I think it depends on how tall you are. The leg opening won't be the same if you cuff them 4 inches up (what's the inseam) and if you don't cuff them at all.

Are you sure New Cures will be to your liking, Blake? They're really really skinny.

Seersucker is very breathable, but most seersucker shorts are very short. You could also try seersucker pants, like L.L.Bean Signature's. They're not white and blue, don't worry.

Word to your mother. I recommend a blue sports coat, black is a bit austere. Will post again later in the day.

Does going mainstream mean you are destined to be hated?
I find it all the more funny that no matter whether you like or dislike [cabbage] pop musicians, it's still helping them get cash. Case in point: Rebecca Black. To everyone who [bleep]ed about her for days, thanks, you're the reason why she's in the process of making another album. If there's one thing boysloveme15 taught me, it's that negative attention is still attention. Which she/he got from Lady Gaga. Who in turn said Rebecca Black was a genius... Rambling over, let this thread not go off topic.

Not a fan of the back pockets. From what I've been reading, they're overpriced and the fades are mediocre to bad, but at 53% off it's not a bad deal. Also, elastane will usually [bleep] up your fit. Hold on your dough, look through Styleforum, Hypebeast, and Superfuture to find what you want.

This whole album, but more specifically this song. Easy to find on mediafire, not sure you can even buy it anywhere.

[bleep], did I laugh. Heaven and Hell is a pretty solid album, too. This is live footage with studio audio, by the way. Don't pretend female metalheads aren't hot.

This shirt: http://www.rugby.com/shop/item.aspx?productId=11127909&categoryId=3372180&cp=3138868 White jeans/chinos. Khaki jacket; Rugby's least expensive costs 200$; it's pretty rugged and casual. Brown leather or D-ring belt. Bass weejuns, probably brown. No/no-show socks. Navy knit tie if you want to make it really preppy. You can change the colors to make it more muted as this is pretty bold, but yeah, that's it. Not all of that is going to last you a long time (I'm looking at you, Weejuns). You're going to be spending a lot. Hold out on the jeans for now, I'd say. Look on Superfuture, shopanaffordablewardrobe and Styleforum to see if anyone's selling what you need for cheap. Don't compromise on fit.

I'm not. It's Ellen and I, for [bleep]'s sake. Just kidding. Not gonna hide I don't know where that's going to go, but congratulations anyway.

8 oz. N&F Linen/Denim blend WeirdGuy. Looks like [cabbage], but you get the point: denim can be made in different weights and you're shooting for 8-10. Of course, the lighter, the more they rip. http://www.individualsole.com/2010/07/08/naked-famous-denim-32oz-jeans/ These, however, will never rip. Not sure if you'll be able to move in them though.

Ralph Lauren blue OCBD and dark grey Steven Alan shirt arrived in the mail. Bought them for 135$ shipped, good deal considering the SA shirt alone probably cost around 170$ retail.

It's a bit bland. Not sure how you can jazz it up... That's why I don't like hoodies and tees. If you're visiting Topman, you could consider getting some socks. Colored ones (they don't have to be flashy). Avoid patterns and textures.

I'm not a big fan of carrot fits, Sam. I'd say away from Topman in general, what they sell is usually overpriced trendy [cabbage]. I dig the rust/tan/brown combination though.

Deep leaf green, tan, Nantucket red, white. Eh, not sure what you'll be able to do with a 100$ budget. The bow tie was meant to make things interesting, I guess you could pick up a surcingle belt or D-ring belt as well? Or maybe a sweater is what you're looking for?

That's a funny picture. Shoes are going to be your biggest problem. I don't know what to suggest, throw me a budget. You could get a pair of chinos, a white OCBD shirt, and maybe a nice bow tie like people have been chatting about here. A blackwatch or green gingham pattern would be nice but I haven't looked at the fabrics she offers. Apparently, APCs are overpriced [cabbage], you'd probably be better off lurking or asking on Styleforum and Superfuture as I don't know enough about them.
