  1. We will sort it out for you :) Thank-you :D
  2. I won that cape competition, and I believe the reward was your picture in the first two rows. I've already posted a picture (the cape entry), should I post one more, or will you guys take care of that?
  3. Here: Its not 10m, its only 100k and a few needles. From Xx Jut Xx's runescape site. Exactly, so it's no rumor after all. Thanks for clearing that out (and for the nice picture! :o)
  4. Muddy keys would open the muddy chest, containing the oh-so-rare dragon items and of course holiday rares (this one was made up by scammers) A player who got 99 thieving had the ability to completely loot your bank account (I must admit, I really fell for this one) Casting high alchemy on leather gloves turns them into gold gloves ("Converts an item into gold") There is no possible way out of Draynor Manor, once you've entered. If an item's on the ground, and doesn't get picked up, it appears in the nearest general store, once it has disappeared. When you catch a fish, you have exactly 48 hours to eat/sell it, or it will become rotten. This one's not really a rumor, it's just a stupid misunderstanding. I asked a guy from my class how me made his money. He told me he made his money by delivering newspapers. For a week, I walked around RuneScape, searching for this newpaper job. Turns out my friend thought I meant real money, not RuneScape money. He was a paper boy in real life =D>
  5. Ahh, where to start..? :) Every new account that hits a so-called 'Jagex-magic-number' starts out with a santa hat. What a 'Jagex-magic-number' is, I'll never know. But it didn't stop me from making three new accounts and logging on the tutorial island to check  Knife + Chef's hat = White Partyhat, anyone? Back when the Halloween event 2005 was released, the reward, a zombie head, would make a joke about how it hurts his hair when you're holding him, and that he'd prefer a handle. Players were deliberately ruining their pickaxes to get axe handles (not tradable back then I reckon), and tried to use it with him. I think that a Jagex mod had to explain that it was a joke :D This one's one of the new ones, so I'm proud to say that I didn't fall for this one :P Anyway, if you gave a dog (this was before summoning and the release of pet dogs) enough bones, it would become your pet follower (remember, only pet cats were available as followers back then) In RuneScape Classic, a girl with black hair and all-black clothes would supposedly hit significantly higher than other characters. Change the color of partyhats by using a dye (Note: This might actually be true, but I've never seen it) Back in RuneScape Classic, you could, when in a trade, offer an amount like 1000 nails and 2000 coins, and if you were standing by a wall (this is where rares were traded back the, the Varrock castle) the color of the nails would blend in with the color of the wall, making it impossible to see, and it would seem that you were offering 20001000 coins instead of 2000 coins and 1000 nails. Can someone confirm this? I think there's some truth there... I'll post some more if I'm able to remember them.
  6. I like the fact that everything's somewhat random in this event. I mean Jack Frost could be anywhere, how great is that? :D Also, the name of your imp seems random too, and if you click on another person's imp, your imps will have a conversation :)
  7. Read the message on the wall and shout into the pipe :
  8. Have you been in the Yeti-room? Maybe you need to see it in order to unlock the stone moving.
  9. [hide=Rewards] Here's the reward with a santa hat And the quest reward [/hide]
  10. [hide=Quotes] nice lvl that ! what u smithing? Iron ore --> Iron bar --> Iron knives Do people who train smithing this way use rings of forging, or is that just a waste? [/hide] Not using rings of forging would be a giant waste.
  11. No, I doubt I'll be going for 99.
  12. How many I made? Since when? I just started smithing again a few days ago. But from level 84 to 85 I've made 18k-ish iron bars. I'm yet to make knives.
  13. 'Cause I made a whole bunch and added them, but they got deleted when the forums were hacked. Or whatever that was... I still have 'em, I'm just too lazy to upload them.
  14. nice lvl that ! what u smithing? Iron ore --> Iron bar --> Iron knives
  15. If there's gonna be a raindeer, it'll be a reward from a Christmas quest. Just like the Halloween broom. You know, the whole "If-you-didn't-get-the-reward-subscribe-to-get-it" thing. That's the way Jagex rolls now

  17. - I was positive that someone would post a thread about this before me. Nobody did, which is why I'm posting it now (too late?)- Hello. Back when the november edition of Behind the Scenes was released, this part caught my eye: Now I know many of you might not care about this, because of the new grandmaster quest coming up, but I sure do. First of all, let's have a look at the Thanksgiving event: - It's only available for a few days - It's holiday-themed - There's a 'special reward' So it's basically a holiday event as we know it - only way shorter. It also said that there would be more of these small celebrations to come. Any ideas on what these could be? Perhaps New Year or Saint Patrick's Day? If this is the beginning of new holiday events, I'm looking forward to them. Christmas, Halloween and Easter would, of course, still be the biggest ones, but smaller ones like Thanksgiving would be mint.
  18. A friend of mine told me that the G.E. had been decorated with skulls for Halloween. After calling him an inbred moron and removing him off my list, I decided to take a trip to the G.E., to actually see if this was true... You decide. I'm still not convinced. Even if your imagination manages to make this look like a skull, I'd still say it's a coincidence.
  19. Awesome, Vey. Huge congrats :D You just keep going, don't you? 10/10
  20. I was looking for clues at the HAM camp. I got one, but unfortunately I couldn't do it. So I dropped it, and 5 secs later... Hehe
  21. ^Congrats^ Has anyone noticed this? I'll be there - the first one to enter and HYT me gets a cookie. Too bad you're not allowed to talk there : EDIT: Well that was fast - we have a winner. [hide=Gorgonzolach, take your prize][/hide]
  22. Way to miss the point  Anywho: Drop-trading noob: "How dare you be level 3 and have more than 100k? Drop trader!" Running noob: "U'r rnning from one mning rock to anuda?! OMG that's SO noobish! You only run 'cuzz u knowz I're bettar minar!" Spelling noob: |-|()\/\/ [)4|23 `/0(_) (_)$3 |_3773|2$?!
  23. Nope. a) I've had it since RuneScape Classic B) The evidence was a conversation. But I haven't thought of it that way. Junkie Joe + Drugs = Mute?
