Up to date pc specs, on a budget??
They are even worse value for money. 250GB @ ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã45 = ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã0.18 per GB 160GB @ ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã36 = ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã0.20 per GB ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã80GB @ ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã30 = ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã0.37 per GB So you are getting half the storage per pound than with a 250GB if you get an 80GB.

I put Vista on it and hated it.

A 150GB hard disc is bad value for money.

Posting Real Life Pictures
Surely the most dangerous thing is allowing people to post their own domains, since anyone with half a brain can do a whois and find out their exact street address. Fact: people who are interested in finding you don't need you to post your details on a forum.

Animal testing - right or wrong?
That wouldn't happen though, rocketman089. If it couldn't be tested on animals it wouldn't leapfrog straight up to testing on humans.

Hypothetical Scenario: If Tip It got a membership program?
Not only would I not pay for it, I'd leave. I wouldn't want to be part of a forum that was managed in such a way.

Do you have a cell phone? What kind is it? Do you like it?
I wouldn't, that device is getting outdated fast. It was around when I was getting my XDA 2i. Have a look at this site to see what devices are set to replace it.

Animal testing - right or wrong?
Ohh, I thought you meant they made food which made animals ill. They have participated in animal testing, but you can trust that site you quoted to put it in a very biased way. Here's something provided by Iams: It seems animal rights groups have been making stuff up again. Boy are they good at that. Looks like that's not all they've made up: They don't have their voice boxes cut out, they are modified.

Animal testing - right or wrong?
Can you substantiate that?

I have an HTC Universal. Before that I had an HTC Alpine. Both are great PDAs but mediocre phones.

Take the TIF OT quiz.
Really good quiz Rick. I think I will have got about 17/20, again not bothering to sign up though.

A good power supply is essential. It's the one thing you don't want to skimp on. For my budget system I just bought I paid ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã64 for the PSU.

Just got another machine for the sake of redundancy, something to fall back on when my main is having problems. A64 X2 4200+ 1GB GeIL DDR2 800 ATI X1600 Pro 2x 250GB SATA2 discs It's going to have XP Pro on it for now, then Vista to replace it, then I will have SUSE10 as well perhaps.

disk checking??
It happens when windows doesn't shut down properly. The way to get rid of it is to shut windows down properly and do the check if it is asking you to.

Animal testing - right or wrong?
I already gave the statistics for numbers tested upon. 1 million rodents is nothing compared to the billions of people that are benefiting from treatments developed through animal testing each year. They are not dumped, they have to be incinerated.

List the programs you hate!
Realplayer Quicktime Sony Sonicstage, not that I've even used it - I have just seen it MSN Messenger Gamespy Anything people have to force you into using because it's not good enough for you to want to use it of your own accord. The same goes for anything that is packaged with another program "Do you want to install Gamespy Arcade?". Anything that adds itself to the context menu and won't let you remove it without uninstalling. Anything that adds itself to startup for no good reason.

Animal testing - right or wrong?
Test it on poor animals, or not, and let poor humans suffer instead. Could you form a more biased sentence?

They need to be the same brand, type and possibly batch to run dual channel. You could perhaps buy a 2x 512MB dual channel kit, run those in dual channel then have the extra 512MB that came with it on the side to make 1.5GB, 1GB of which will be dual channel.
-
Up to date pc specs, on a budget??
I couldn't comment on that because I don't know Intel. Yes, but not in dual-channel mode.

The Sempron is very much outdated, what's more it is the budget processor with less L2 cache. Depending on what money you have I'd go for a socket AM2 dual core CPU, 3800-4200 or so. That should be under ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã120 if you get it from the right place. I would also get big-name RAM such as Corsair value select or GeIL value. The ATI 9550 AGP is very outdated as well. You should be getting a PCI express motherboard and graphics card. With regards to the hard disc, 250GB drives seem to be the best value right now, you can get one for around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã45. You do need to get a new motherboard if you're looking to upgrade. Make sure you get a socket AM2 one with a PCI express slot and SATA2.

Animal testing - right or wrong?
You go to the site, you scroll down to section 2.18 then you read it. It says that 50 million rats are used worldwide every year. This means either one rat per 100 people per year, or one rat per person per 100 years - it is to show how few rats are used compared to how many people benefit from the discoveries.

Animal testing - right or wrong?
http://www.armyths.org/ - section 2.18: 50 million rats per year worldwide, that's one per person per 100 years. Given the benefits of this research that is nothing.

Shockwave and Advertisements
I am pretty certain it isn't the graphics card, the very fact that there's a ? there means that it is a software problem. I'm also pretty certain that Shockwave doesn't use DirectX.

Shockwave and Advertisements
This must be the first time I've seen someone unhappy about not being able to see adverts.
