I'm interested in seeing any new MMOs out there. I browse MMORPG.com regularly and find new games pretty frequently, but I'm looking to play a new MMO. I love betas, small knit communities, etc. you know? I'm just curious to see what everyone else plays.
  2. I'm no girl, but my knowledge and experience with them can give you a good enough answer: So, the qualities a stereotypical "jerk" has: He's cool, he's humorous, he's light-hearted, he's social, he's got massive amounts of confidence, he's got balls and will only give girls respect if they earn it. He knows how to stimulate them emotionally, he knows how to get them to chase him, he knows how to create sexual tension and girls LOVE it. To the untrained eye it seems he's being hurtful, mean and a jerk to girls but that's coming from the perspective of a guy who treats girls like goddesses, does all kinds of nice deeds in hopes of getting something from her. Most of the time he's not really being a jerk, he says stuff jokingly, light-heartedly, flirts with all girls and just has a lot of fun. Now of course it's possible to be an actual jerk, but in my experience, many of the people I labeled as "jerks" were just guys who turned out to be really awesome guys. And after moving away from the "nice guy" image I can really see how girls love it. Now I'm going to have to break it to you. All the stuff you go out of your way to do for girls is hurting your chances. You're better off not doing anything for them, then to do that. Why? It's called supplication. Like buying a girl a drink at a bar. You're doing her a favor and expecting something in return. Essentially, you're buying her attention (with either time or money). Not only this isn't attractive, but girls hate it and as punishment they will accept the favor and then run off. Instead, they want a guy who can stimulate them emotionally and sexually, the nice guy is too effeminate to stimulate them sexually so he's fun to be around and makes them feel comfortable (as if they've got a little leash on you) BUT is never going to be their boyfriend. Now if you want to change (and as we had established before the roll-back it is possible to change whilst still being yourself), but not become a jerk like these guys there's a solution. Many here probably knew this was coming, It's to one of the most important things Goddess has taught me as well as others: Be a sensitive jerk That's midground between the effeminate "nice guy" and the abusive jerk. He's a guy who's got confidence but will connect with that girl on a special way. Girls love the sensitive jerk. Thank you very much, I appreciate that advice quite alot.
  3. I've been that "not gay but still the absolute best guy friend" for way too long. I hate going out of my way for girls, putting so much effort into them, and getting to watch them fall for the [wagon]. My friend Heather told me today that, [wagon] get the girls because they say and do those things that make a girl get butterflies in her stomach.. but what are those things? I don't want to be an [wagon], I won't change for another person but myself, I just need a girls opinion on what those things are that always attract the girls to the [puncture]s.
  4. I've heard that using a 64x version of Vista leaves alot of games incompatible and unable to run?
  5. Ahh I thought XP only supported 4 gigs, and Vista was 8? I didn't pick Vista because of the price. I haven't used it enough to be comfortable with it. And I meant RAID 1. @Silver, have you got any links to those two Hard drives?
  6. I've been working all summer and have some money to throw around: I'm looking to build my own desktop. I have my processor picked out already: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115029 Now I need to find a motherboard, I'm not entirely sure what to buy. I'd like to do dual 500 gig 10,000 rpm RAID hard drives, and I'll end up using 4 gigs of RAM since that's all XP will support. I'm still looking for a PSU, graphics card, etc. Anyways, I really don't have much of a limit on price unless it's 1300 or more.
  7. Well, seeing as the Sgs is -4.3 mil today, I think not. The Bgs is also down 1.2 mil. Besides, over the last 30 days: AGS: -11.8M BSG: -4.5M SGS: -12.6M ZGS: -5.4M I really don't see that happening.
  8. How do I password protect a file, or make a folder that requires a password. Even learning to encrypt it might help? I've got text documents, programs, and such that I'd like to keep in my own file that only I have access to. Can anyone explain how I either password protect or encrypt it. Thanks in advance
  9. Lawl, little nubbins... 9/10.. I don't see a imp box.

  14. Alright, well I'm becoming a member soon and I'd like a little help with planning. I've got a great friend who has taught me some money making techniques so I'm good in that area but; Skill related questions: Does the Zmi altar require pure ess? Or can I use regular ess and just get the regular ess runes? How many Nats do you make on average per hour (through the abyss and/or not through abyss)? How many Cosmics can you make an hour (none abyss method)? Quickest way to level 46-55 mage? And the quickest way to level 30-40 smithing? Grand Exchange related questions: The minimum offer and maximum offer would be nice, or just the auto one. Price of: Flax? Bow strings? Dragon bones? Dragon axe? Mage logs? That's all I can think of for now.. Thanks
  15. Lol. In reality it is not that difficult to build a computer. Before I built mine the only knowledge I really had was putting in a new video card or ram, and even then most of the time I had my dad do it. However it isn't that difficult, especially if you just make sure to read directions and don't try and guess something. The biggest pain for me was getting all the small stuff hooked up to the motherboard to be honest. I'm really not worried about assembling it, I'm afraid of installing everything for the first time because I don't wanna have to have someone repair it for me if I screw it up
  16. Gimme ur total lvel pl0xx?? I'm jealous, but I have a right to be.
  17. Wow, thathelped a great deal, thanks you very much :D :D
  18. Hey thanks, I'm probably gonna go with the 8800GTS
  19. The picture quality burns my retinas.. Amazing otherwise, 10.01/10
  20. Thanks, I've enjoyed reading through NewEgg so far, I like the speed of XP versus Vista like Puremage said, I'll wait until I'm at that point to decide.
  21. I'm a novice at computer building/programming but I'm looking into building my own computer. Right now I just have my mom's Dell Demension 3000 from around 2004 and it's just not cuttin it. I'm an avid gamer and looking to build myself the most efficient computer as cheaply as possible, but I want it to have a lot of memory, and the capacity to run high end games like Oblivion. Price really isn't an issue if it's less than 1,300 USD (of course the cheapest components for my needs would be desired). I'm turning 15 here in January and I'll be getting a job ASAP once my birthday rolls around. I'm expecting to get comments like "you've got no idea what your talking about, you're going to get in over your head and regret it" or something along those lines. Don't worry about it, I've thought about it and I'd like to invest some of my money into a PC. I think I'm a pretty intelligent young man and resourceful so you've got nothing to worry about. What I don't know off the top of my head, I can find on the internet , or Tip.It  I'm not to worried about assembling the components and I'm designing and building my own computer case to house everything in. I'm looking for suggestions on what kind of components I should use for the inner workings, disregard the cabinet, monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse. If you guys have to specs of your personal computers that you think might be an asset to me, I'd appreciate it. Another thing is the operating system, I'm thinking I'll go with XP but maybe I should think about Vista? Oh and a security program also, Norton is annoying as hell.
