Hehe, thanks, but it's only for one day, so I guess I'll manage. It's my one and only account. It's my main account. Besides, does it matter? I'm not ranting about my account being muted, I'm ranting about the reason.

Well, up untill now, I've always wanted to know how muted accounts work - As of today, I can honestly say, I know. As I logged on my account this morning, I noticed that I had two messages waiting for me. I logged on to read them, and it said that a) I've broken a rule B) "Changes" have been made to my account. Not knowing a thing about how it's like have a black mark, I logged on the 'Appeal an offence'-thing, and I demanded the evidence. What I've done, I'll mention later on. As I was about to log out, I say my perfect 0 black marks was now 0.5 :cry: Little did I know that right below, it said that I was muted for 1 more day. MUTED! I went to see the evidence again. It was a minute-long conversation. It was just an everyday conversation with one of my good in-game friends - We were at the Duel Arena (being a level 3, it was my first time) and I just couldn't resist calling him (my friend) a "Level 83 narb, and I'll pwn u!" I doubt this was the reason why I got muted. Anyways, the evidence also included my very own definition of the world 'Cool'. Surely, nothing was offensive there, so I won't even bother writing what it was. Then, after reading the whole conversation twice, I noticed the sinner - I was doing the Snowman Dance emote, and I said that I looked like I was on drugs. Now I KNOW that you shouldn't mention drugs in-game. But c'mon! It was obviously on my own behalf. I said I looked like I was on drugs. This is just too much! Why, oh why, would ANYONE find this offensive?! I did not point my statement at ANYONE. I was about myself, therefore nobody should find this offensive but myself. Is the word "drugs" itself offensive? Who are we trying to spare here? Surely, our RuneScape player (Who is 13+, let's not forget it) knows about the word "drugs". They need to know the word, in order to associate it with 'bad', or whatever they're told. In a way, I'm glad that Jagex gave me the opportunity to see why people are accusing RuneScape to be "child-friendly". I logged on briefly, just to expirience the feeling of being muted. As I walked around, I saw several players actually offending eachother. Life-time ban, please? I do not wish your sympathy. That is by no means the intention of this thread. I just wanted to clear my mind. I'm sure alot of people will tell me that it's my own fault. To that I reply "Thank-you, Captain Obvious". Of course it's my own fault. I said one the 'No-No-Words'. And I shall take my punishment. Even thought it's just stupid, I understand that there's nothing I can do now, but to stop using the words, that Jagex considers to be offensive. Well, that'll take a proper chunk out of my vocabulary, but I'll manage. Why not block out the word 'Drugs'? If the word itself is offensive, surely it should be sent to hell by the almighty chat-censor. I'll stop here, before this becomes a suggestions-thread. Kudos to he who reported me though, I hope you get that little silver crown you're hunting for. Promise me, that once you get it, mute EVERYONE for saying the bad words. Sarcasm is the Devil's work, so please strike down on that too. If you've read the whole post, you deserve a cookie. I know it's long, but I needed to clear out my mind. It's not possible - You need 76 strength to even start fishing sharks bare-handed. And even if you were to start with the lowest bare-handed fishing possible, you'd need 35 strength.

Jagex IS doing what's best for the game. Do you think they did it for the money? 'Cause removing the wilderness and 'free trading' isn't going to win them more subscribers. Their move against RWTing is without doubt for the best of the game. And would people please stop saying that RuneScape is ruined? I have nothing against people saying that PK'ing is ruined, and 'free trading' is ruined. But saying that RuneScape is ruined, is plain... Idiocy.

According to the interview The Tip.It Times made with him, he wasn't the first to get 99 smithing, but smithing was his first 99 skill. He was the first to achieve 99 slayer though. As for the cape, I made a picture of it a while ago (and posted it on another thread), and this is how I imagine the cape and logo would look like.

Although the macroers were hated for filling up the training spots, this wasn't the main problem. The number one problem was the fact that the RWTers could transfer money from their accounts, to their buyers. Therefore, Jagex removed every possible way of transferring money (with nothing in exchange) from one account to another. Removing skills wouldn't help at all. The gold farmers would just find another way to make money, leaving us with the same problem. And if Jagex was to remove every skill used to make money, we'd have to live off the drops we receive, and with no fishing and cooking skills, we'd have to buy our food from the shops. And since there's no way to make money anymore, we'd have to... Well, I don't know what would happen then. Bottomline: Removing the skills would do nothing but harm the game. Now I'm sure somebody will say exactly the same about how removing the wilderness did nothing but harm the game, but that's an eternal debate.

Well, since my private chat is 'On' all the time, I get alot of scammers and beggars messaging me. Since this scammer was so obvious, I decided (and I suggest that You all do this, when a scammer, patheticly, wants to scam you. It should provide you with a decent laugh) I'd play along on the scam, to see his reaction. Of course, I didn't enter any of the sites, nor should any of You - Warning!: Do not enter any of the sites mentioned in the picture - they will steal your account, so don't even think of it :XD:

Let's leave it here, shall we? We agree to disagree. Even though it doesn't matter now, I figured I'd add that I was a steel bar merchant, and that I (easily) sold the steel bars for 650 each on the forums.

We're having a discussion, not an argument. I bought 200k steel bars at 620gp each the week before the G.E. was introduced. When it came, I went to check the price of steel bars. They were 570-ish each with 610gp being the highest price possible. Now, they're 534 each, with 570-ish being the top price.

I should have spend more time on it lolz. :mrgreen: And why I'm doing this? I just wanted to see the reactions, and you're pathetic because you're very, very addicted to this game else you won't be upset about this. :shock: First, you make a silly fake, and when your cover gets blown, you start attacking me... We have something to keep the prices down now. It's called the Grand Exchange. Seriously though, the prices have never been lower... At least the prices of the items I've been buying. Thats just the nature of the grand exchange. Using forums/banks and having to hop worlds and move around meant matching up a deal was alot harder and the effort involved in making the deal was much harder.Plus f2p was largely excluded from the market. With the GE you can just throw up what your buying or selling and it does all the work you meaning it is alot less effort, meaning more people sell, meaning tht prices drop Yes, this causes the prices to drop further, but it had to start somewhere. The G.E. started off with low(er) prices. The 'less effort'-thing has just made the prices drop further.

I wonder if this thread will become as popular as before... Anyways:

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before (I haven't read all 21 pages), but has anyone noticed this picture? Anywho, when you try to save it it says 'Fruit Bat'... And I'm positive it has something to do with Summoning, since it's connected to the Summoning diary...

It's nice to hear that you had a good time :) I don't agree with any of the threads, though. RuneScape isn't the worst thing in my life, nor the best. For me, RuneScape is just... RuneScape... :?

+1, my favorite part in Hamlet is when he becomes suicidal after getting banned from the Runescape forums. :XD: On topic: I think it has something to do with how bad the offence is... There are many muted people out there, able to use the forums... :-k Might I ask what you did to get muted?
