I haven't recently installed any hardware. As for the CD, if it is a Windows Xp Repair CD, but not made only for the Vaio Laptop, will it still repair the problem?

The Spam is up on this post.

Normal boot comes up with the same error screen as if you press F8 optionwise. If I boot up normally, that message will appear and any options I choose, will freeze the screen. If I press F8 and choose any of the options, it will go to a greyish, black screen and stay there as if frozen. This applies to anything I choose.
-
No, like I said, any option I choose, the screen will "freeze." I will hit enter on any of the options and my computer will stay on that screen. I am no longer able to move the highlighted option and Windows won't load.

I thought about that, but I can't seem to find the CD. I have all the materials it came with yet the CD seems to be missing. #-o Can I use a CD from another windows "computer" to do the job. This computer is a Windows XP also and I may be able to find the setup CD for this one.

Hello, One of my laptops has had a problem which I have been unable to resolve. It is a Vaio laptop. When I start the computer, it will come up with this error message: This has occured a couple of times lately, within the last week or so. I usually can just hit enter on Last Known Good Configuration and it is fine. However, recently, that didn't work. So, I restored the computer completely. This worked fine for a day, and I had all the new programs and updates installed onto it that Windows had available. Yet, when I turned the computer off and restarted it, this error occured once again. Yet, this time, I can use my up and down keys to highlight the option I want, but when I hit enter, the computer will freeze on that screen. I have tried hitting F8 before it comes to this screen. This allows me to click on any of the options, but once doing so, it will go straight to a greyish, black screen where it will stay, almost as though it is frozen. Nothing I do seems to work, so I thought maybe you all would have an answer. Thanks!

Haha, just start Runecrafting! Don't be too proud of that :-s Runemonkey all time hiscore was reset im guessing because the old record was 2.2mill,same thing for other skill (Thieving was 5.4mill and now its 900k lol) 162kxp is not much Yeah, I know it got reset. I never said I was proud of it, I just said I thought it was cool to be ranked #7. Anyways, it will go up soon as I progress. I know 100k in one day is nothing, don't worry. :) Thanks! :) Thanks! Why the ZMI Ourania Altar Will Change How You Runecraft
-Devoted12- replied to qeltar's topic in General Discussion
Wow, looks like you spent loads of time on this. :) Thanks for the information! It was very helpful! Although I will stick to Nat Crafting for now, I may decide to switch it up a bit later and this will help me choose. Thanks for all the time you put into this. :) -
Magic: the Gathering (split from trading card topic)
-Devoted12- replied to Necromagus's topic in Off-Topic
There is no need to make a new topic for one card game. Just use the overall post for ALL card games. It only has three pages so won't be overwhelmed too much. Thanks! -
I will accumulate cash then go on sprees. So this bunch of cash will get me to level 83. I will probably runecraft til I have enough for 91. Then buy planks and make. The repeat. Give me a PM when I have my chat on and we'll work it out. Thanks! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I thought this was kinda cool. I am ranked 7th on the All Time Highscores for Construction. I will be going for the top spot when I get higher up! :)

^v^ Zignibar's Blog ^v^
-Devoted12- replied to Zignibar's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Please don't pointlessly bump your blog every 10-15 mintues. Wait until your blog is well off the first page before you bump it. If you do decide to bump, try to add some commentary in there also. I removed the useless posts. Good luck on your goals though. -
Split the General Discussion board

I believe you don't recieve post count from that forum. :-k -
If you surround yourself with immature people you are sure to have an immature person interrupt you. I have loads of mature friends. Quiet frankly, if you aren't mature, I won't add you. I always have great conversations with them. The trick is to hang out in less populated areas. I never hit the busy spots unless I want to bank real fast. I tend to stay in the less popular areas. By doing so, there are very few people and my friends and I have great conversations. Clan chat is another option that is used frequently. And finally, PMs. Do all this and you won't have to worry about the "immature" kids. Sure, they are out there, but they are easily avoidable. Surround yourself with mature people and you will have mature conversations.

What do you mean? Not allowing people to post because of how old their account is very cruel. :shame: And, once again, there is no reason for this. Just let users post their threads as they please. When/if they spam, report it. Then, leave it to the mods/admins to take care of it. We will give proper action depending on the ammount of spam they produce. There is definetely no reason to put ANY restriction on posting. Whether it be join date, post count, or any other thing you can think up. This forum is pretty free how it is. Just because one user has spam posts doesn't mean another new user won't. If I had something I wished to share and had to wait 3 months or 50 posts in order to post it, I wouldn't feel it is worth it. Plus, either way, spam will always be existant. If you make a post count requirement, then some will just spam stupid comments which cause mods more work to delete. What's worse, a couple of spam threads or 50 posts that are all, cool, what's your favorite color? OMG! Etc. 50 outweighs a couple by a lot! Definetely not worth it. Join Date is out of the question. Any period of time in order to post is barbaric. All in all, I feel that we don't really need this. One way or another, there will be spam. The easiest thing to do is report the post/thread and let the mods take care of it.

Orange - I love Construction and Runecrafting Then I am Yellow

But maybe only have that in affect on certain boards, like general and off-topic; so that users would be able to post a question in help/advice, that sort of thing. That wouldn't stop the spammers at all. If they couldn't post on General or Off Topic, they'd post somewhere where they can. It doesn't make a difference to spammers where they post as long as their point gets across. Basically, there's no great way to go about this, so I don't feel we need this. I love the freedom we already have in this forum. If there are spammers, report the threads. That is what us mods are here for. :)

Do you put experience before the actual enjoyment and fun?
-Devoted12- replied to ewan's topic in General Discussion
As I always say, "The fun is in the journey, not in the destination." It is a lot more enjoyable making friends along a journey to making experience. For instance, I am going for 99 Construction. The fun of going for the skill is all the friends and people I chat with during 99 Construction and my attempt to raise the cash through Runecrafting. Let me tell you, I have had LOADS of fun times Runecrafting. This is the journey. I had fun during the journey. Once I get 99 Construction, the destination, will I be happy? Yes, of course, but when I have my party and all my friends show up, I will be reminded about all the fun I had, not that I am getting the 99. I will be reminded about the fun stories that happened in my journey. It sure will be great getting the 99, but that's not what makes the fun. It would be no fun just snapping my fingures and magically being to where I want to go. It's fun if you have to actually work for it, actually earn it. -
Please use this sticky... Missing Persons Thanks!
