Oh I thought you guys were talking about the boots... Well yeah the inseam's long, won't be when I wash them though. I like my cuffs to be big.

The cuffs are big? As in too tall? Personally I think they're not that great, but anything better would be uber-expensive anyway.

Also, if you look good especially in terms of the clothes you're wearing, American Apparel will be eager to hire you. They'll even ask you if you want a job.

Avoid heavily distressed jeans in combination with formal items, especially if black. Posting WIWT in a second. [Edit] [hide=can't be bothered to put my clothes back on] [/hide]

lol But seriously, Giordano's not that kind of guy, I think he was being ironic.

Be careful with this, it's a lot easier to go overboard.

I smell like my laundry and I keep my clothes clean. Believe it or not, I get a solid amount of compliments on it. I don't like wearing scents or smelling them in general.

Have you been eating less? How are you holding up with the breakup?

They sell for about 15$ each, right? I'm getting it to wear under a Breton stripe sweater. It has a pretty scoopy neck so shirts look pretty weird under it, and it's not warm enough to wear on its own, so I'm getting a crew tee that will make it look like the sweater look like it has a really large neck ring. I might even permanently sew it on.

Speaking of t-shirts, anyone have a favourite brand which sells many colors and isn't AA? I don't have a problem with their tees, just want to know if there's anything else out there.

I think it's too skinny. Obviously don't get a 3" tie as it'll pretty much eat you whole, but strike a balance between the two. Lent, that's pretty much what a trend is. I think the conclusion we can come to is that if something is trendy, that doesn't mean it's not timeless.

Sure raw denim is a trend, just like desert boots are a trend. They won't be "in" in a decade, maybe. Does that make them bad looking? Nope. In fact, most of the washed jeans out there try to mimic them. I wouldn't say you won't be able to wear raw jeans at all in 10 years. Of course, I'm not saying raw jeans are all you should wear. Ideally I'd have one pair of rinsed jeans, one light wash (someone with a 32" waist get these [bleep]), one raw, and one black or grey. I'm just making the case for quality. Zapatos Del Barco aren't too bad, I don't dig the frayed edges though.

That's a shame. I wanted to be able to wear them with jeans, which ruled out black for me, and I wanted something more interesting than brown. White shoes are fine as long as you don't have an orange tan and gelled hair. I don't like the make of the loafers in the first place. I really feel bad for ripping on you.

Then you'll only have dark neutral colors in your outfit, bad idea.

From the posts I've read it looks like that won't be an issue in the near future.

^see? Don't be afraid to come off as just a tad arrogant. If you're funny, people will like it.

Black waistcoat, closed, open or a mix of both depending on your taste White shirt, preferably point collar, sleeves rolled up to elbow, two buttons open, tucked if you wish. Tie: none Blue jeans of any classic wash, but I'd be more inclined to wear dark blue jeans rolled at the ankle Black dress shoes

You just don't understand why they look better I suppose. Pre-faded jeans don't look anything like raw denim after a year. (15 months) Notice how the creasing actually matches the fades, whereas if you were to buy whiskered jeans and let them crease they wouldn't match. No offense, but your outfit is essentially what I see every clubber wear, though maybe a bit louder.

Any cold neutrals. I don't like mixing warm colors with gray. Otherwise, greyscale with all ends of the spectrum. For example, Black crewneck sweater, white shirt, gray jeans, black belt, white shoes. Also I don't like gray jeans, much more fond of totally black jeans.

I'm not saying your friends are jealous. They're just cracking a joke, nudge nudge and all. Crack a joke back, in the form of "you jealous?" or, if it's a girl teasing, say "is she making you jealous?" (even better, as it's making it sound like you're a catch).
