I don't see it as spam either, but it can be awkward if I never have known the person whom I am congratulating through PM. It is this reason I would have to say no to replies in announcements. I don't see a problem with someone starting a thread in general if you want to congratulate someone. That's the way it used to happen. I wouldn't mind just starting up a topic in General, although it is is now Runescape discussion and Tip.It Staff isn't exactly Runescape discussion. If we could do so, that would be great and work perfectly. I just think there needs to be another way to say congrats if the user doesn't have a blog rather than resulting to PM's. I agree with you on this one pokemama. The way I see the latest updates is if the little tag is red and a new admin has posted. If users could post on that forum, we may not recognise a new announcement has been announced. That's why I suggested moving it later in my post if this problem were to occur.

I pretty much agree with Tripsis on this one. You should distribute your money to all the lower skills. My reasoning for this is with 3.5M in cash, it can raise those lowers skills a lot farther than you would think! The first thing I would suggest doing is getting your Runecrafting level to level 40-50. This should make you some cash, so you can add more cash to the remainder of the skills. Another alternative method is using the runes you crafted and raising you magic level for a lot cheaper than normal. Then, I'd try and get around 50 Prayer, 50 Crafting. You will notice you will have a lot of money leftover. Then, just use the rest of the cash on whatever skills you enjoy most. If you liked raising your total at a fast speed, I would continue raising your lower skills. If you like Firemaking, spend the rest on some logs and burn away. Doing something enjoyable is a lot easier than doing something that bores you. :)

Yeah, I agree with you skatedog. I think a lot of posts should be automatically locked, but I believe that congratulatory messages toward new mods/adminds/super mods should be available to all to post on. I can understand if the Tip.It staff would like this not to be changed because when any new updates occur, you will notice due to an Admins name being on the post on the Index Page. If this is the case, maybe we should advertise the staff elsewhere. If I am not on a friend to friend basis with a mod/admin/super mod, I won't be PMing them to say congrats. The post would be awkward to him/her and me. If the thread was unlocked, all would be welcome to post with no awkward feelings. It's just like posting on a blog of someone whom you don't know of. You would rarely PM someone saying congrats on 99 _____ if you have never talked to the person. If there were to be a thread though, you would feel more comfortable in posting your message. Also Congrats to the Super Mods too! Man, everyone is moving up the Tip.It ladder. :o

Hiya, With the recent upgrade of Tripsis becoming an Administrator, I noticed that we can't post our Congrats to the newest Moderator/Administrator. I know this is not a big deal, but I would like to be able to posts Congrats to users that have newly come into the crew. I feel that we should also be able to show our appreciation to the new mod/admin and not have to result to say congrats through PM. Is there a particular reason why these posts are immediately locked once posted? If it is not locked, only Administrators are aloud to post on the certain post. I like reading about the new additions to the team, but I don't PM them personally due to me not actually knowing them whatsoever. It may be a little awkward, therefore, my Congrats will rarely reach them. All people on this forum should be able to post the occaisonal congrats to the new team member. Maybe you could make that forum not effect your post count, so only members whom wish to post will. P.S. Congrats again, Tripsis. You will do amazing things as an Administrator. :) Thanks for your time and have a nice day. :) ~Devoted12

RS HiScore link not working - FIXED

I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Thanks Albosky, your work is very much appreciated! You are a great representation to the Tip.It's reputation, and we are all thankful for the work you do for us all! :) -
After much consideration, I have decided to also train Slayer and Combat along with Runecrafting and Construction. My routine for Runecrafting/Construction will be the same. Runecraft 2,500 nats a day or more. Somedays, after I Runecraft the 2,500 nats, I am no longer in the mood to Runecraft more, so I go to Castle Wars or something like that. To break this habbit, I will now be training Slayer and Combat if I ever need a break after my days work is complete. Let me stress this again, Runecrafting and Construction will be no different, so I will still be finishing this goal lol. I am just managing my time more wisely when I want a little fun. :)

Thanks! :) Well, last night all the power went out in my house randomly, so I couldn't put this level up and my story of an event for the day. So, here's level 62 Crafting... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Story time! After getting 65 Runecrafting, I decided I wanted to have a little bit of fun. I clicked my glory to take me away from the abyss, and when I landed, I was in Tip.It territory, Edgeville! I quickly banked everything I had and used home tele. After the spell was complete, I ran to the gates of Al Kharid. "Hello guards, how's your day gone?" "I'm sorry to hear you haven't collected in money for your kingdom. Hopefully your king will pity you. I just need to pass on by and I am sorry to inform you I don't have any cash." *I pass the gates for free* From here, I quickly ran to the Shantay Pass. Out of the chest I took my DDP++ and one anti-posion pot. I was determined to kill a couple of Kalphite's! "Hello, Shantay!" Yes, I would love to buy a pass for only 5 gp. Thanks a lot for taking away the warning message, I just dropped it anyways!" Through the pass I went, heading directly to the lair of the Kalphite. When I finally arrive, I remember I forgot a rope. Dieing of thirst, I had to run back through the pass and buy an overpriced rope, 19 gp, and another pass, 5 gp. That set my back on my Construction goal a bit! Back through the pass I go, once again heading for the lair. When I arrive this time, I throw my rope down the hole and climb down. Through the tunnels I ran until I got to the Kalphite Guardian. "Hello Mr. Guardian, Sir!" *I hit him with my DDP++* "Would you mind dropping me a couple of Dragon Mediums? It would really make me happy." I posioned the fiend and retreated to watch it die. 6 poison, 5 poison, 4 poison, dead! Hmmph! Only 132 coins, thanks a lot! *I repeat the process with another Guardian* Now, off to the actual lair of the Kalphite! Down the next rope, and I see the mighty KQ~ When I relised I was being poisoned to death, it was finally over, and the KQ finished me off. Fun night overall with a couple of levels. I'm happy. :)

