  1. Well, I logged on and forgot my membership ended today, and I don't have the time to renew it tonight. How could I forget something such as that lol. :XD: So, there will be a runecrafting level tommorow! :) I am also going to put some mahogany into my house. :) I have been spending some time cutting my own logs on Ape Atoll, and I have recently planked them. It's time to make my house a little bit nicer and not so empty. :) I may post pics, but my house is still under so much Construction that I'm not sure if it will be worth it. :XD: Well anyways, look forward to a level tommorow in Runecrafting! Level 63! :o
  2. Well, if you plan on cutting and planking your own planks, it will be much cheaper, yet a lot slower. If this is not what you are planning on doing, then you will need to buy oak planks 400 ea. (the cheapest) So, let's do a little bit of math. :) (These calculations are only if you plan on buying oak planks from players 400 ea.) From level 5-50, you need around 100,945 Experience. This will take around 1,683 Oak Planks. If you buy the planks at 400 ea, you will be spending around 673k. This is the fastest method. If you don't wish to buy the planks, you can cut your own oaks and then plank them for 250ea. I would rather just fork up the money, but it is up to you. :) Now, to train. Training Construction really does vary. At level 5, one way isn't too much faster than any other way. Just make anything with oak until you can make Oak Larders in your kitchen. Do these all the way to 50! They are the fastest experience in the game (using oak planks) until 74. At 74, you can do Dungeon Doors, which are faster. (Just an FYI incase you would like to know.) :) Construction is an enjoyable skill, have fun training it. :D
  3. This feature would be very helpful to me. I always wondered why they didn't have this feature, but I forgot to suggest it. Good job! :) Basically Skatedog, the search feature can help if you are searching for a particular topic. If you know the creators name, type it up. By doing so, it will show all the topics he made, not posted on. I have gone numerous times just trying to find a topic I created awhile ago or a friend created. I would search my or his/her name and 40-70 pages would show up. It would be much easier to search through a Author's Creations search. By doing so, it will eliminate almost all of those pages, thus, saving you loads of time. Very good suggestion! :)
  4. Okay, thanks for your nice input! :D Sorry if I came off mean, that wasn't my intentions. I was just trying to explain my situation and show why I would hopefully accomplish where so many others have failed. If I came off mean, my apologies to you. That was not my intentions. :) I am currently really enjoying Runecrafting for the time being. I know as time goes on, this opinion may change, but it has been enjoyable. Also, I didn't mean to say that Crafting wasn't your favorite skill. If you like the skill, or just want a 99, go for it! I just meant I would rather have Construction than Crafting. Simply because Construction is my favorite skill and I enjoy it more than Crafting. :) Once again, sorry if you misinterpreted my post in a mean since. That was not my intentions, and I hope you will understand that. :D Well, thanks for your support none the less. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have around 50 more pages to read in this book until it is finished. So, I will finish up those, and start to Runecraft! I may be getting a level today if time permits. :D
  5. This article was alright. The humor was fun to read at points, but there wasn't anything too special about this article. It just seemed like I was reliving the days where I didn't know anything about the game at all. Was it humorous? At times, yes, this article was enjoyable. I just miss the actual serious, well thought out articles. There have been some lately, but with The Editor's "disapperance" I have to agree that the interesting articles have decreased. Personal insults are wrong! :shame: Misplacedme is doing a wonderful job. As time goes on, the ammount of interesting topics decreases due to them already being used in an article. It is definetely a hard job to think of an interesting topic every week or so for an article. Misplacedme is also in charge of the site I am sure you use. That site is up and running because of the quick work of him and the crew. Without them, this site would be nothing. He is a great Crew Leader. Give the guy a break. Until you step in his shoes, you will never know how much pressure and stress he is recieving because of Tip.It. He is a regular person just like you or me. He doesn't get paid for all this, he is strictly offering his time for a game he no longer plays anymore. (according to what he said in a post) That is very noble of him in my opinion. Keep it up Misplacedme!
  6. Yeah, I just calculated that I can recieve around 1680 nats an hour with NO distracitons whatsoever. No lag, no PKers and Super Energy Pots. It will be hard to get the hang of at first, but you will slowly become an expert. :) Thanks! :) The 99 Construction sig is just a sig to show off my goal. As you can see below it, it cleary states to visit my skilling blog to 99 Construction. It is just sort of an eyegrabber. Haven't you ever seen a magazine with a HUGE Title on the front and then when you read the article, it isn't what you expected. It that false advertisement? I think not, an assumption was made between the title and the actual article by the reader. See my point lol. :D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, my membership ends tommorow, I will renew it buy I may be too busy to do so tommorow, so I may be memberless tommorow. Oh no! lol. :XD: I am planning on Runecrafting all night, so hopefully will get a lot done before I decide to go to bed. :) Thanks for the support everyone!
