  1. Name a band that wasn't underground before they started releasing albums. For once I actually agree with what Lageris is saying... Scary. Haha indeed.
  2. That's not really hard. All you've gotta do is memorize 400 words or so? Much easier than understanding Chemistry, for instance.
  3. Why do you have to spam every single thread about international sports with american sports comments? This thread is about football and you are not welcome.
  4. Watch these, Matt. (I'm sorry... apparently, I was trying to keylog you and steal your r00nscape richies with these videos, if you still want to watch them, even knowing you WILL be hacked, I'll send them to you later...) I've got a problem with role models. As a child, I'd always pick the most cynical and mean people as role models... Now I've quit the idea of basing my behaviour on other people, that may be dangerous if you don't know how deal with it very well.
  5. No genius for you. :shame:
  6. Snakes on a Plane anyone? What kind of mobster would, even in his most insane spree, put snakes on a plane to kill a witness? Just shoot him, for goodness sakes! And even though it's completely unreal, or even because it, it's one of the funniest movies I've ever watched.
  7. Pink Floyd Deep Purple Black Sabbath David Bowie The Who
  8. What did you mean then? :P I don't get it. Haha I mean you listen to stuff that's so much less pop music-ish than the average tip.iter listens to. So it sounds like you are just being sarcastic saying you mainly like pop music, as an opposition to our "advanced" musical tastes. :-w
  9. My concept on Blackmore has gone downhill after I've watched his performance on Come Hell or High Water. As if his arrogant posture weren't enough, the band could get along very very well without him trying hard. His playing is brilliant on that DVD though, and his arrogance was partly what made the live shows so electric. You can't deny it's AMAZING when Blackmore walks out just in time for the Highway Star solo, and just rips it. Child in Time is unbelievable on that DVD as well. Haha indeed, the show is amazing. And you're right, probably Glover and Lord wouldn't have played with so much passion if Blackmore were in a normal mood. However, even though his attittude has made the show spectacular, it was terrible for the band.
  10. What? I'm dead serious. My main interest really is pop-music (as a category of course). 99% of the things we, the tipiters, listen to is pop music. From David Bowie to Slayer and to the Black Eyed Peas.

  12. That sarcastic lack of self esteem is taking you nowhere, Daan. ;P For me it'd be mainly Classic Rock and Hard Rock. Now I'm getting into some metal and progressive as well.
  13. Totally reminds me: Teenage Wasteland by The Who is freakin' awesome. Baba O'Riley  Mine would be: Knocking At Your Backdoor, Burn, Demon's Eyes, Child in Time and Speed King - Deep Purple Sultans of Swing (so corny yet so nice) - Dire Straits The Song Remais the Same and Black Dog(probably the most rock'n'roll opening ever) - Led Zeppelin Baba O'Riley, I'm Free, Won't get Fooled Again - The Who Sorrow, Interstellar Overdrive and Shine on you Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd Scartissue - Red Hot Chilli Peppers Rock you like a hurricane - Scorpions Baby Lemonade - Syd Barrett Grande Finale (on School's Out) - Alice Cooper [bleep]s and Beer - Frank Zappa Herr Mannelig - Haggard Gipsy Eyes, Purple Haze and All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix Cocaine and Sunshine of your love (those really sound alike) - Clapton Loads of personal favorites up there. :D
  14. David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust
  15. Sorry about all the spam I'm posting on this thread, but I have just set a new life goal: to immortalize this sentence, by Lionheart. "I deffinitly know how to use spell cheack and grammar cheack."
  16. Singers/songwriters. :-k
  17. I think what he was saying is that if you practice bad spelling/grammar online, eventually it's going to be transferred into your schoolwork. The better your grammar is online, the quicker it will come to you when it really matters. Exactly. I've decided to start typing properly, back in the day I played Runescape, when I caught myself writing 'u's instead of 'you's in my English test. And since then, forums have worked as the place where I practice my English --and improve it-- the most, since I don't speak English on my everyday life.
  18. Much hate in there I see, Lionheart.
  19. At least you aren't as bad as a friend of mine who's about to post something here.
  20. I'm sure there are better examples than this, but at the Monoco Grand Prix Shumacher had pole, but Alonso (I think) was doing a very fast lap which could have given him pole. So Schumacher's car "broke down" (he spun out and blocked the entire road, Monoco is a narrow course) which brought out the safety car and secured his pole. Everyone condemned it though as cheating. That and in several times when Barrichello gave him his position, and the victory, or blocked other car's passage.
  21. Where you read Raikkonen and Montoya, please understand Massa and Alonso. Thank you.
  22. Prog/psychadelic?
  23. Mind sharing what do you do with it?