Why couldn't you share the jolly ranchers? :) I'll enter soon. -
Paw Claw, you can catch more than 300 easily. It just depends on how devoted you are into catching the chins. If you constantly are in a chat, pming, or on these forums, the number per hour will drastically decline. Say you need to catch 30,000 red chinchompas, you will be level 95 Hunter by the time you catch all of these chins. Here is an estimation on how many chins you can catch per hour. This information is in a guide which I will give the link to later in this post. So, since you are starting at level 68, you should be able to catch about 160-200 chins an hour. This number will rise when you hit 74 to about 160-260 chins an hour. So, I am approximating from level 68-74, it will take you 12 Hours. I am doing this by taking the ammount of chins needed from 68-74 (2,378) and dividing it by how many you can catch an hour on average (200). You will get approximately 12 Hours. From level 74-80, you should be able to catch approximately 250 an hour. It won't be that much at the begining, but as your level rising, it will become more than that, therefore, I once again took the average which was about 250. This step will take you about 18 hours. From 80-86, you should be able to catch around 310 an hour. This step will take about 26 hours to complete. From 86-90, you should be recieving around 340 chins an hour. Therefore, this step should take about 26 hours also. From 90-95, which is the final step, you should be catching about 390 an hour. This step will take 44 Hours. Therefore, you are looking at a grand total of... 126 Hours spent hunting chins! Of course, all this information can be altered. It truly depends on how much devotion you will have towards this. If you are Hunting very hard, the hours will decrease noticeably. If you are with friends, Pming, chatting on chat, the number will increase noticeably. Now, if you wish to increase the ammount caught an hour, make sure you use the correct clothing. Here is also a guide which is very helpful. I disagree with where he put's his boxes, but all of his other tricks are very useful! Hunter tactics to catch more Red Chins an hour! Furthermore, here is how I like to set up my boxes, along with most of the top Hunters, including Momeydragon... X=box .=one space X . X . X . X . X Only leave one spot between each box. So from this x... X To this x... is only one square. X Another thing that will slow down the ammount caught per hour. I don't know about lately, but when I hunted, which was about a month ago, the spots were very hard to fine unoccupied. This will slow down the Hunting a lot! Keep that in mind! Good luck with Hunter! It is an enjoyable, fast skill!

Thanks Val! :D Yes, I saw your thread in the General Discussion section. I am sorry to hear that. If you get back, I hope you complete all your goals. :D Good luck getting the game back! Uhm, stat bars... I think they are on the first page, but they haven't been updated, so I will do that now. I may put a couple below my siggy once I get higher up in the levels. It just seems too soon right now. Now, I don't really know how much essence I have converted. :x I know at this moment, I have about 10,500 Nats in my bank. Before that, I had another 5,000. Before that I had another 5,000 to pay for all the essence. Before that I have no idea lol. So 20,000+ Nats were crafted. :D Thanks again for your support! Thanks tintin! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, I have to work for some of the day today, but when I get back, I will get myself right into Runecrafting! I am about 20k away from level 65 Runecrafting, so I will hit 65 Runecrafting today! ~Thanks for all the support guys and gals.

I finished the quest, and recieved my 11k Herblore Experience. Unfortunately, this wasn't even close to bring me up to 52. So, I just decided to buy 200 Super Energies. Sold my 16k Willow Longs and bought the energies! :D I have managed to Runecraft about 1k more nats. I am expecting to Runecraft atleast another 1500 tonight! :) At the moment, I am cashing in a couple of crystal keys and will have someone make me two more glories! :D So, after cashing in these keys, it's back to Runecrafting for me! :D

Thanks Jem! :D It's been nice talking to you ingame! :) Thanks for the support! :o Haha! Thanks very much. I can't wait to buy more planks and raise it more. :D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well, I am going to be on and Runecrafting most of the day! Hopefully will keep the nats rolling in! I will also be doing Eager's Ruse quest. I need to raise my Herblore because I am out of Super Energies and Runecrafting is so much more enjoyable with them! :

Thanks! :) No problem, I know getting RC Pked stinks. I don't see how it's fun to pick on people whom can't even defend themselves. I'm happy you got all the valuable stuff back! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As promised, 64 Runecraft. Thanks Val for Runecrafting and seeing my level with me. Much appreciated. :D Moving on up!

Thanks very much! Should be getting 64 tonight! \ Haha! I am ready to get back to Construction for awhile. Most of my 99 Construction goal has been Runecrafting so far. Anyways, hopefully you'll give me a PM or talk to me on Blogscape when you are Runecrafting! I wouldn't mind joining you if you need the company. Runecrafting is 10x better with friends. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Like I said, I should be getting 64 Runecrafting tonight! I have to finish up writing what happened in that book on a notecard, then I will finally be finished! :D
