  1. 36k/h lol. Never hardcore grinded in my life.
  2. Everything written was mostly true tbh, he was mainly judging the population that idols maxed players not so much as the players themselves. But i mostly agree, the player i knew, despite spending all his time on RS, was a pretty cool guy and had nowhere near an egotistical personality. Don't exactly remember, but the guy is still ranked on the front page lol. It's not like he actually got caught.
  3. Not exactly. Someone on the front page was just a guy in high school who just played a ton of RS, before he decided to sell his account for 50k cash. To keep it up the top, you've got to put in the hours. Unless the guy didn't sleep, account shared or botted there's no way you can do that compared to the game time these players put in on a daily basis. All the guy did in his spare time was play RS, I don't know exactly how long he slept or how well he did in school but he definitely "put in the hours" lol. There are definitely people on the front page that bot/account share, but this guy literally played RS whenever he had any time at all.

    Lost 250m.

I decided to try and recover my password recently for fun, and apparently all it asks you is to enter your email address, and it basically lets you reset if from there. I don't see the point in recovery questions anymore?
  6. It just make things cost less due to increased supply.
  7. Replace the legs with black d hide and switch ur shield slot to a DFS or CKS. Rigour is basically a must too, unless you get 92 and just use curses the whole time. It's basically equivalent to the reason why pkers without at least piety will fail really really hard. You're gonna get hit to hard using only steel skin.
  8. You want to do everything that gives attack/strength xp before you get 75-70 att/str. So king of the dwarves, fight arena, the fremmy quests, probably some more....even if it doesn't give any reward you should do the quest anyway in case of further questline developments.
  9. They get picked because they are supposedly jagex fanboys, not turned into jagex fanboys because they were picked. I don't see what's wrong with demodding someone who doesn't like the company the work volunteer for, especially when it's one of the reasons they were picked for the position.
  10. I agree that the derivation is rather poor and I prefer the original game, DotA over it. Some things I haven't understood are, why make the fps rate so low per default? The movement is choppy, unlike DotA and I fail to see what the idea behind it is. I appreciate some things, such as the ability to hide in tall grass and the ability to tp for free to base and thats about it. Not being able to deny creeps also sucks, since that is was can make or break a game if you're good at it. Oh well, come DotA 2, LoL and HoN will die. I can understand if an outsider that never tried DotA thinks LoL is cool and fun. But if you played DotA and liked it, I have a hard time understanding the choice to switch over to LoL. Is DotA f2p?
  11. League of legends has a pretty decent chance at being RS for the golden joysticks for best f2p.
  12. No, it has nothing to do with actual content as much as just following their general policy against bringing attention to specific players. Obviously that policy didn't work, but it's not like they were trying to censor it because they didn't want people to watch the video. Ex. When i used to browse the RsOF people used to bring up threads specifically talking about Zezima, those got deleted because they didn't want to bring discussion about specific people because of privacy concerns or w/e (whether you think this policy is silly or not is irrelevant to my point), the same with jiblix. TBH it's not like the video showed anything 99% of all members RS players knew about anyway, jagex couldn't care less if people saw it or not, they just don't want the video to be associated with them in anyway, hence the demodding of someone who still represents jagex. It's been established before that there is, indeed, a difference between "They don't deserve to win this year" and "Don't vote for Jagex". Even if you could twist this into a defamation case, then it'd have to be dismissed since what was shown was nothing outside of fact. The issue of "free speech" is a non-issue when it comes to privately-owned forums. Companies have a right to decide which speech gets shown, and which doesn't. However, that only goes as far as the company's own slice of the Internet; anything outside of that is typically considered protected under the free speech clause. I also disagree in that it'd "be the same" as a famous player being banned, as this issue is a lot more hot-button than the whole Duke Freedom fiasco, as a for-instance. I don't know about the "forcing PMods to be loyal" statement - it certainly felt that way a while ago. It probably feels like that even more so. I mean, if you're not supporting Jagex, then you're basically a waste of space to them. There are plenty of other players who make videos saying like, exactly the same thing. It's not like they ban anyone who hates their company, or are against people complaining about jagex. I'm pretty sure i could make an RSOF thread complaining about bots and saying they don't deserve to win the golden joystick award and i wouldn't get banned or thread deleted. It would maybe ruin ur chance for a pmod position but that's about it.
  13. There's ways and means to do things. Going public and criticising on the net, viewable by all, when you're representing the organisation isn't a good idea. Even if I despised the company I worked for I wouldn't go public on ANY website about them. Not worth my job or in RS case fmod/pmod. Well, maybe he thought he had to? Maybe he flet used and neglected as a mod? It sucks that you're trying to help and because of that you can't speak your mind. I guess what I'm saying is that it's about degrees. I don't think the consequences were equal to the criticism. Intentionally trying to give bad PR to Runescape seems to be deserving of de-modding. To jagex, the golden joystick for whatever reason means something, so it was pretty deserving to them. @pal I notice the video is still up on youtube and they haven't removed it yet, so i don't exactly see how you can say jagex is trying crush free speech lol. Demodding in a silly video game =/= silencing or capitalistic oppression. Giving them bad PR? I didn't see anything in his video that wasn't the f2p game at any given time. Then he gave an opinion that wasn't trying to give anyone PR. And no, not in itself crushing free speech, but it certainly sends the message to other mods who might want to say something. "Toe the line or we'll toss you out." Personally, I'd love to see the forum mods go on strike. Let's see Jagex try to control their forums then, lol. And Pal, not they aren't turning into one. They've been one for a while. He tried to convince people not to vote for jagex in the golden joysticks, which to jagex anyway, means a lot. That's directly hurting their reputation. @pal I also don't see how hiding threads about the demodding is considered destroying free speech, companies never want to start any drama when someone gets fired and it's really not suppose to be anyone else's business anyway. It would be the same if say a famous player got banned for macroing or glitching, it's has nothing to do with whether it makes jagex looks bad. I don't have any problem with the video on youtube and i probably agree with it and think it has every right to be there, but it shouldn't exactly be expected for jiblix to still represent jagex after making it. I don't see why it's unreasonable for pmods, people who voluntarily work for jagex without getting paid and could leave at any time, to have to support to company. It's not like jagex is actually forcing them to be pmods/will ban them from the game if they're not loyal.