  7. There are many methods of Nature Runecrafting. The fastest is by using the Abyss and all the pouches that are available to you. I can craft 42 natures (level 62) a run. This is with an ectophial in my inventory, which I highly suggest. It has saved my behind a couple of times. If I use Super Energy Pots, I can normally do one run in a minute and a half if I am fully concentrated and not browsing these forums. Therefore, I can usually craft around 1680 Nature Runes an hour, which is pretty good. Also, I use glories. If you use house teles or tablets, it will slow down the amount of runes crafted an hour. The amount of glories you have stocked in your bank also will change the amount of runes you can make an hour. You should have between 16-As many as you want if you want to Runecraft effectively. The less glories you have, the more you have to recharge them, therefore slowing them down. Have fun with Runecrafting. I will be there forever to. Point's at sig... Going for 99 Construction. #-o lol
  8. First off, it is very hard to get 99 Hunter in two weeks? Is it possible? Definetely, all I have to say is you have to play a lot in order to do so. Okay, This is the method I used to get to 83 Hunter... I did Spotted Kebits at level 43. I then switched to Orange Salamanders due to overcrowding and my hatred of Falconry at level 47. Either method works fairly well. There is not too much of a loss depending on whichever method you use. Just do whichever you like more. I caught more Falconry at level 57. This is because you can now catch Dark Kebbits. This will increase the experience. So, just catch Dark Kebbits and Spotted Kebbits at the same time- fairly fast experience. At level 62, I went to Red Salamanders. I highly recommend you do so also. The reason for this is that Hunter is a VERY popular skill. Many people are training it for the ability to catch Dragon Imps, it's profits, and the "easy" experience. Some days, you can spend an hour or two just trying to find a world that you can hunt red chins in. That time is totally wasted, which, at the moment, is a big deal. So, I hunter Red Salamanders until level 70. By that time, red chins are much easier to catch and are better experience than the Red Salamanders. From then on out, use Red Chins. Be ready to do a lot of switching. Good luck on 83 Hunter! :)
  9. Hmm... I have never really checked. It really depends on if I am browsing the forums or not. I will see tonight though! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, today was another fun packed day! I will be on later tonight to Runecraft, but for the time being, I need to read 50 pages in my book. :)
  10. I really haven't lagged all day. I wouldn't count on an update occuring over the weekend though. It has happened before, but it is very rare. I would guess the update will come out on Monday or Tuesday like many others have stated. Only time will tell, but I am willing to bet on it not coming out this weekend. It would be hard to pull off such a big update (if it is as big as they say it is) over the weekend when staff is most likely short handed. (Simply because on weekends, you may be given the days off.)
  11. You could always chat with them ingame. :) (Just not through PM's) So, I would just hangout with all my friends when I want to talk to them. I do that as it is anyways, but it would just complicate things a bit. Would I quit? The simple answer to that is No.
  12. This is the method that I created. The best part about it is that I didn't need any food. First, I wore a mystic skirt and a mystic hat. I wore a rune plate as protection there and a rune kite. I then was protected against range and range fairly well. So, I prayed Mellee. Now, for an attack plan! I used mage against the Giant Scarab. The spell I used was Iban's Blast. It was very useful and amazing against the monster. I was hitting very high on him and it wasn't even a fight. The rest is fairly simple. I brought a one click teleport (ectophial) and some sharks just in case. Remember to only aim at the Giant Scarab. Once you kill the Giant Scarab, the other enemies will disappear. Good luck on the quest. :)
  13. After having a fun day with friends, it is time to get back to my regular routine of Runecrafting. :) So, hopefully I can get another 3k done tonight so I will make up for the day. :D
  14. Haha, thanks! :) I'll be sure to add you when I get on next. I have been busy today, so I might not be on until tommorow. #-o Thanks for the support~ :D
  15. Congrats on all skills 70+ Ant. :) Now go out and stay in the dungeon when it comes out. Get all the good drops and then donate them to my cause, 99 Construction. :XD:  But really, get rich when the dungeon comes out. I am sure there will be some good drops there. :)
