Did it, with salmons and no pots. Didn't even have a rune chain, used a mith pl8 (someone offered rune pl8 for my rune chain, so naturally i accepted). Had about 8 salmons left. I took a vid but it's not that great of a feat, so unless someone really wants to see it, i'll keep it on my comp... Anyway this can be closed, thanks for all the advice...

Okay, the quest guide for Shadow of the Storm says you get 20k xp in the combat skill of your choice, but I'm hearing a lot of people say that it's 20k defence xp, how is this decided? Do you just pick it at the end? Thank you.

Rpg, blue dhide would barely effect pures. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't change their max hit, just make them hit a little more often.

Blue dhide = pretty pointless, not much different from green. The pots I don't really care about.

If you have enough money just fun people for a while. Idk if you know what that means but it's just basically dueling without staking any thing. Get a partner if you can, and just practice.. oh, and one big thing.. make sure you're watching what rules your opponent is offering before you accept. I'm not that accustomed to p2p pking so you'll have to ask someone else about that.... Sry to hear you died, but you're not alone... I was training by a mage at the same place when he died, got 33k minds and 99k fires from the loot. :shock:

Oh I see, so you have to do 5 subquests, not the fifth.. gotcha. What's the str bonus of the bracelet? Couldn't find it in item base.

So I'm guessing that's a no? I think the quest for "mith" gloves is Evil Dave, right? Just making sure. And dstone bracelet is probaby in the millions, I happen to be pretty poor... :(

Nope, it's the 2h, not the ammy. They're still +10. For the 2hs, iron used to be +15, steel +23, rune +71, now they're 14, 22, and 70. I don't really mind it, I'm not some 2h fanatic that uses them all the time, I was just curious as to why they would make such a small change.

I don't know why I didn't notice it until now, but after Rs2 was released the strength of all 2hs went down by one. Why is this? Actually, I think it might be all weapons.... still doesn't explain it though.

Not to mention black knights are aggressive to people their lvl (33 i think). This mass monk trick would be a good idea, on World 1 there are always pkers going back and forth from wildy to altar, we'd get a good amount of attention.

Gotta love fooling people... :D I love doing this to people when I'm bored of training. Anyone else do it? We should have a monk party where all lvl 5s in monk robes with names somewhat similar to Monk walk around the monastery. :D

Again, good guide... changed my mind and am staying with a strictly ranging pure for now. Lvl 50 with 72 range, I've fought dozens of range/2h koers and haven't lost once (in fact, the king adam guy in my sig was a range/2her). Consistant range>Range/2h combo. But pure str>pure range in almost all cases so I die a lot to them. :x
