He is choosing magic most likely because he would kill them faster at such a high magic level than with melee. And range really isn't an option. Just because he is choosing magic over melee doesn't mean he is choosing to raise his magic through slayer, just to get slayer tasks done faster.

Fishing is pretty slow cash actually. yeah, I know. But he said he didn't like combat and his highest non-combat is 92 fishing.

What...? Then why would you even bring up Magic? I like to pk when I'm bored. Sometimes I use weapons that make me kill someone faster. Like dbow(range) instead of whip(melee). Just because I use these weapons doesn't mean I'm grinding the skill(s)... Are you arguing against yourself? I said Slayer is not his only source of Magic. He didn't say he wanted to train magic, he is doing slayer. Yes, he is going to get magic exp but slayer is obviously not his only magic training source. He asked if they were mageable. Yes, they are. End.

This is why. To add to this, Magic is very slow. Slayer dart is just as fast or faster than ranged

91 mage>55 range Damage wise, obviously. However, there are many better ways to train Magic, but not so for Range. Magic is suckish for training in combat. I don't think he would fare well with range on black demons. So probobably melee, or test magic out first, because with magic he won't use prayer potions.

I never noticed a real difference except less people.

91 mage>55 range At such a high magic level you could be very effective on black demons, try using slayer dart. I use slayer dart often and it seems very accurate.

It's also more expensive. Sell the granite helm and buy rune boots, combat bracelet, and rune full.(and glory if the helm is still at 300k)

Monkfish. It balances out, but monkfish are good exp and money, because you catch them much faster than sharks. Shark=Monkfish I prefer monkfish though.

Climbing boots are better than iron. Otherwise I think you are correct.

Gwd would be fun, but you would have to use a crappy setup with 1m. People have different opinions on what they think are fun. Some people think mining is fun :ohnoes: I would suggest listening to music or watching t.v., or even join a clan chat while doing your normal money making activities.

This is almost the same concept as pures that want to "No armor". You worked for the defense levels, and you have an advantage over them, and they want to get rid of your advantages. Why would I wear no armor when I worked my way up to 70 defense? Same with prayer. I have spent millions on prayer, and yet people flame me for using it. I just laugh at them tbh. I know I have the winning argument. Use your hard earned levels as you see fit. Don't listen to other people telling you what you can and can't do.

Wearing any part of stealing creation armor gives double experience. With the full set the time limit of the armor is extened. It's not worth it to get the full set. Just get alot of helms. :D

What is the most balanced speed and cost efficient method for me to do barrows? Stats in sig (I just got 55 slayer if that helps)

Blast Furnace mith bars and then make mith bolts. You make profit. then when you get to 88 I think you can make addy bolts and sell for profit. You also get fletching exp.