  16. Haha! I saw this while viewing my post and was amazed that a Tifer would happen to find my post on the forums and relise it was me~ :) Thanks so much! That really brightened my day. Thanks so much! :) Haha! A house party sounds like loads of fun! I will be having a house party for 99 Construction and then I will be sure to host many other parties to show off my house and cape. I knew a couple posts like these would arise. I knew there would be doubt and I don't mind. I have to say, you and me could be totally different people. Where one person fails another could succeed. Just because you fail, doesn't mean I am going to have to fail. You really shouldn't compare me to you. I have methods so that I won't get bored. And just because "I haven't seen nothing yet," doesn't mean I won't succeed. I am sorry to hear that you failed in this quest, but I am determined. I actually don't mind Runecrafting when talking to friends. It becomes actually enjoyable. Construction is my favorite skill, so I love that too! I have fun with Construction, therefore, I am going for the skill cape. I hope you understand that I am different than you. Have fun with Crafting. :) wow there's a point.... ( I'd rather get 99 con than get 99 crafting though if it wasn't for the very high prices...) I agree with you Wouter. I don't really want a skill cape for a skill cape only! I want a skill cape that I am happy I have. I want a skill cape of my favorite skill. That's why I am going for 99 Construction and not anything else. It's my favorite skill. One fo the only skills I enjoy doing non-stop. ~Thanks for the support everyone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't know if I will do much tonight. I think I may go hang out and just relax. I will play, but not as much as I would like. Friends are calling for the day. So anyways, I bought 50k Pure Essence last night, and once all those runes are crafted, I will be able to buy 37,500 oak planks! :)
  17. Haha those were the good old days! :D I remember while I was stil F2P I raised my stats so I could get a lot of the quests done. Then, I collected supplies for Construction. Construction was the first skill I tried out as a member! Thanks Ant! Thanks very much chip~ :) Thanks! Yeah, it's hard making the cash, but it will be worth it in the end! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, today is more Runecrafting! :XD: Hopefully I wil be able to craft the rest of my pure essence so I can buy 40,000 more pure essence! Once that 40,000 pure essence is crafted into nats, I will finally train more construction! Those 40,000 nats will buy me 30,000 oak planks! :D Thank again for all your support! ~
  18. Well, here's another level for you guys! 62 Runecrafting! :) :D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ While also checking my bank, I noticed I had 10k nats banked. That's 3M in cash. I then took a quick glance at my cash and noticed I had about 1M. That leaves me with 4M! I can buy 10k planks! But, I will continue Runecrafting! :)
  19. Ha ha! Thanks! :) Thanks Val! :) I enjoy chatting and Runecrafting with you in game also. You always make everything much more exciting with your brainfarts and whatnot. :XD: I know, Runecrafting and Fun= Not a good combo.
  20. Basically, like stated earlier, this was in a thread not so long ago concerning this issue. This post was posted May 11, 2007. So, we really are jumping the gun a bit. They said that they would re-visit this subject every two years. That's good enough for me! Besides, my signature is wonderful, no need to make it any bigger. I totally agree with Darkblade concerning this issue. Here's the exact quote that I digged out. Good old seach button! :) A signature is just there for an introduction of yourself. It does not need to be a whole biography. Leave it up to your posting styles to determine the rest. I like the current signatures. I don't feel they need to get any bigger. I believe that in a year, when they re-visit this idea, size can be determined then. For the time being, the size is very reasonable.
  21. You can recieve the book from the Keldagrim Library. It's nothing really too special. If you would like to read the book without taking the time to go get it, go to this link. On the first page, someone posted the book in it's entirity. This link also discusses the possibilites that the book offers. The Book Pictures!
  22. I have always loved Construction as a skill. It is the rarest skill cape in the game at the moment. So, money will be gained through runecrafting. It just seems so much better than cooking in my mind. I want a cape that is rare as my first 99 or else I would rather not have a 99 at all. I never really liked party hats too much. I would much rather invest in skills than in a rare. Of course, I am sure I will eventually pick up some rares, but that is not my current priority. Thanks for the suggestions though, I always love hearing input. :) Thanks for the comment on my intro story. :XD: I had a lot of fun writing it. :) Thanks for your support! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am currently about 1.3k nats away from a runecrafting level! I have to read a little but more (50 pages) and I am also going swimming later today. I will be getting this level today, so expect it! :) Thanks for the support everyone~
  23. Thanks for your support wake! :) Thanks! Yeah, Construction comes at steep costs. It's expensive, but I am looking forward to the road ahead! 90 Cons! :D Thanks! :D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am runecrafting a lot today, but I also have to read a book. The level will be sure to come today, so expect it! :D Thanks for the support everyone!
  24. Today, I have been mostly trying to gather mahogany logs. I spent 2 hours trying to get the hang of Jungle Cleanup so I could enter the woocutting place there. After all my failed attempts, I packed up and left. I am now in Ape Atoll. I am cutting my first load, and will be watching a movie later tonight! So, this means I probably won't get much runecrafting done.
  25. Wow, I really like your stats! I am going for 99 Construction at the moment! It's going to be hard, but I am looking forward to runecrafting all that cash. :D Good luck on your goals, I am sure you will accomplish them all!
