I'm dissapointed....
So, ever since Trouble Brewing came out, i've been wanting to try it. Finnally, today, I managed to free up enough time to get the one more slayer level I needed for rum deal, did rum deal and cabin fever, and made it to Mos'le Harmless. I head over to the distilleries on world 104. Noone is there. After all that hard work, I don't even get to play... Does anyone know a good way to find some people to play a round or 20?

Jagex officially rids their game of RWT's!
Actully I have a friend who always sucks up to Jagex... he claims that the revenants are good because 'he can't get pked anymore, and they're really rare' He claims that the loss of the old wildy is justified by Bounty Hunter, and he claims that Bounty Hunter is perfectly fine despite the fact that he doesn't want to try it. He claims that Jagex has always been looking to destroy merchanting. His justtification is that 'merchanting is scamming'. He says this because you are actully tricking someone by buying what they sell on the fourms for minimum price. How evil! Apparently, he also thinks hunting revenant monsters is a good source of cash. Needless to say, I disagree with him. But what really gets on my nerves is that this friend is the person that pointed the symbols on the mugs in the summoning dev diarys out to me..

Summoning Logo Found?
I think it's a howling wolf too. It has the general shape, plus it would make sense based on what we've seen so far. Of course, we'll all just have to wait until the third diary before we can really find out... and even then, maybe the fourth..

Summoning Logo Found?
Again, I must stress that I didn't find this, my friend did. (he uses tip.it as a help site though doesn't visit the fourms.) I can't take all the credit. :D

Summoning Logo Found?
My friend on another online game who also uses RS pointed this out to me. Look at the mugs on the title pictures of the summoning dev diarys.. They seem to create a conjoined circle with a sun in it.. (well half of one.) And since each is a quarter of one, and a quarter = four, and there will be four dev diarys.... Discuss? (and if this is old news, sorry, I didn't see anything else on this)

3 December 2007 - Behind the Scenes - December
I disagree. Random PKing will still be strong- this is just an opportunity for clans to have wars without having to worry about the risk of getting crashed. On another note- I suspect gravestones will be another gold sink.. 10 mil 4 Angel of Death pl0x? :wall:

The complete "Should F2P get updates?" Debate! 5,000 views!
Well, there are several things to consider here. First off, JaGeX isn't getting as much money from people who are F2P. Most of their income is from P2P. So JaGeX, by giving updates to members most of the time, is trying to get F2P to become P2P. Now, there are people who can't for various reasons, i.e, parents wont let them, already in a state of debt, or whatever. Those people therefore aren't influenced by the member's updates, and rather have learnt to live with F2P. It's these people that tend to want F2P updates more. Now, on the other hand, JaGeX can't give F2P a large number of updates. Why? Because as F2P gets better and better, people will stop subscribing. This may sound weird, but here's how it works: the more things everyone has, the less things are member's only. The less things that are member's only, the more people that think the Member's isn't worth it. Look at this for example: If JaGeX made everything but one quest F2P, then tons of people would quit members, because they would only be missing out on one quest. So a balance must be found, somewhere. I'd say, maybe 2 or 3 F2P updates a year. Now, it wouldn't be something like making Taverly F2P, but rather something like the SOS. A new dungeon... maybe a small quest... it's even possible that JaGeX might make a skill like Fletching F2P. It's doubtful, but possible. But to sum it all up, F2P isn't supposed to be 'Runescape for the Poor'. It's like a neverending trial version, where you can see what Runescape is like, before getting the full version. JaGeX wants people to be P2P. P2P gets them money. If JaGeX spends too much time and resources on F2P, then Members will start complaining, due to the lack of high-end members things, like the Plauge City questline, or new minigames. But, with all considerations taken, if you expect JaGeX to make tons and tons of F2P updates, then think again. JaGeX, like all buisnesses, want to make money. And as stated before, they'd rather use their time and resources on the version that gets them money. Well, thats my 2 gold pieces, hope you understand what I mean.
