released before we make assumptions, mmkay? Plugpoint92
  6. How about this: Do something that you can easily get money from whilst getting xp (buying raw lobs, cooking, and selling for profit, for example). Then, use the money that you gain from this to buy your crafting materials. I'm sure you can make money or at least break even somehow with the d hides, though... Plugpoint92 :
  7. Okay, sorry if I came across as mean there, it just didn't seem right that the stats you mentioned were different to the ones on the hiscores. And please, please change the font colour lol! Plugpoint92 :
  8. +1 Froggy. They're still in the game, it's not like they were deleted entirely. So what if you and your spinach roll collection has been set back? At least now some kid who's been saving for ages to get 20k hasn't spent all of it on a spinach roll because a lvl 70 told him it was rare. You wouldn't really want to understand how that would feel, of course, because your spinach roll collection comes first. Never mind what's best for a lot of RuneScapers, as long as your spinach rolls are fine. Life goes on. Even if it has to go on with a smaller number above that little green cylinder in your bank. Plugpoint92
  9. THANK YOU. I hate people jumping to conclusions! Especially ones concerning Jagex's "horrific anti-scaper motives" - they're here to HELP, not to HINDER. They're doing their best, giving us updates that they think we'll like. (Maybe with the exception of the 3k staking cap, but their reasons are justified, they just want to stop real-world item trading, even if a maximum of 12k an hour is a bit silly.) It's all very well speculating but you'll be wrong most of the time. I walked past some idiots the other day telling each other how they're gonna get to 99 summoning - WTF! It's better to not speculate and be pleasantly surprised than to over-exaggerate and expect too much just to be disappointed. I'm personally looking forward to the Grand Exchange. I hate standing in a busy world that I've spent half hour trying to enter, just to spend another half hour typing the same thing over and over again, only to get an offer of 2k iron ore, a rune longsword and 15k when you specifically said cash only. Also, remember this: YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE THE EXCHANGE WHEN YOU WANT TO BUY OR SELL ANYTHING. That's annoying me, people are acting as if it's the end of trading. It isn't. Even if it was, live with it. Life goes on, it's just a game! (Albeit a very good one :) ) Plugpoint92 :
  10. Yaaaay 85 mining.. That's the best type of 85! :D Here's a tip for you: If you can't wait to mine runite ore, take some dwarven stout to the wildy and mine away! But take quite a few stout - maybe take a friend there with a full inventory of it, because it runs out quicker than you can mine the ore. They can also attack anyone else who might be there. Plugpoint92 :
  11. I want a go! :^o Yaaaaaaay =] Ahem.. anyway.. 900 views! That's the most I've ever had for one of my posts - If you're going to read, though, you should reply! Add your thoughts, I don't care whether you agree or not, I want to know what people think! :D Thanks to those of you who've replied already  Plugpoint92 :
  12. Your levels are: RC: 35 WC: 64 Fletching: 62 Yeah you can make a fair bit of money with the woodcutting and fletching, but only 35 runecrafting? Those three skills combined, at those levels, won't get you anywhere near 20m - I have 40 rc, 70 wc and 60 fletching, as well as the rest of my skills being a bit better than yours, and I have 5m. Nowhere near 20m lol -.- Did you now? The hiscores suggest otherwise. 70 attack, 62 defence and unranked for strength (the minimum strength level required for hiscores is currently 65) Folks, what we have here is a liar. Oh, and get rid of the red text, it's not very kind on the eye. Plugpoint92 :wall:
  13. I hope they don't get rid of it completely. It'll be a pain in the backside if you're trying to do a quest or something with a friend, and they need a coal or pair of gloves or something. The only way to trade this over is to drop-trade it - but that's against the rules. I have to say, I'm quite looking forward to the Grand Exchange though :D Plugpoint92 :
  14. Tell me, if YOU worked for Jagex Customer Support, how would you like to sit through hundreds of messages saying the same thing, having to type out the same thing over and over again? No fun, huh? Instead, they have probably written a template for a lot of their replies that answer the question properly. Of course, the mod will change things in it to make it a better response. But I think a template that answers everything in a quick reply is better than a personal answer that you recieve weeks after the query that only answers a couple things because the mod understandably didn't want to type out the same thing for the hundredth time that day. From experience I've recieved a few copy-and-paste answers, and one or two personal ones. No big deal, they both answered my questions. Give them a break, they're doing their jobs efficiently and I doubt you could do any better. Plugpoint92 :
