Revernants still overpowered (for sure in F2P)
Maybe I should have pointed this out sooner, but quite a few rune miners don't aim to kill revenants so they don't bring much in the way of armour or weapons - it would weigh them down (I have tried armour a few times and they still made minced meat of me :x ). Nor can they bring much food because they need space for rune ore. Sure it does sound like we bring trouble on ourselves. But it is much easier to survive a player than a rev from my experience.

I really hate that too. All it takes is ONE revenant VAMPIRE and my whole trip could be messed up! Might I mention I'm nearly 40 levels higher than it and I still don't stand a chance against it. It's almost as if they have level 99 in all of the combat stats which is weird for a a level 68. It's no wonder why runite ore costs more these days...

extra ge for p2p
Let's not get too carried away here. I'm stating that it would be nice to make thing easier, heaps nice. But sometimes a cost is too great and just because something is dying, we shouldn't try to kill it more. We should try to find a balance between the two. For example, we could change the layout of the Grand Exchange. We could move the booths to make an outer ring, or something along those lines. Everyone performing manual trades and chatting would probably hang out in the centre and the outskirts would be bustling with traders and people checking their banks. Anyway, I think that while the Grand Exchange is fine, I guess it could use something to help minimise the lag and keep people talking.

Tiny stalker...
you have to operate the amulet to summon him. It's sort of like ringing up a friend to come over in the way that you don't need to keep using the phone to keep them over.

extra ge for p2p
Having a few small booths does seem like a good Idea. Innovation and easy use are highly sought after in this efficient day and age, something that would make a lot of people happy, but for how long? If that were to be done, there would be no need for the whole Grand Exchange. By getting rid of the Grand Exchange we lose all of that central exchange and commerce between players and there would be less communication. People love communication. I think this "laggy" get-together is worth having, it gives players a chance to communicate and organise non-exchange trades. Yes, I think some of this communication isn't necessary (Why would anyone say "selling item X on GE Y price"? It doesn't really do anything.) but it seems like a better idea to have it in one place. As for grammar. A lot of people prefer to see grammar in it's proper form. Sure, call them fussy but it's kind of irritating to have to try and decipher a language they shouldn't have to and chances are your post will be ignored if you neglect grammar. By posting on a forum you say "I want people to hear my opinion" what good is it if people can't understand - or won't read your opinion in the first place? Yes, I changed the quote a little. I don't think that an attack on someone's stats or the use of profanity needs to be repeated.

I lost ... money when I was hacked (creative beggars)
It's really odd isn't it. They had money, and they knew how, why don't they do what they did before? What I like to do with higher level beggars is look them up on the highscores and judging from their stats tell them to do such and such to get money. Then they say they were given the account...

Combat Robe or Druidric Robe
Combat robes are better, in my opinion for one key reason, they have the highest magic attack bonus in FTP and the degraded form has the second highest, but yes, RC robes are pretty cool too - they offer the best melee defence for mages in FTP

Do you report players?
Yes, I report. Someone's gotta do it, otherwise RuneScape's community would be that bit more dangerous and distressing. RuneScape is a very big game nowadays and heaps of people play it, so if it's reputation is clean and it's players are safe everyone but the trouble makers will benefit. But it's not always black and white; not every player is really bad - maybe just a little hormonal, immature or just had a bad day and so taking away a years worth of work for that is just nasty. Offensive language and asking for personal details is probably what I report most carefully for that reason, before I report rule one I read on a bit more of what was said before and after - then I report, otherwise I may send an innocent person to the black hole (out of date, I know, but it's such a cool place!!) As for other reporting, not many bad rule breakers get past my abuse button!

Grandmaster Quest Theory
Hey, why can't people post theories here, it's not like it's doing much harm? Theories are fun - why not post your own theory about the quest here? Seriously guys, you're getting all worked up over something so insignificant, post positively, or just avoid topics like this >.>. OT: I figure that the quest may be the sequel to Dragon Slayer that was being much debated a while ago... and maybe it will be on the Kudos Island or whatever you call it... It should be fun!

Call to Peace
*starts sequel* As a free player I prefer having less to do - I normally end up doing less as a member because there is too much to do! No, Free players that want more aren't whiny tight[ASCII]s, they just haven't been on members - it's chaotic!! I'd rather play at my own pace than try to get more done because I've payed X money so I have to make it count. If it is because they are bored maybe it's time they either did pay, or, as an alternative, find new ways to have fun (cabbage bombing anyone? :D). Why not find members and antagonize them? Tell them "LOL you paid X dollars to have as much fun as I can?! FOOL!" Ok, just kidding but you get the idea, you can have as much fun on FTP as on PTP, there is no need for a free player to want more, and no need for a member to complain when the free player asks for something, or when they get it. I just hope FTP doesn't get as overloaded as PTP.

