  1. I don't have turmoil or extremes, so I only know of my armour.

20 seconds doesn't make any difference... Honestly, if you don't know anything about keying, don't post... Or you could, you know, just ggs tele? You could do that too, and it will probably be better than what that guide suggested. I usually use that guide just as a refresher on how to work with teams. the guide I actually follow is on the Runescape Official Forums. Just wondering, about how long does your average large dungeon take? I don't use world 117 anymore to do large dungeons. I have my own dungeoneering team and it usually takes me 30-40 mins to complete a large dungeon.
  3. Downgrade to V skirt because it is better or just to save? Because I could just buy Tassets and when I have the rest of money for Turm I could just resell Tassets. True, it's just bandos is dropping pretty hard right now. You could probably rebuy it later for much lower. Torso+fire cape > prossy+sw cape for slayer. Oh, and add a rapier in the mix. I use SW cape with Torso because I always use Piety so I don't want to waste too much on pots. I'd love to get a Rapier but my computer is bad so if I go into those big worlds I'd lag extremely bad. According to bladewing, "are you saying that veracs and proselyte has more strength bonus than bandos? because last time i checked prayer bonus doesn't help you kill monsters faster. bandos + fire cape is the best armor and cape for melee slaying on every task but waterfiends. they use more prayer potions (15 doses of prayer potion, worth 24k gp, per hour vs. proselyte, verac's skirt, and SW cape), but they actually help you kill monsters faster. technically overloads are always the best to use. however if you do any amount of boss hunting, even if you used the overload method to 99 herb, your overload stock will inevitably be depleted. my personal choice is to use overloads whenever i am cannoning and meleeing, like black dragon tasks, bloodvelds, etc. and to use extremes on uncannonbale tasks." But your gear is fine.
  4. I usually see people do c1 on floors 1 to 29 and c6 5:5 large on floors 30+, and that is how I also train dungeoneering, and that is what I recommend to a lot of people as well.

That's what you're supposed to do if you don't have enough room for a key...
  9. If the only goal is to train combat, especially through slayer, what use is the money in your bank while using gear that isn't as good as the gear you can afford? Give me one time when spending all your $ is a good thing? Its always a good thing. Having something that allows you to gain faster experience or gp is better than having a useless pile of cash. So let's say you have enough $ and charms for a certain summoning level and once you achieve that certain level, you will be flat broke. Would it still be worth it, and if so, how? If the person is getting the summoning level for something that can help profit such as a yak for frosts, even using welfare gear with the yak would be worth the cost of getting 96 summoning. Btw, when I said you, I meant me. And my Summoning is 73, and I have enough for 79. So you're saying I should spend all my $ on the summoning lvl without having any left.? Read what I bolded in my last post... Alright, true enough.
  10. When buying gear, bandos for an example. You can always sell it, so technically you're not spending a nickel. So if you're buying gear, but also need some $ for something else, you should still buy bandos and risk having no $ left over?

  13. I only cannon Spectres and Bloodvelds.

  15. I am just arguing in general. If you have just enough $ for bandos, then obviously you shouldn't spend all of your money just for bandos.

"As keymaster, you should own all of the keys on a floor. Nothing messes up this role more than having four different players all carrying different keys and nobody knowing who has what. That doesnt mean you necessarily have to always have all of them in your personal backpack. In fact, there will be times when it makes sense for someone else to grab a key from a room or take a key to unlock a door in part of the dungeon. But you should know where all of the currently outstanding keys are. If someone else gets a key, ask them to drop it at home or when you next meet up with them. Some players will react negatively to your being possessive of the keys. Simply explain that you need to keep track of all of the keys to ensure you can unlock doors quickly when they are found. Most decent players will understand that you are being anything but selfish. If they dont, then just offer to let someone else do the task, because if you cant rely on players to keep you informed about keys and where they are, this role is a real nightmare. Its not a bad idea to ask once or twice during the raid if anyone has any keys. Ive heard many tales of teams where a lot of time was wasted being stuck because some player had a key in his/her inventory and forgot about it." Quoted from The RuneScoop Ultimate Skill Guide - Dungeoneering.
  17. You should have suggested Verac's then. Prayer bonus > Defence bonus. You should be using piety/turmoil anyway. And strength bonus > prayer bonus. Almost all of the top ranked slayers use Bandos for that reason. That said, other things come before Bandos in terms of priority (like extremes/turm) Bandos is already going for 80/20 on W2, so I'd say it's a good idea to sell now since it will be 80% of its current price in a few days. And since you don't have extremes, I'd suggest training herblore until you can get them. New boss will inevitably raise the cost of prayer and herblore. I highly doubt a paltry +6 str bonus of bandos would make any significant difference...
  18. I will have to disagree with you. Even though Prayer Potions are cheap, saving money in the end is always best. I second wearing Prosy Top and Verac's Skirt. So spending an extra 24k per hr for faster kills is too expensive? Faster kills means more exp per hour and more efficiency, especially when the deciding factor is only a 24k loss per hour. How does a +6 str bonus make any significant difference?

  20. You should have suggested Verac's then. Prayer bonus > Defence bonus. You should be using piety/turmoil anyway. I usually said Torag's because I only recently found out about Verac's Skirt and Pros Plate.
  21. Yes thank you to someone who understands that barrows > bandos I've always believed bandos was inferior to barrows. Whenever someone suggests slayer gear, I always say get Torag's instead of Bandos. :P

Willows would be very good to grow as the seeds don't cost as much and it is skill about 2.95k xp when you check its health.
  23. Thank you man. I appreciate the support. I do plan on farming on the side as well. Any other suggestions? EDIT: I updated my first post with gear, and specified the questions I need answered.
  24. I have been forced to quit rs about a month ago, and now I can return in a few more weeks due to a change irl. I was wondering how I should make $? I have 3.1m currently with 7.5m in my Kingdom. I will take out 6.225m and leave 1.275m in my kingdom, which means I will have around 15m by the time I come back. Please do not suggest Green Dragons as I will just ignore that advice. I've done enough Green Dragon killing in my rs life. All other suggestions are open. I would also like to know what I should do on my account, as in: what should I train?; how should I train that skill?; where should I train that skill (this applies for just non combat skills)?; and what should I upgrade in my gear (gear will be listed below)? I already plan on getting 81 Dungeoneering for a CR and training my melee combat stats via slayer with some ranged and mage depending on the task. My stats are in my signature. Also, my melee gear at the moment is: Slayer Helm (soon gonna be full) Glory Fire Cape (gonna get it back soon) Abyssal Whip Rune Platebody Rune Platelegs Dragon Defender B Gloves D Boots Warrior Ring Please don't suggest Bandos Armour because I won't get it. and my Ranged gear is: Slayer Helm (soon to be full) Glory Amulet Rune Crossbow Ava's Accumulator Broad Bolts Unholy Book Black D Hide Body Black D Hide Chaps Explorer's Ring B Gloves Snakeskin Boots I don't have magic gear, so I need suggestions for it. Please answer all of my questions. Thanks.
  25. Proselyte Top and Verac's Skirt should be enough for most tasks, so I'd go ahead and buy those before the Zerker Ring. After you get those two body armour, I suggest making a bit more than enough $ for a Zerker Ring before actually buying. You don't want to end up having no coins left. Generally, I buy a less-than-needed item after I make about 5m more than that item's cost. That way, you will have a decent amount of money left.