  15. Ranged tanks and zerks are probably the only builds you should be considering. Tanks if you just want to piss people off, zerks if you want to kill/rush ppl (tanks have KO potential at lower cb levels, but at 90+defence you basically just afk until they run out of food and tele). Effectiveness of tanks/zerks depends on which variation/specific levels.
  16. Runescape is fun if you've been playing like 5+ years. TBH if i was a new player in f2p i would quit after the first 10 minutes of killing goblins, I don't see the RS playerbase expanding anywhere in the near future (explains why RS combat lvl distribution is so top heavy and skewed towards higher level players). I'd almost be willing to bet that the majority of of members are 100+ cb and 60% of all people under 100 CB are pures/skillers.
  17. Volunteers don't have to agree with Jagex, but Jagex likewise doesn't have any obligation to keep them. If you go volunteer or do community service for any organization and then start bashing them you would get fired, regardless of whether you got payed or not. Also, I think like 99% of the playerbase ranting against bots does a pretty good job at being critics, i don't think a pmod making a video actively trying to make Runecsape seem like a heinous game to the entire world is necessary or beneficial. He has every right to do whatever he feels like, but he shouldn't expect to be under the service of jagex if he decides to take the "jagex sucks" route.
  18. THX for replies, and anyone know the street prices of the items right now? So far i've heard the b staff going for 100m-1b, boots from like 10m-100m. More importantly is the street prices rising or going down?
  19. What's the drop rate on armadyl shards/boots? Any data on the geepee/hr yet? Anyone know the barrows income now with ROTM completed and draken amulet?
  20. If i found myself not having the time to play RS or bored of it, I'd quit regardless of whether the game is going down-hill or not.
  21. Do you happen to be frustrated in anyway at all, bro?
  22. I use mystic and chaotic staff and splash a good amount still. I use ahrims with c staff/stream/unholy book, and with 99 mage and just a regular mage pot you rarely ever miss a tb or entangle on someone wearing d hide. Someone wearing d hide and a pickaxe without pray or food stands absolutely no chance of surviving.
  23. Mhing doesn't add any coins to the game, with the exception of the small raw coin drops (not coinshare).