Heya all just wondering And dont BS on this
It was meant as part of the replacements for the December updates... Or at least that's what Jagex considers it to be. He was talking about this guy, who said stolen creation should be for ftp It would be nice, but I don't want to be overwhelmed like on members, it doesn't feel good.

Apeshit sacred clay (srry in advance)
I'm not sure if you've noticed yet, but it's the same few people who make these topics, they don't represent all of the free players.

Heya all just wondering And dont BS on this
I stand by what I said earlier, but man did I leave out the obvious - a PVP minigame, that's all that JaGeX have been churning out for FTP recently! (aside from the events, graphics, rc guild, various bug fixes, the occasional poll and the never ending barrage of new tutorials in lumbridge.) Shouldn't this be in questionnaires (at least a flame war is less likely there)?

Heya all just wondering And dont BS on this
Sheesh, can't you read a simple first post, or are you too lazy to challenge your wit? This has nothing to do with what FTP deserves - It's a prediction about what you think they might get next. On topic: I think FTP will get a graphic update, or if not; the Chrissy event (Finally! I can play Santa!) .

A New Ranged Weapon: The Boomerang
Boomerangs weren't made of metal, rather wood (and were cut much like arrows and bows were). They're probably too heavy to work as metal anyway, maybe it would be better to have say, rather than an adamant boomerang, a yew boomerang? Sounds like a good idea for a weapon though. The armour is my only other problem, having all that armour to defend against just one weapon seems a little pointless, maybe it could be in the form of lesser armour - a ring, boots and gloves. I support :D

Maybe it's his Halloween costume? :-k

Player Moderators: Are They Really Worthy?
[hide=Warning] Right, because doing those extra chores REALLY add to the depth of gameplay. C'mon now. Sure, it's not hard, but it's not exactly the most thrilling task in the whole world. It's tedious, regardless if you enjoy it or not. Chore? Seriously? If it's not thrilling don't do it. #-o [/hide] I think the point has been totally missed - the whole idea of "put yourself in their shoes" is that you imagine what it's like having to answer the same questions over and over, being hated by players just because some power hungry jerk muted someone's friend and all the extra attention you have to pay if you speak in a place like Varrock. Here's some more perspective: As a pmod, I don't like being treated as a "God" - the attention isn't always pleasant, but I don't hate answering questions, it keeps me mentally alert and spreads information - who knows maybe that person will answer for me next time? I also try to avoid a mute, making enemies is not the objective of a pmod - nor players alike. Drop the prejudice and go talk to a pmod - you might be surprised! This is all I have to say, I hope you can use some of the information.

Fate?
I guess this is one of those many things we won't find out. By the time we manage to either the human race will have died out, the universe will no longer exist or when we do find out the universe triggers it's "occupants know too much" fail safe and destroys itself. Interesting idea though - I likey! Now what would be interesting is if everyone checked their outcomes, changed them somehow and the time-space continuum warped and everyone, everywhere who ever existed meets up with us. But what about those from the future that never existed because of this change...? *gathers remains of fried brain and goes off to sleep*

Noob or Nerd?
Sure, don't wear it though, you'll get called defence noob . If you're dealing with these kinds of people I've found two solutions. You could: A.) Establish a friendliness with your opponent, chat a bit, use a little humour before it gets to the part where you need to resort to eating and praying, they'll find it that bit harder to be mean. or B.) Turn public chat on to friends/off and chat on a clan chat/private chat. Those should do the trick, good luck!

Stop telling free players to buy membership!
I agree with you here, FTP doesn't really need much more, and we don't honestly deserve it (anyway, the free version is just as good - I certainly like it just as much as members). I can understand when members are annoyed with Free players wanting stuff, just so long as when they post they don't post this: Yeah, it's annoying to read it and it just makes these kinds of threads turn into an uncivil war of internet cavemen... So anyway, back on topic: I hate credit cards (though it is the way I've subscribed), mail seems a bit too expensive to send around the world, and it could get lost, Pay by phone could be a problem if you make a mistake writing the code... I can't wait for the prepaid cards to be released in Aus - we have target so it'll be easy to get membership then (not that I will straight away, as I said - the free version is just as good). and finally, for those that disagree with my last statement, I leave you with 5 reasons why it is better 1. You can slow down and take a load off any time you like without the need to unsubscribe from anything. 2. Less activities and items, making it less likely to have the feeling of "OMG TOO MUCH TO DO!!!111one". 3. Your member friends have to come to your world when they want to meet. 4. You get more use out of your ignore list - even more for your no money! 5. Finding a girlfriend or boyfriend is very easy. (ok, not serious - do not get ideas) and one more, crucial one (I couldn't resist) It's Free!!!
