I figured you'd say that. :P Shin, I don't want to take sides, especially considering I agree with what I said to a certain extent, but you could help out ITT too.

Outside of fashion shows and gay clubs, no. Prep trend this summer = madras shorts with blazers. @Lent: /fa/ is 4chan's fashion board. It's pretty bad. I think he's saying your advice is self-satisfied and yet terrible, (possibly because of a certain lack of trendiness).

Shorts? Or are you not looking for anything fashionable?

"Sex appeal is fifty percent what you’ve got and fifty percent what people think you’ve got." ~ Sophia Loren & Marcello Mastroianni, as seen on "A Conversation on Cool".
  6. The girl I've had my eyes on lately is starting to get very attached to me. Everything seems so easy...

@Thammaron: I'm a skater too. Not a reason to wear XL on top and 510 at the bottom. Not that baggy t-shirts and leggings aren't trendy. Adrenal killed someone with a trident. He's wanted for murder. (That's what you get for wearing cargo shorts, son)

They're overused, too many people wear them on their own, especially skaters. I only have one plaid pattern my wardrobe.

For button ups, I tuck it in all the way if I'm wearing something over it, and I usually let it out if not. You can tuck it in at the front if it's not too long I guess, but if it is, I think it'll look weird, you'll have much more shirt on your butt than in front. For tees, if I need to show my belt (matches shoes, etc), I tuck in the front, but not the rest.
  10. You lost a loooooot of street cred in this one. :P
  11. I know it's not about looks, you wouldn't be this down if it was. There's really nothing else to do than to give yourself time.
  12. Got me for a second.
  13. You made me chuckle. He put it in a very cynical way, but he's right, there's more girls just as good as her, and then some. If you think this gaping pit can't be filled by anyone else, you're wrong. There's girls out there that can fill the pit twice.
  14. might be true, but those three months would be hella fun Read your posts ITT, it's not hella fun to be in a casual relationship with someone you're emotionally attached to.
  15. I wouldn't recommend to be FBs with her, it's just going to make you like her even more, emotionally too. If you're willing to deal with the heartache, then do it, but if you're not, I would suggest getting away from her for a while.

I think I read an article about that on Valet. Two adults stopped me on my resume-dropping stroll to tell me they had fallen in love with my style today. Guess what I was wearing (amongst other things, thank the Lord), rangeor? That's right. It starts with an F and ends with a lannel shirt. (for the record, I was wearing an open thick black cardigan, brown/black/blue accent flannel shirt, top button closed, tucked into my dark wash blue jeans, a red shoelace for a belt, white socks, red Vans Authentics, and my natural good looks.) Jackthreads is having a Cold Method sale. Worth noting are these two badass joints: Denim jacket, 169$, 499$ retail Gray linen jacket, 109$, 300$ retail All sizes are available, except XL for the linen jacket. I can't get this because I'm broke, but please, someone copppppp

Only if your butt doesn't looked [bleep]ed up in them. I see. I was referring more to, hmm, blazers and [cabbage]. Only XS are cut well to my chest. I need some muscle. Get your mens blazer tailored, unless the womens blazer actually fits perfect. They're also not designed with the same buttons often, if i were you I'd just go with the first option.

I'm going to suggest slims with straight or tapered legs, but not everyone's going to agree. It's for the young at heart, I guess. Yours flare out a little, they're a little wide at the thigh too. I posted something about the way I think your pants should fit a few days ago, read up. [Edit] Omar fails, he read half the post and thought we were talking about denim. postunderconstruction [Edit] [hide=Casual footwear (not classy at all)] [/hide]

Thammaron, i suggest you go to a hair-dresser's, preferably a respectable, expensive one, and ask him/her if there's anything you can do to remove some volume from your hair. Also, those shoes are designed for sports, not for looking good. Trust us when we tell you they don't match. I also hate jewelry on guys. Especially rings that are not a simple, thin tube. Looks trashy, I feel it's something you'd find in a Guess store ([bleep]ing hate that brand). Too much clash between formal and casual. Like a suit with sneakers. I'm just going the US team's sartorial failure here: http://sartoriallyinclined.blogspot.com/2010/06/2010-fifa-world-cup-sartorial-round-up.html

[/hide] Please, for the love of all that is fashionable, don't wear a blazer with a t-shirt. Never. Ever. And please, no "funny" shirts. Because guess what; they either aren't funny (this makes up about 80%) or the joke gets old after wearing the shirt once or twice. I agree. My first choice to wear with a blazer would be some type knit or a button-up. People do wear tees with them, I figured it looked weird, but I thought I was alone. And APC denim is like 160$ a pop , not everyone can afford that - any legwear over 100$ is too much for me. Scorched, I find three buttons on a blazer to be too much. I love a long lapel, so I'd say go for one or two buttons.
  23. Me neither. I wish I could, and so does my mother. I think the way my dad has brought me up caused this.
  24. ^I guess, yeah. That, and cocky/funny. I think I do it pretty well (I've been doing something right... :P), but there's always room for improvement I suppose.
  25. Yes, but thinking there can only be one lover for each person shows some immaturity in the way he views relationships. Therefore, considering most teens don't know what they're talking about when they throw around the word "love" and Jaker's view of it, I think it's safe to say he doesn't know what it is. Look, jake, it wouldn't make sense for you to be jealous if you didn't want to be more than friends. Maybe you're afraid it's not going to work out and crush your friendship, maybe it's the way you view love as a one-time thing, but you're not admitting that. As far as I can tell, you're in a kind of denial. And if you are, you're not going to get anywhere unless you face that.
