...wasn't as you thought it would be? Let's post the oddest and most horrible ways that JaGeX could botch up summoning.... For Example: "Today we have released summoning! You'll also notice that all of your characters have been turned into random creatures! Now you can be summoned from wherever whenever your NPC master calls on you! Full details can be found in our new, shrunken Knowledge Base, as the only skill you have access to is a surprise skill! Yes, we are also releasing the 'Being Summoned' skill! Please read up on it in the Knowledge Base, as it is a massive skill that will mostly involve you looking out from inside of cages and being summoned every 5 minutes to do some detrimental task! In other news, plank making is now free and we have revoked the December 10th updates. Of course, they don't matter now since you are now Andrew and Paul's pets!"

I understand your point- but some people will jump on rumors and repost them because they are exited because they think it's true- I think that might have happened with you. OffTopic: I suspect that farming could be used to grow crops to feed your pets? And i'm still keeping my statement about a spider lured to maple trees with a whiteberry bush nearby is ridiculous.

Firstly, out of all the conversation, I never insulted you. In fact, you insulted me quite a few times. You also are not 'doing something' to tide you over. You have gotten quite more than a 'few' friends to attempt to spend all of their time looking for rumors. I also should mention that I never said the ban was your fault- I was talking about the other person I'm not naming for legal reason. You, even if you have not realized it, have changed a ton from when I first met you. If you read these posts, you will see what I am thinking of doing, Mech. If you cannot realize that searching for miniscule rumors and alienating someone who about a year ago you proudly claimed was your 'best friend' is harming you more than helping you, and if you cannot find what you care more about, then I see no reason to talk to you. However, following some advice from a good friend of mine who does not use these fourms, (and some other people) I am going to simply not interact with you until summoning is released. When it is, we can do our respective I-told-you-sos, get over it, and train together. As another wise person posted on this thread- this is not like solving the Da Vinci code. JaGeX has put a few 'easter eggs' such as the logo on the mugs, the pet shop, and the eggs into the game, but I seriously doubt they would go to such lengths as a spider that very rarely spawns when chopping maples on Miscilannia while you have a whiteberry bush planted there. They aren't releasing half of the skill- they are just giving us a few things to tide us over. And since you will inadvertantly start claiming that you obtained them from 'reliable sources', don't. People lie, Mech. They claim to be your friend to get at you. I've met tons of people like this, and i've told my fair share of lies. Well, more than that, but regardless, if the only place you've heard it from is maybe one or 2 people, I can't belive it. Especially when noone on this fourm has said anything about it. Because that's nearly impossible.

Probobly the latter. He wants to be 99 summoning first, apparently, so I wouldn't be surprised. Though it's more likely he'll get burned out at level 50, so who knows?

Probobly a young teenager. We both started before the 13 age rule was in, but no, neither of us are the most mature of people..

Well, that would make sense... in fact, as far as I remember, nearly every time we have an update, we each have different views on it- he loved the December 10th update because there are no pkers to kill him- he claims that merchanting is illegal because he never bothered to try it, ect... The other problem is that outside of RS, (we play other online MMOs together) we are incredibly similar- he's a great friend that I don't want to lose, but playing RuneScape has just caused too many problems for us.

Hi. I'm Sprout. You might remember me as the guy who got lucky enough to post the message on the mugs in the dev diarys first. I have a problem. One of my best friends has gotten so worked up into finding summoning hints, he has managed to completely remove me from his clanchat, just because I wasn't interested in looking for things. He's effectivly destroying our long friendship because of this... the reason I enjoyed the release of construction so much was because it was a surprise- same with hunter- it was released in the same month it was announced. But because he has found some of the little 'clues' that have been scattered around, he's convinced himself that there are tons of summoning beasts hidden in the game- usually with ridiculous requirements that he just HAPPENS to not have... This is caused by another friend of his, who, intentionally or not, is misleading my friend into beliving this stuff- this 'friend' also decided to start a vote trying to remove me from the clanchat- which before this whole charade was just a place for me, and a little circle of friends that we had to talk in. He decided to call a 'vote' to remove me from the clanchat. Interestingly, everyone I had previously spent time with in my circle of friends voted for me. Even more interestingly, I found that in addition to my friend, a bunch of people who never even met me before were voting against me. The problem isn't that i'm angry for being banned from the clanchat- I'm upset that my friend is being misled by this person into wasting his time looking for false clues. While the summoning hints were nice, personally, I would have enjoyed it so much more if they had surprised us like construction, or just told us in the BTS like hunter. (if this is in the wrong fourm, please move it) Does anyone else have regrets about being told? Personally, in addition to this, it's also agonizing knowing about something- because you have to wait. Discuss?

Technically yes, but it still doesn't really make sense... personally, I think steel cage should work like lesser magic does right now- lesser magic should work like greater does, and greater should have another bonus that I can't think of right now....

I recently got 63 construction, and built an oubilette (with tea). Looking at the things I could build made me notice- I can't actully use the cage by building a trapdoor until level 74! (with no bonuses) Does anyone else find this odd? What's the point of having an oubilette if you can't use it for another 9 levels?

You'll find that most of these are fake... but a good read none-theless.

I still don't get why everyone is saying that Archeology is a 100% skill... if I recall, JaGeX has said nothing about it, and it was just a suggestion in this forum? (if I'm wrong, please direct me to something on the main site) ON TOPIC: TBH, i'm more interested in how the skill WORKS... how we train it, what the different creatures do, ect. I'd rather read a KB article than look at extracted models. :P

Of course, if we had fireworks, we'd need a sky.... :-k

Sadly, noone i've ever met there actully RPs... it's about the same as the other worlds. (though I do meet some pretty nice people there) I'd love to have some more RPers come over here.. we definitly need it.

Well, I suspect JaGeX will try to prevent this by not allowing it to be trained via ToG, PC, ect for a month or so after it's release (like construction and hunter) to balance it out.

A cow with the smallest head ever.. yea right -_- a cow is white.. as you can see the image was blurred by Jagex.. so obviously not a cow.. Actully, that is incorrect. Cows in RL can be many colors, brown, blacks, white. OT: TBH, it looks like a yak... but we have a dungeon that looks like a dragon, so hey... who knows?
