JoeDaStudd, while Vista allows you to use the full 4gb instead of 3.3gb (ish), it still isn't any faster. XP runs much more smoothly and is faster for games. Also, DX10 is only available on MOST games when on higher settings and doesn't actually look much different while it uses lots of memory and power. Ultimatly, it's down to Denismage to decide which he would rather have. I built my new PC with Vista, and got sick of it. So I switched back to XP pro. :P

Hah. Yeah, Easter is always fun [/sarcasm] Trying to skill while surrounded by n00bs doing Easter emotes etc. :P And I also agree, tomorrow seems likely. Usually updates are on a Tuesday, but JaGeX phail with a capital L recently.

Not true, I cannot stand BA despite being rather good at it. I felt it was worth getting for general Slayer, and I'm sure others do too. Whether or not an item is worth obtaining is purely opinion. :) Or statistics. Like having to get 132.5 million combat xp for the torso to pay off. Any maths student knows statistics are [cabbage]. :) There are many other variables to consider besdies XP. ;)

My spec: AMD 780g Motherboard NVIDIA 9800GT 512mb AMD Phenom x3 2.3ghz 8650 Gateway 19" wide & Acer 17" Hitatchi 150gb & Freecom 500gb Kingston 4gb RAM @ 1066 Soundblaster x-fi live Logitech g9 laser gaming mouse Logitech media-600 keyboard Creative Fatal1ty headset Windows XP Professional SP3 I just C&P'd that from somewhere else, that's why it has all of my spec. Anyway, I built that for around £500, or $700. I estimate you'll get a SIMILAR set-up, slightly lower performance for around $400 - 500. I can run Crysis on medium at 50FPS no problem. Crysis is one of the most performance heavy games out there. Hope I've helped :

update your Java, and possibly re-install Opera. I once had a similer problem with IE. My solution, switched to Firefox. :)

Should be intresting. I haven't been too impressed with previous Easter events, however I feel something good about this year. Maybe it's simply the fact that I don't really care about RS anymore. :P Any speculation as to what it might be? Personally I think that crazy half-wit of an Easter bunny will lose something again, and make us find it for a price such as an outfit. :x :D
