Yeah, IIRC Bloodredsword suggested APCs. If you get them, remember they're vanity sized, so get two sizes below yours (they go down to a 26 tag size, so you should be alright). Don't wash them at all, until at least 6 months after you've bought them. More info in this post: http://forum.tip.it/topic/263545-the-style-thread/page__st__720__p__4661346#entry4661346
  2. Does it suck less when it's a "less advanced" country? Admittedly it has lesser economic repercussions on other countries, but your point still stands.
  3. Good on Google to have put the tsunami alert on the search page.

You can wear a necklace as long as it's not something cheap and showy in my opinion. Established is a rigid expression for a TIF style thread, y'know. Copped the same desert boots as Sam. 55$, +15$ shipping, from superfuture.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgdTymCZowU#t=0m15s see 0:15 Also, Hurley's v-necks are not kick-ass, I have one. It's so rough I could grate cheese with it now.
  12. Just a piece of advice I'm giving you right as you're starting: use your fretting hand pinky. Get used to it. If you don't start using it early, it'll hamper your playing because you'll find workarounds using your other fingers. Whenever you have a 3 fret interval, as such: |-------------------------------1-2-3-4| |------------------------1-2-3-4-------| |------------1-4-1-1-1-4---------------| |2-2-5-5-5-5---------------------------| Try to use your index for the first fret, your middle finger for the second fret, your ring finger for the third, and your pinky for fourth. Also, once your right hand starts playing "on its own", start learning theory. http://www.musictheory.net/

Yes we have, I must have said something along the lines of "any ostentatious jewelry on guys is tacky IMO".

Nice job not using an apostrophe, you uncultured savage. I remember that one time when you said you got mad when people capitalized your name. Or something.

J'avoue. Not gonna lie though, I've always liked arts and crafts.
  17. It's likely because she knows if anything doesn't go as planned she'll be the one taking damage. In this situation: - he writes an apology - parents somehow get angry - she's the one who'll take the consequences Her parents aren't reacting rationally, so she probably doesn't want to take risks. Just my two cents though, I wouldn't know.
  18. You can't expect to understand someone who's in that situation. Besides, when you have no support from your parents, your best bet is to go somewhere else. Breaking up with your boyfriend defies that logic.

I think the contrasting leather is what made it look bad, as well as the cross-stitching. Also, instead of having the coin/card patches centered, they should extend all the way to the edges of the wallet, like in one you might get at a store. It's the fact that it's obviously an amateur job that makes it look clunky. Nevertheless, it would be pretty cool to make your own leather accessories, I've wanted to try it out for a while now (especially since my belts keep breaking).

Also, manliness gospel aside, this is pretty dope: http://artofmanliness.com/2011/02/24/weekend-diy-project-how-to-make-a-leather-wallet/
  21. That's what it seems to be. I would say two different things are measured in each column, also.
  22. Seems like a heap of bar graphs to me. Horizontal axis is time in hours, I assume. Instead of having a long-ass graph, every 24 hours, the graph is broken and continues below, so instead of going: 0-6-12-18-24-30-36-42-48... The axis goes: Day 1: [0-6-12-24[ Day 2: [0-6-12-24[ Day 3: [0-6-12-24[ Day 4: [0-6-12-24[ I'm assuming this is particularly useful for things that follow a loose daily cycle (sleep patterns, eating patterns...).

Say the length between your crotch and your ankle is 30 inches. If the inseam on your jeans is 32 inches, you have two inches of break. On the picture I posted, no break. As far as I'm concerned, sockless is fine in the summer, and I'm all good with not having any break, but I think both at the same time looks bad, simply for the same reason I'd prefer not to wear pale peach socks. It's a bright flash of a color that usually doesn't fit with the others worn (on the picture above, pale orange and khaki?). The texture of skin doesn't sit right with the fabrics, either.

I just put them in the freezer, that usually kills whatever's lingering inside (though it doesn't clean the actual filth that the bacteria feeds on).

Post examples of it looking good.
