  1. To achieve this easier go to a computer that's connected to the router, type "ipconfig/all"(no quotes) into the command promt and then type the ip address that you find into a browser. This should allow you to access the router's config page(default username=admin/administrator and default password=password) and change the password. If there isn't a computer connected then you can run a program to find the password on a windows computer that has used the router, run a password cracking program(but this is very complicated) or reset the router via a button(but only if you have the installation disc).
  2. Glarys utilities has an uninstaller under modules>cleanup and repair>uninstall manager, this is what I use. Also Revo uninstaller is a dedicated uninstaller. These should allow you to access the uninstall wizards for your programs, but any mass uninstaller wont get rid of all your app data, they'll just butcher it up enough so that you can't use/see it. If space is the issue then maybe try using windirstat which will allow you to visualize your space and maybe find the large files that you can delete. If the sheer number of apps in your start menu is the problem then launchy will catalog your executable files and make them easier to find/run.

  6. What do you mean by being disconnected and how do you know that you are, getting disconnected?
  7. Do you have any computers currently connected to the lan and do you have the router installation disc?
  8. It's working for me, when you refresh the page, the image changes. Do you want to upload more images?
  9. Here's a media converter hive five. Oh look here's another one.
  10. I'm sorry, but i don't understand your problem. Edit: Did you put the image url into the submission form?
  11. I would go with nod32, it uses the least sys resources and it's very good at picking up viri(not quite as good as kaspersky, but the difference is negligible).
  12. Vista 64x has problems with DMA, unless anyone else has some advice then i think googling it and looking for others with the same problem might be your only option. Edit: You could try ripping the iso file off the disc and running it with daemon tools.
  13. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling java.
  14. It looks like a flash problem, try uninstalling flash and then reinstall it. Also download and try opera since it may be a plugin problem.
  15. Try opera or firefox, if it works with ie, but not safari then it's definitly a browser issue.
  16. Here, I found a realy nifty guide.
  17. If IE isn't working because of this hardware, I doubt he will want Firefox, as bloated as it is. Chrome, I thought, only supported XP/Vista, Linux, and OS X 10.5/10.6. Which is why I put opera first.
  18. If you are just using it for somewhat basic use(internet, word proccesing, etc.) then download ubuntu from this website, there should be instructions on how to do it. If you're using it for more advanced stuff or you have to use windows then you'll have to buy windows from computer store or newegg
  19. Ophcrack wont work for novell client, it only works for the default windows login. It sounds like the laptop might have been from a school or business that used novell to moderate logins, you might have to wipe the harddrive and reinstall the os. edit:Does it look like this?
  20. You smushed three sentences into one, so it's very hard to understand, try typing it out again, and clearly stating your problem.
  21. Download glary utilities and do the general cleanup plus clean out your startup programs. Also i would highly highly recommend getting opera, firefox, chrome or safari 4, since internet explorer 6 & 7 are complete crap.
  22. Full computer specs. please. It could be java, reinstall that Also try opera or chrome, it could be a resources problem.
