  1. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=744156 Use Kents guide to train your summoning up, it explains the best possible use of your charms. As for collecting the charms, slayer seems the way to go. If not, fire giants drop a lot of gold, as do hellhounds, so they are good for getting gold. As we don't know your stats, we can't tell whether or not you have high melees/slayer, so if you do have high stats, waterfiends/dusties are good for crimsons. Hope this helps Liam
  2. Depends what you are ranging. If you are ranging a low-leveled monster or something with a low level of defense, void would be better as the loss of accuracy would not be that much noticed. If you are ranging a high level monster or something with high range defence, say metal drags, I would probably say arma is better as you would be hitting more consistant, lower attacks, then a lot of 0's and one high attack with void. I personally take void on everything when ranging, because if you spend 8 hrs doing a boring, pointless minigame, you want to show it off a little. ;)
  3. Ok, SGS bought  now to make my money back!
  4. Yeah, so maybe for usefullness and performance, sgs would be the best for my daily rs buisness?
  5. Oh yeah I'm not buying it as an investment, so I am not worried about not making a profit, I just getting one to help me along my daily rs life, rather than show off/profit
  6. Yeah I was sort of thinking sgs would be more usful for myself, as I've heard ags is only good for pvp and boss hunting, which I am not that fond of tbh.
  7. Okay, now that both of these swords have dropped down into my cash price range, I am thinking whether or not to buy one of them. I will still have between 15-18m worth of items left if i buy one, so it is not as if I am spending everything I have on one. If I was to buy one, which would be better for me. I mainly do slayer, so the sgs would be ideal for this. Also, I do not monster hunt on a regular basis. I occasionally go dk's, and only once to bandos gw, so I am not an avid monster hunter. I do tho, go to barrows regually, so both godswords could help there. Finally, if I was to buy one, would I actually be able to resell it easily if I had no furthur use for it, or if I didn't like that certain one? I don't particually want to buy a sword taking about 80% of my wealth, just to find out I can't sell the thing and i'm stuck with it. Anyway, I need tip its guidence on this one, whether to buy the sgs, ags or none at all! Many thanks, Liam
  8. The only way you could make that much money quick, would be to try gwd. I'm pretty sure you can get a team with your stats, maybe try training your melee stats to 85+ or so, and you will definatly get a team. You could also do dk's. You have a great mage level, so you could try solo/duo maging and can roll in the money there. If monster hunting isn't your thing, you could farm herbs, which give great profit. The main ones are snaps, ranarrs, toadflax and kwuarms. MTK is also a great profit maker. I believe the greatest profit nowadays is 10 workers on uncooked fish, and 5 on flax. That is not taking into concideration extras like caskets or birds nests, so if you are feeling lucky, put some workers on maples and hope for a magic seed. Aviancies(sp?) are also great money and great range exp. You are 80 defence so you have a good enough defence to tank at them. Just wear torag helm+legs, an arma pendant and either a zammy and sara item if killing in main area, or just a zammy item if killing in arma area. Bring either b2p tabs or runes to last longer. Other methods are green drag killing, blue drag killing, battlestaffs,, herblore seconds collecting, particualy snape grass. A good method is to use lunar mage, tele to waterbirth where there is plenty of spawns, then tele back to cw or another place with a bank, using glory/duel ring. Anyway, good luck on your way to 65m!
  9. I hate to sound like a broken record, but slayer is the way to go. You train three skills at once, have a large diversity of monsters to kill, and if lucky can get a nice profit on the side. Also it supplys a large amount of charms for your summoning. Finally you will "unlock" better monsters as you gain the ranks, which can give you a nice profit to help advance other skills. However, if slayer isn't your cup of tea, (and it isn't everyones,) you can either: Melee: Yaks, apes on ape atol, dt skeles, pc, muggis guide to zombie monkeys. You could also kill waterfiends for melee exp whilst getting charms for summoning when you get higher melee stats if you need a large stack of charms. Range: Yaks, fire giants, caged ogres, ranging metal dragons, chinning when you get 80+ range or so, aviancies. Mage: Maging metals, alching (yew longs/d hide bodies are always in big supply. Also, you could train crafting up by making gem bracelets and alching for minimal profit,) MTA enchanting. Also you could try bursting rock lobsters for great mage exp and good charms, although expensive it is one, if not the best way of getting charms. Summoning: Slayer, waterfiends, rock lobsters are probably your best bet for charms. If you do continue with slayer, monsters in the chaos tunnels drop more charms then in there other spawns, so it would be better to kill them there then other places. Also, Inuashakent does a great guide for summoning, check his out guide out for the most effective way to use your charms  Good Luck!