  15. "Easy to get"? I doubt that any 99s are 'easy'. Sure, there are some that are a bit easier than others, and more common, but everybody with 99 in either cooking or fletching has taken a fair bit of time to try and achieve it. You should note that not everybody gets capes because they're 'easy'. Some people try and get the skillcape because they ENJOY training the skill. That's something that a lot of people forget - they spend so long training that they forget that RuneScape is there for people who want to have fun and enjoy themselves. So, to the tens of thousands of you with a skillcape in cooking or fletching - CONGRATULATIONS. The morons who laugh at you are either jealous or the type of nerd who has 99 in a supposedly more difficult skill. As long as you're proud of the achievement, it doesn't matter what any of those jerks have to say about it :D Plugpoint92 :
  16. I disagree that names like 'Cexygurl' or 'Playgirl' definitely mean you're a girl. If anything, I think it sounds more like ten year old boys pretending to be a girl to get spoken to in a dirty manner. And yeah it was sexist but it made me laugh :D Plugpoint92 : I think the writer meant that if you have those names, it's more likely your a guy, but people with (relativly) real names are more likely to be chicks. I could never be a chick, I have man in my name. No sexual soliciting for me  Yeah, I just re-read it and you're right lol, I misunderstood what he wrote the first time A lot of people don't realise I'm a girl because of the name - Plugpoint92 is hardly girly lol. In fact, I couldn't think of anything so I got a male friend to think of something for me. I've been plagued with 'you're not a girl!' ever since Plugpoint92 :
  17. Full Santa would inflate the prices of Santa hats way too much, so that's a no Anything to do with reindeers is hopefully a no too - the reindeer hat was so bad lol! Maybe like.. a present of some sort. You open it and turn into a Christmas tree, that'd be pretty neat. Although someone's bound to get you confused with an evergreen tree. And they already gave us that Wintumber tree for our houses lol.. Maybe a dancing tree then :) I quite like the Candy Staff idea, but would it have any spells? OMG I just had the best idea - CHRISTMAS PUDDING OUTFIT LOL!! You'd have the pudding as a top, then a berries and holly hat, then.. Idk, normal legs that look cool. And Christmas pudding shoes! They released dragon slippers so why not festive slippers? :D Plugpoint92 :
  18. congratulations, you have just been caught from posting useless posts to gain post count. Congratulations Hbk_Hossack, you just gained a Owned By Deal level! I think people are getting too excited about summoning. I've heard a couple people planning the best way to get to 99 quickly - WTF! It's better to assume it'll be average and be pleasantly surprised than get really excited about it and feel let down. So just ignore the fact that it's coming soon  Plugpoint92 :
  19. sdfu go back to sals noob L0l0lpur3, Ganja_Sabre was apologising for those few people who were spamming us. At least show him some form of courtesy (I think that's how it's spelt lol) Ganja_Sabre, thank you for taking the time to come here and apologise. I agree that every single fansite and their members can get along peacefully without resorting to childish behaviour shown by those few idiots trying to aggravate other fansites. Plugpoint92 :
  20. I disagree that names like 'Cexygurl' or 'Playgirl' definitely mean you're a girl. If anything, I think it sounds more like ten year old boys pretending to be a girl to get spoken to in a dirty manner. And yeah it was sexist but it made me laugh :D Plugpoint92 :
  21. Mhmm.. I always thought that particular chat were better than that, obviously a small minority is ruining the reputation of the entire chat. Idk what they were trying to achieve there lol, idiots
  22. Really? I always thought that wearing a skirt would be way too drafty. Maybe that's why he likes it  Lol =] Plugpoint92
  23. I never said there was anything wrong with wearing manskirts or kilts or whatever you want to call them - I was just saying that I accept that a lot of female characters are guys who didn't feel the manskirt was for them and so changed to female, but that this didn't necessarily mean that EVERY girl character was a guy who doesn't like skirts on men. ...I think that made sense. Lol :P Plugpoint92 :
  24. Run another virus scan and STILL nothing. Tbh I think it's a problem on Jagex's end. I've been browsing through forums both here and on the official RS ones and some people seem to be having the same problem that's been going on since Friday. I just hope Monday's or Tuesday's updates solve this! If anyone else has any suggestions they'd be greatly appreciated :!: Plugpoint92 :
  25. Ok :P , it was mainly the hair color that I was "seconding" (wow, according to spell check that's a real word) Lol this is coming from someone with a blonde woman as their signature? :P
