What is the difference between performance in 32 bit windows xp and 64 bit winows vista? Will the vista be a lot better? And if I got Vista how would it change between home basics and home permium? If this helps at all my computer will have 4 gigs of ram, 500 gb hard drive, Intel Core2duo @ 3.16ghz processor, and a Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 Video card.

Okay, my dad is thinking about it now. But he told me to find the Dell computer closest to the one I'm planning on building and show him the compared prices.