  10. Firemake at the grand exchange. There are three methods: 1) Firemaking in one line north or south of the GE 2) Firemaking in two lines east or west of the GE 3) The Box method north or south of the GE Theres one or two good guides on tip it which will be of use to you, I will find links now.
  11. Slayer is a good choice for the variety of monsters, drops/charms and for training 3 skills at once. If slayer isn't your cup of tea, maybe killing the ape guards, dt skeles, bandits, yaks or dharoking fire giants in smokey well. Just experiment until you find something you are comfortable with and enjoy. Good Luck on 99 strength
  12. Commonly high alched items: Yew longs/ mage longs, green d hide bodies just to name a few. As for merchanting items, I can't help you there, I always seem to lose money rather then gaining it -.- but good luck if you find a good item.
  13. Wow... This is the first guide in a while I have seen that explains the best inventry set-up/ route travelling whilst doing all the farming patches. Its also one of the first guides i've read all of in a while, *twice* just to absorb all of the information :D I've book marked for when I do farming from now on 10/10 easily
  14. I'm not 100% on this, but I don't think you can use a cannon in the chaos tunnels. If you just wear guth and usual slayer equipment, bringing bunyip and spear/helm and a little emergency food, you will more than likely last a long time.
  15. I will prolly quit when I head off to college, qualifications > runescape
  16. Is this really accurate, or will it take me more? -From 76, I worked out that it will take me 1.2k games to 99, so yes I think 2k games is a good amount. But don't forget, there will be some times when you do not check/loot all urns so you will have less exp than other times, and also you will get more exp as you gain entry into each room. Can i use familiars? ex: magpies to raise thieving by 2 -You can use a familar yes, you can either use a thieve boost, but i prefer to use a healing familar as I do not have to bring food. You can also use a storage familar so that it can hold the trinckets for you. Will the amt of games change when im able to go into more rooms? -Yes it will, you will get a lot more exp as you go into rooms 6, 7 and then 8 = less games. How long would this take? -If you use the approach you wrote of in the introduction, and if speaking you get 10 games done in an hour (50mins pp, 10 mins banking) it will prolly take around : 64-71: 68 Games = 408 mins (6.8 Hours) 71-81: 151 Games = 906 mins (15.1 Hours) 81-91: 270 Games = 1620 mins (27 Hours) 91-99: 393 Games = 2358 mins (39.3 Hours) Total - 5292 mins (88.2 Hours) This is just an estimate using runehq's calculator, and is based on 10 games an hour, and the max exp gained using your method in introduction. This may be totally off, so if anyone with more experience wants to give a better estimate, feel free. :D Good Luck if you do choose to get 99 thieve, thats my goal after 99 attack :D Also, I use this guide when I do pyramid plunder. It is short sweet and to the point, and although it uses a duel ring charge, you will make more money then dropping stone trinkets.
  17. Some of the dragon items are probably already in the making as kinggabe has already said. The enchanted armour, looks like an expendable idea, but you would have to think thoroughly the effects of each enchantment, so that they are not too over/under powered. As for dual weapons, Mod Emilee has already said not to suggest it, on runescape forums. Also it has been suggested millions of times before, so it is not a very orignal idea. (Quick find code: 24-25-563-52282888)
  18. No im pretty sure you do not get exp for poison damage
  19. I am pretty sure it is 12hrs but 1% of me thinks it 15 hrs, sorry I can't be any more help.

There are many outcomes depending on your inventry/attack style: 73 Range Potted, on accurate: 29 73 Range Potted, on rapid/longrange: 28 73 Range Potted, on accurate, praying eagle eye: 34 73 Range Potted, on rapid/longrange, praying eagle eye: 33 73 Range Potted, on accurate, full void: 32 73 Range Potted, on rapid/longrange, full void: 31 73 Range Potted, on accurate, full void, praying eagle eye: 37 73 Range Potted, on rapid/longrange, full void, praying eagle eye: 36 Each of these results are pretty accurate, give or take 1. Credits to Ledgend Z5's max hit guide on rsof for the calculations.
  21. Good Luck Mate :D Gratz on 96 fletching, are you going for 99?
  22. Well barrows give a lot of chaos/death runes, as well as blood, so you might want to give that a shot instead of killing a specific monster. You might also get a nice barrows drop which you can sell for more runes
  23. I personally like to cut willows just south of ardougne. If you go out of the out of the south bank and then directly south past the zoo, theres two willow trees next to each other. Its not as good exp as say draynor or barb assult, but there is hardly ever competiton when cutting.
  24. You need to get a signiture. A good one is from draynor.net Just follow the on screen instructions, and post the link they give you at the end in your profile. You can get to this by going to user control panel ---> Profile ---> Edit Signiture :D Good Luck
