That's for sure. But... one more quest won't stop people from getting members! If they like the quest, there's chances they go and get a membership, unless they can't! Same goes for bankspace, a new skill, maybe not skillcapes.

It's a win-win-lose situation, for people like me who mine essence. Autoers obviously mean price drop. When I was hacked, I mined essence to make my way back up and get a solid money basis. The autoers meant bad money for me, so I ended up in an iron chain, a black longsword and boots killing hill giants under the laughter of the people around me to make money. Everyone's happy right?

Like the randoms and such, this would be a speed bump, and it would hurt players. They'll come back later. This is only a large speed bump. Stopping players from making new accounts is just a large speed bump like this one too. Maybe if Jagex Google'd "Runescape macros", they would easily find the websites that give the macros. Sure, some macroers make them on their own, but I think this could stop quite a few of them. I recently sent 10 websites through customer support, and I haven't been replied to yet.

Nicely thought of. However, in most places in the wildy, it wwould be tricky to find a cat visually. Make it invisible on the radar, and you see 7 guys jump of a spot and turn into level 113 who hit more than 60 on you altogether. That just wouldn't work.

I understand for skillcapes, in fact, even members did without it before the update didn't they? Now for the forums, I beg to differ. If you have a total level requirement, or say, two or three 60+ skills, or something alike, you'd have more reasonable people in the forums that could suggest awesome things and provide sane-ish feedback.

They do not keep the economy steady. Say all bots are bannished, except yew bots. Purchase power for yew woodcutters goes out of hand, because all prices raise. Now say, all bots are bannished.
