Just recently my ping started getting out of control at random times. Normally my ping for ventrilo is around 90. Right now it is ranging from 200 to 400 and I have no idea why. It is not just vent either, it is everything. When I go into cmd and ping yahoo I get an average of 307ms. But no packet loss. Anyone have any idea what is going on? When it happened two days ago it just randomly went away after some time. Powercycling my router and modem fixed the problem for like 10 minutes then it just shot back up again. Is it just charter internet failing or what? OS is vista 64bit.
